Hi! I'm Dr. Laurel Buxbaum, a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania since 1989. I have a background in cognitive neuropsychology and extensive experience helping people with stress, anxiety, depression, career, family, and relationship issues. By combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with many other different approaches, as needed, in a warm and supportive atmosphere, I can offer clients a number of strategies for success and growth.
I am a Christian man, a family man, and I enjoy getting to know others, hearing their stories, coming alongside in their journey, and helping for a time. Primarily, I have seen this happen when people are open to seeing things from a different perspective and experiencing healing in their relationships. When we work together, I want you to start walking through life with better vision, better purpose, and better people, although it might be the same people but you are seeing them and treating them in a whole new way. And don't forget about seeing and treating yourself in new ways too. You are worth it!

I am a therapist dedicated to helping individuals and families create meaningful, lasting change—especially during some of the most challenging and complex moments in their lives. My work is rooted in the belief that behavior makes sense when we understand the experiences behind it, and that real progress comes from addressing both the “why” and the “how” of change.
I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, and families who are navigating trauma, behavioral concerns, and system involvement. Many of the clients I serve have experienced disruptions in attachment, high-stress environments, or significant life events that continue to impact their relationships, emotional well-being, and decision-making.
My approach is structured, active, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including attachment-based therapy, trauma-informed care, EMDR, and DBT. I focus on helping clients build insight into their patterns while also developing practical skills they can use in everyday life. I believe therapy should not only be a place to process experiences, but also a space to build tools, accountability, and confidence.
I work to create a therapeutic environment that is consistent, supportive, and honest. I balance compassion with clear expectations, helping clients feel understood while also challenging them to grow. Whether I am working with an individual or an entire family system, my goal is to strengthen relationships, improve emotional regulation, and support long-term stability.

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience working with children and adults. I have primarily worked within school systems as an on-site therapist; as well as in my own private practice. I work with people who have a variety of concerns, including: trauma, attachment, grief and loss, divorce, school problems, anxiety and depression, life-phase transitions, and family conflicts. I value an eclectic and prescriptive therapeutic model, and am skilled at shifting gears when the need arises.
My specialty is working with children 2 to 12. As a registered play therapist/supervisor, I understand the language that children routinely use to communicate: play. Through play therapy, children can explore new roles, act out challenging situations, and re-work beliefs about themselves and others. In parent-child play therapy (with younger children), we work together to build secure and safe connections, practice new ways of communicating, and foster JOY in your interactions.
In addition to play therapy, I have trained extensively in EMDR (for children and adults), Jungian sandtray, the Oaklander Model of Gestalt Play therapy, Mindfulness, and Theraplay. Every one of these modalities is meant to foster relationships built on safety, warmth, security, and trust.

