Hi there! I'm assuming you made it to my page because life has gotten particularly difficult and you're searching for some sort of direction or confirmation that "you are not crazy for feeling that way". We are not crazy for feeling - and therapy can help assist you in understanding why some emotions are more difficult to feel than others. Recovery is about learning tolerance; not forgetting and dismissing your experiences. I am experienced in working in both outpatient offices and inpatient hospital settings where I support clients in addressing issues stemming from generational trauma, relationships, grief and loss, life adjustments, substance use / other addictions, anxiety, and serious mental illness. I view therapy as a process that requires learning about vulnerability and accountability and then applying both for results.

"One step, one step." So, this is a phrase I often say. I use it as a reminder that we will move forward, heal, achieve our goals one step, one moment at a time. If we feel or see ourselves slip back....we reset. We move forward again one step, one step. Wellness has always been a focus in my life's work. My expertise has allowed me to work with individuals from the African Diaspora, immigrant communities, various cultures, military and those diagnosed with chronic illness. I use a holistic approach, integrating modalities such as a Client-Centered approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused and Mindfulness to achieve your goals and build an empowered, stronger and healthier sense of self. I believe that collaborating with you as an individual, learning your strengths, challenges, and identifying key coping skills together we move towards your best strategies for wellness. If you are feeling worried, depressed, scared, anxious, overwhelmed by circumstances in your daily life or new to therapy we can work together to find that balance you need.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with 18 years of experience supporting children, teens, adults, and older adults. I’ve worked in a wide range of mental health settings—including inpatient and outpatient programs, schools, juvenile detention, family-based services, universities, prisons, and private practice—which has given me a deep understanding of how mental health needs evolve across the lifespan. After seeing how limited access to care was in rural Pennsylvania, I became an early advocate for telemental health. Today, I offer both virtual and in-person counseling, giving clients the flexibility to choose what feels most comfortable and accessible for them. Starting my own practice during the pandemic allowed me to create a healthier work-life balance while dedicating my full attention to providing compassionate, high-quality care. My goal is to meet you where you are, help you feel understood, and support you in building the tools you need to move forward with confidence and peace.

The transition to parenthood and constant changes once you’re there are some of the most transformative experiences a person can go through during their life. This time is both beautiful and stressful. Whether it’s your first or your fifth+ child, in today’s world, almost all of us- both moms and dads- can benefit from some additional support in the years of pregnancy and raising children. My practice aims to assist you through all of the normal and abnormal challenges of this time that is short-lived but has long-lasting impacts on ourselves and our families. While each individual and family is unique in their needs and ways that they grow, common goals achieved in counseling include feeling more connected to yourself, your baby or child, and your partner; changing unhealthy family patterns you don’t want to repeat from past generations; feeling more confident in yourself as a parent and partner; improving work-life balance; feeling more supported and less alone; developing your unique identity as a parent and embracing this stage of life; and improving persistent feelings of anxiety, depression, shame, anger, and feeling overwhelmed. If you are struggling, want to better support a partner who is struggling, or would just like to utilize this uniquely powerful time in your life to become more of the person you want to be, I would love to meet you.

Do you find yourself asking, “Why am I so overwhelmed all the time?” or "Why does it seem like everyone else is handling life better than I am?” If so, please know you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. I’m Beth, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania, and I believe therapy should be a place where you can finally exhale—a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment or needing to have the perfect words. Maybe you’re exhausted from trying to hold everything and everyone together, wondering why what seems so easy for everyone else feels like such a struggle for you, or questioning why you don’t feel like yourself anymore. I’m a warm and empathetic person, and I believe compassion, authenticity, and trust are at the heart of meaningful therapeutic work. Before becoming a therapist, I spent nearly 20 years as an educator in the School District of Philadelphia, an experience that shaped my passion for understanding and supporting people beyond what we see on the surface. As a wife and mother of two young adults, I understand that life can be complicated, messy, and exhausting! I believe therapy can be a place to do meaningful work while still making room for humor and a little lightness when appropriate. And I’m a firm believer that a little chocolate can’t hurt either. 🍫 Most importantly, I believe where you are today does not have to determine where you end up. Meaningful change is possible, and I’d be honored to help you find your way forward.

You’ve got a lot going on. There are so many demands pulling you in every direction that it can feel impossible to find peace and show up as the best parent, partner, and employee you can be. And, while settling into the same routine has gotten you this far, it’s stopped being sustainable and has started to feel like a strain. If this sounds like you, I’m pleased to be a support for you and your family. I’m Shiloh Johnson. My professional passion is aiding individuals, couples, and families address conflict, open lines of communication, and build better bonds. I had a spiritual calling towards counseling, and seeing my clients reach their goals and grow as people is exactly what God put on my heart to help fulfill. In our sessions, you can expect a blend of evidence-based practices and a warm, person-centered approach to help you find harmony in difficult circumstances. I see a wide range of clients, with many types of presenting problems. I enjoy treating families, especially those with blended family issues, adults struggling with autism, mood disorders, or BPD, and those seeking general guidance. While I’m not currently a fit for those in active addiction or recovery, I am able to support loved ones in navigating this complex relationship. When not in session, I workout, play my guitar, and do home improvement projects. Session for children and teenagers will be "in person" only. I have openings for individual therapy clients only at this time.

