I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing a grounded, supportive, and non-judgmental space for individuals and couples to explore what they’re carrying and move toward meaningful change. My approach is holistic and trauma-informed, integrating evidence-based practices like CBT and Brainspotting while honoring the connection between mind and body. Having lived abroad, I’ve had the opportunity to experience many cultures and walks of life, which deeply informs my perspective and allows me to meet clients with openness, curiosity, and cultural humility. I am also completing my Doctor of Social Work (DSW) next month, further strengthening my commitment to thoughtful, evidence-based, and meaningful care. I work with clients navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the lasting impact of past experiences. You might be here because life feels heavier than it should, your thoughts won’t slow down, or you’re tired of trying to hold everything together on your own. As a licensed therapist in Pennsylvania, I work with people who are navigating stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD, self‑doubt, and the everyday challenges that can leave you feeling overwhelmed or stuck. My approach is down‑to‑earth and collaborative. I don’t believe in one‑size‑fits‑all therapy — your experiences, your pace, and your goals matter. Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way, build practical tools you can use in real life, and create space for you to feel understood without judgment. I draw from evidence‑based practices, but just as importantly, I bring compassion, curiosity, and respect for your unique story. Whether you’re working on managing emotions, improving focus, building confidence, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again, I’m here to support you every step of the way. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more capable, and more connected to the life you want to live.

Hello and welcome! My name is Danielle, and I am a licensed LPC with over twenty years of experience working in clinical, school, and home settings. I recognize the increasing complexity of modern life. With each year, we accumulate more experiences, both positive and negative, that we are expected to process while "keeping it all together" and "getting it all done". I have a Master's Degree in Education from West Chester University, which I enthusiastically use to help my clients learn to thrive in our challenging world. I view every client relationship as a unique opportunity to serve as a positive and impactful influence that inspires lasting and meaningful change. As a parent, daughter, caregiver, sibling, and partner, I understand the pressure and expectations of modern relationships and the flexibility needed to manage daily struggles while staying motivated, focused, and stable. Similar to many of the clients I work with, I recognize that even the good days are exhausting and demanding. My ideal client is someone ready to choose to show up for themselves and engage in the process of self-transformation to create the outcomes they desire. You deserve to become the best version of yourself. I welcome the opportunity to walk with you on this journey.

I’m a warm, compassionate and down to earth therapist, who believes healing happens through genuine connection. With more than 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I bring both clinical knowledge and a deeply human approach to our work together. I’m thoughtful and intuitive but I also love humor and believe some of the most meaningful moments in therapy happen when we can laugh together, even while doing difficult work. My approaches, are collaborative, trauma-informed, and rooted in curiosity rather than judgment. I help clients recognize patterns, understand themselves more deeply, strengthen boundaries, reconnect with their own voice and begin trusting themselves again. I especially enjoy helping people move beyond simply understanding why they feel the way they do and toward creating meaningful change in their lives. My own life has taught me that growth is rarely neat or linear. I value, authenticity, resilience, compassion, and the courage it takes to begin again and again. My hope is that therapy feels like a place where you can exhale, be fully yourself, and know that you don’t have to have everything figured out all at once.

Hi! My name is Mary Beth and I am happy that you have come to the Grow Therapy website. I earned a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Grief and Trauma from Arcadia University and have been practicing for 10 years. First, I want to congratulate you on taking a big step towards improving your mental health! Maybe you are feeling sad and are crying more than you ever remember. Or perhaps you are feeling anxious and panicky and you don't understand why. Maybe you are up all night, tossing and turning and sleep just doesn't come. Do you feel stuck in a relationship that is unhealthy and can't think straight or how to express your feelings effectively? Many of us have been there before and need support. I have a proven record of helping my clients feel better and experience joy in their lives. First I build trust in our relationship by listening in a nonjudgmental and safe way. I help you envision your goals - what you would like your life to look like? Together we will process your challenges and identify the thoughts, feelings and behaviors that are not working for you. Also, I will introduce effective coping and communication skills which we can practice together to increase your confidence. I can help you become more aware of how your thinking and emotions affect your behavior and how you can challenge unhealthy thoughts that lead to overwhelming emotions. Then together we can identify your unique strengths (everyone has them) and find ways to employ them for success. I believe strongly in the mind and body connection and increasing self-awareness. I teach mindfulness skills to improve self-control which helps people stay in the present without constantly ruminating about the difficulties of the past or their fears about the future. I am trained in DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) which is effective for those who experience problems with emotional instability and impulsiveness. While healthy relationships are often the bedrock of a joyful life, relationships can also cause pain. Together we can identify the dynamics of these relationships and then identify effective ways to repair them or find new and more healthy ones. If this sparks your interest, please contact me. Thank you for your consideration.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over ten years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through life’s challenges. My path to becoming a therapist began with my own experiences in counseling, where I discovered the power of having a safe, nonjudgmental space to heal and grow. That experience shaped my belief that therapy is not just about addressing problems, but about uncovering strengths, building resilience, and learning how to live with greater peace and purpose. I specialize in working with individuals managing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and relationship struggles. My therapeutic style is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also integrate mindfulness techniques to help clients slow down, become more aware of their emotions, and respond in healthier ways. My role is not to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you in your journey, offering tools, insight, and encouragement. Clients who work with me often notice they gain greater clarity, stronger coping strategies, and more confidence in navigating relationships, boundaries, and personal goals. My ultimate aim is to create a safe space where you feel truly heard, validated, and empowered to make lasting changes in your life. I currently offer sessions during weekday daytime hours, which works well for clients with flexible schedules or those seeking therapy during standard business hours.