Hello. My name is Tammy Jo. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 18+ years of experience as a LSW and LCSW in supporting individuals and families through challenging times. I have experience in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, and family issues, however, I do not conduct couples counseling. Through a collaborative approach we can work together on YOUR goals! I employ a strengths-based approach, which is straightforward, yet empathetic, focusing on resilience and personal growth.
Hello! My name is Meghan!
Im so glad you're here! I want to first acknowledge your first step toward you wanting to better yourself.
I strive to see individuals show up authentically themselves in all areas of life and I create a space where that can be explored without judgement. I use CBT, strengths-based and Motivational Interviewing, as well as a systematic approach within my practice.
As a first-generation college graduate, I am passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and difficult experiences. I deeply value building a strong therapeutic relationship and strive to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported from the very beginning.
Within this space, we will work collaboratively toward your goals, fostering self-awareness, growth, and overall healing. My approach is compassionate and client-centered, with a focus on helping you feel empowered throughout your journey.
I am a therapist who works from a modern psychoanalytic perspective. My approach is rooted in understanding—not simply telling you what to do, but helping you make sense of what is happening beneath the surface.
You may be seeking help because you feel anxious, depressed, disconnected in your relationships, or stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand. You do not need to arrive with a clear explanation of what is wrong. We can begin with whatever you are experiencing, including feelings that are difficult to name or put into words.
While practical coping strategies can be helpful, our work also makes room for the deeper emotional experiences that may contribute to your struggles. Together, we can explore what you feel, how you relate to others, and why certain situations or relationships affect you as they do.
The relationship we develop is an important part of this process. How you experience closeness, trust, vulnerability, and connection—including with me—can help us understand your experiences in other relationships. There is room to talk about what feels supportive, uncomfortable, confusing, or difficult between us.
My role is to listen thoughtfully, remain curious, and help you explore your experience without imposing an answer about who you should be. The aim is not just to cope with difficult feelings, but to develop a more compassionate understanding of yourself, greater freedom in how you respond, and more choice in how you live and relate to others.
Sometimes we find it hard to ask for help when we are struggling. For you to read this profile you have just given yourself the permission to receive the healing compassion that you so deserve and I applaud you for taking that first step. As a therapist for the past 16 years, I have made it my mission to be there for people like yourself that struggle with a multitude of stressors, including anxiety, post traumatic stress, social anxiety, struggles with communication, phobias/fears and overthinking patterns to name a few. I specialize in trauma specifically with a certification in clinical trauma (CCTP). Clients who have experienced any level of trauma, can feel confident in working with me that we will process through the trauma itself and also learn how to cope with the everyday triggers and grieving process. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for both trauma related issues and for anxiety related issues. I also incorporate eclectic approaches to my treatment since every client needs something different when it comes to navigating how to cope with their struggles. I am empathetic and an attentive listener that will be your support for whatever your journey may be. My warm caring personality matched with some humor will help us to build a solid therapeutic foundation.
Hi, I am Tara Dickman and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and obtained my Master of Science in Counseling and Human Relations from Villanova University. If you feel overwhelmed by anxiety, navigating a tough life transition or feeling disconnected in your relationships, you have landed in the right place. I specialize in working with children and adolescents experiencing behavioral challenges, individual adults, couples and families. I work from a collaborative and strength based approach. My goal is to help individuals reach their highest potential by nurturing their inner resilience.
My name is Dr. Arnold Tilden and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. Early on, we will set goals for our counseling and regularly check our progress. We work as partners in reaching our goals. My approach, although eclectic, is influenced by Albert Ellis and his Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy or REBT. The central concept is that our thinking (Rational) influences our emotions (Emotive), which drives or behavior.
I have been practicing for 9 years and enjoy working with people from all different walks of life. I'm passionate about helping people live an authentic life and learn skills to manage their mental health. I enjoy creativity and getting outdoors. I try to include elements of these into therapy as all areas of our health are interconnected. I use a variety of approaches while keeping the client in the center. Some of these approaches include CBT and ACT while keeping a trauma informed perspective. I enjoy grief work and helping people process through this challenging time.
I started my career in human services at Northeast Treatment Centers in Philadelphia, PA where, over the course of 7 years, I worked as Youth Advocate for adjudicated adolescents, lead clinician for a community-based treatment team and outpatient therapist. After becoming a licensed psychotherapist in 2014, I worked as an outpatient therapist for multiple companies in the Philadelphia area where I helped clients manage or overcome symptoms related to anxiety, stress, trauma, depression and more.
My therapeutic approach is strongly rooted in humanistic psychology. As described in an article from the Association for Humanistic Psychology, this approach offers a "crucial opportunity to lead our troubled culture back to its own healthy path. More than any other therapy, Humanistic-Existential therapy models democracy. It imposes ideologies of others upon the client less than other therapeutic practices. Freedom to choose is maximized. We validate our client's human potential."
I’m a licensed clinical social worker who believes therapy should feel like a place where you can finally exhale. I’ve been in this field for over a decade and currently serve clients across different settings. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. My clinical work focuses on helping individuals navigate trauma, emotional distress, and complex life challenges through structured and effective therapeutic approaches.

These modalities allow me to support clients in developing healthier coping skills, improving emotional regulation, challenging unhelpful thought patterns, and processing traumatic experiences in a safe and supportive environment.
My practice is grounded in a trauma-informed, client-centered approach, where each individual’s experiences and goals guide the therapeutic process. I work collaboratively with clients to build resilience, increase self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

Hi, I'm Gioia (Sounds like "Joya"), and welcome. It may have taken courage to find yourself here, so well done, you.
I am a Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is flexible, affirming and joyful. I seek to find the potential in all things - even the hard, dark stuff. My own lived experience with neurodivergence and chronic illness greatly inform my practice. I use a compassionate, person-centered approach that is solution focused; I seek to incorporate creativity, mind-body connection, and unconditional positive regard in our work together. One can expect to gain psychoeducation, coping skills, and distress tolerance skills to meet one's goals and reach the place one hopes to be. It is my goal to create a space for individuals that is laid back, safe, silly, and affirming so that clients may show up as their full, authentic self. I hope that one leaves our sessions feeling grounded, witnessed, and a lot less alone.