A plan, specific actions and personalized strategies - This is what I give my clients to help them get unstuck, overcome suffering, and fully enjoy the important things in their life. The Bible, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and neuropsychology - The sources of wisdom I use to guide our plans and strategies. When life throws you for a loop, your mind and emotions are overwhelming and don't make sense, and you don't know what to do, you need someone who understands the mind and emotions, and how to tame them. I'm Dr. Matt Bridgman. I am a follower of Jesus Christ, a husband and father, and a clinical psychologist and board certified neuropsychologist. I have a Master's degree in Christian Leadership and a PhD in Clinical Psychology, both from Fuller Theological Seminary. I've been studying the human mind (mood, emotions, behavior, cognition) for over 20 years, through the lenses of God's Word and neuropsychology. I've helped thousands of people with mood/emotion and also cognitive troubles coming from many sources: depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, concussions and traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, stroke, and numerous other mental health, neurological, and physical health conditions. I've worked in community counseling centers, inpatient psychiatry units, big academic medical centers, small community hospitals, outpatient behavioral health clinics, neurology clinics, inpatient physical rehabilitation units, and VA medical centers. I'm excited now to be helping others through my own private practice. I help my clients not just through empathy and good listening, but through helping them understand their own mind better. I guide them through shaping and training their mind, overcoming suffering, and thriving in the process of it all.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (PA & WV) with 10 years of experience in outpatient mental health. I specialize in supporting individuals — both adolescents and adults — navigating the aftermath of trauma, loss, adoption/foster care challenges, grief, anxiety, and depression. With children and teens, I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF‑CBT), integrating trauma‑informed strategies tailored to younger clients. With adults, I use trauma-informed interventions alongside cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), adapting my approach to each person’s unique story, strengths, and pace. Being adopted myself has deeply shaped my passion for adoption and foster care work — not just as a professional interest, but from lived experience. I understand the layers of identity, connection, loss, and belonging that come with these journeys, and I bring that insight to my practice with empathy and sensitivity. I also maintain ongoing training in areas such as grief work, anxiety, depression, and relational dynamics to ensure I’m bringing current practices to our work.

Hi there. It's a pleasure to meet you. I am a Board-Certified Music Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience working in inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, tailoring therapy to each person's unique needs and goals. I recognize the impact trauma can have on emotions, relationships, and daily life, and I strive to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. As a creative arts therapist, I may incorporate music and other expressive approaches when beneficial, helping clients build insight, develop coping skills, and explore emotions in ways that feel comfortable and meaningful. My goal is to help clients gain confidence, strengthen resilience, and create lasting positive change. Sessions unable to proceed due to unresolved technical difficulties may be considered missed appointments. Session Lengths: Intake sessions are 60 minutes. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with complex and high acuity mental health needs. My work is grounded in trauma informed and trauma responsive care, with a strong commitment to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent clients, and individuals in rural communities. I work across the lifespan, including children (7+), adults, older adults, families, and couples. My approach is collaborative and empowering, centered on the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives and require my clinical expertise. I often describe my role as “working myself out of a job” to help clients build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to advocate for themselves and navigate systems independently. As a trauma specialist, I tailor evidence based interventions to each client’s identities, needs, strengths, and goals. My primary approaches include Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)-(EMDRIA certification pending), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I also integrate Internal Family Systems informed interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, exposure based strategies, mindfulness, and other approaches as clinically appropriate. I adapt treatment for neurodivergent clients and clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities because therapy should adjust to the person and not require the person to adjust to therapy. I am continually shaped by the courage, insight, and lived experiences clients bring into our work. Every advanced training, specialty, certification, and state license reflect lessons learned from clients. I carry their trust, stories, and influence into every session with gratitude and responsibility. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing a grounded, supportive, and non-judgmental space for individuals and couples to explore what they’re carrying and move toward meaningful change. My approach is holistic and trauma-informed, integrating evidence-based practices like CBT and Brainspotting while honoring the connection between mind and body. Having lived abroad, I’ve had the opportunity to experience many cultures and walks of life, which deeply informs my perspective and allows me to meet clients with openness, curiosity, and cultural humility. I am also completing my Doctor of Social Work (DSW) next month, further strengthening my commitment to thoughtful, evidence-based, and meaningful care. I work with clients navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the lasting impact of past experiences. I believe therapy should feel collaborative and at your pace—where you don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. My goal is to help you build insight, strengthen coping, and reconnect with yourself and your relationships in a way that feels more clear, steady, and aligned.

You might be here because life feels heavier than it should, your thoughts won’t slow down, or you’re tired of trying to hold everything together on your own. As a licensed therapist in Pennsylvania, I work with people who are navigating stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD, self‑doubt, and the everyday challenges that can leave you feeling overwhelmed or stuck. My approach is down‑to‑earth and collaborative. I don’t believe in one‑size‑fits‑all therapy — your experiences, your pace, and your goals matter. Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way, build practical tools you can use in real life, and create space for you to feel understood without judgment. I draw from evidence‑based practices, but just as importantly, I bring compassion, curiosity, and respect for your unique story. Whether you’re working on managing emotions, improving focus, building confidence, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again, I’m here to support you every step of the way. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more capable, and more connected to the life you want to live.