My approach is person-centered, holistic, and less focused on feeling overly clinical, with an emphasis on fostering a meaningful human connection. You are a strong, confident and capable person who everyone in your life depends on. You have been taking care of others for so long that it feels like second nature. As a child, you may have learned to prioritize needs of others for acceptance or survival. Although you have achieved success as an adult, you find yourself constantly overthinking and scanning for potential loss or abandonment and you developed patterns of people pleasing, perfectionism or codependency in order to survive. You recognize that something needs to shift. You desire to change and heal, but you are held back by self-doubt, insecurity and fear. You need a therapist who can help you make sense of what's happened and develop skills and confidence to finally prioritize your needs, pursue and cultivate mutually satisfying relationships and create a life that aligns with what matters most to you. If this sounds like you, you are in the right place.

All behavior is purposeful. This means that we never do anything for no reason. Even when our behavior appears confusing or counterproductive to our values, our behavior has meaning and purpose. Therapy is a setting where we can gain insight about the origins of our perceptions, thinking and behavior. With clearer understanding, we are better equipped to identify factors within our control and consider alternative responses to our conditions. We gain awareness of the needs that are being met by potentially self-defeating thinking or behaviors and have a special opportunity to practice new thinking in the safety of therapy.

Hello. I am licensed marriage and family therapist and my clinical approach is cognitive-behavioral strength-based. I focus on helping people invalidate negative thoughts and become aware of their strengths. I do so in order to help them improve their confidence so that they can overcome challenges that they previously believed were impossible to triumph over. I also help people improve their boundaries to assist them with preventing others from negatively impacting their confidence and interfering with the development of their goals. With couples and families, I use an emotionally-focused approach that helps people become more comfortable with being vulnerable with people that are important to them. Becoming vulnerable helps people focus on discussing how they are impacted by others and what they need from them instead of blaming and criticism. Taking such a stance increases the chance that listeners will remain attentive instead of becoming defensive.

Hello, I am Dr. Young. The secret to becoming successful in life is to change from the inside out. In my view, everyone is capable of self-healing given proper guidance and supportive conditions. Using a gentle, hypnosis-based approach, I offer solution-focused brief therapy to help you access your internal resources and work through challenges. With acceptance and appreciation of what you can do, possible solutions previously not in sight start to appear organically. My interventions are based on our collaboration and leverage your own experiences, beliefs, and behavioral patterns to drive change. I use storytelling and metaphors that mirror your problems and indirectly guide your problem-solving. With your consent, I guide you into a deeply relaxed state in which new perspectives are more easily accessible or receptive.

As a therapist, I am passionate about helping people to create the life they want. Using my training and experience, I develop a collaborative, warm, and down-to-earth approach. I am committed to creating a safe space for you. Together we uncover your strengths to use in our work together as we decrease obstacles standing your way. My work is rooted in mindfulness and the understanding that "we do not harvest our inner crop on the same day we plant the seed". I look forward to partnering with you in your journey. When I am not working, I enjoy knitting. Knitting, much like therapy, is a process of creating something meaningful stitch by stitch.

Hi, I’m Andrea Thomas, a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience supporting adolescents, adults, and families. I help clients manage anxiety and stress, heal from trauma and grief, navigate life transitions, strengthen relationships, and build greater confidence, motivation, and self-esteem. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and personalized to your needs. Together, we’ll explore what may be keeping you stuck, recognize the strengths you already possess, and develop practical tools to help you move forward. I believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, so you can expect a safe, welcoming space where you can express yourself openly and without judgment. When I’m not in session, I enjoy listening to music and cheering on my favorite football team. These are a few of the ways I recharge and stay grounded. When you’re ready, I’m here to listen, support you, and walk alongside you as you heal from the past, focus on the present, and transform your future.

I am an open-minded, flexible, and compassionate mental health professional who recognizes that every client is unique. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so I strive to meet clients where they are and adapt my style to best support their individual needs and goals. I value authenticity, collaboration, and creating a safe space where clients feel heard and understood. My professional experience includes working as a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) therapist, where I supported individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges. I currently work as a school counselor, helping students navigate academic, social, emotional, and personal concerns. Outside of my professional role, I enjoy reading books, watching a variety of TV shows, spending quality time with family and friends, and exploring new restaurants. As a self-proclaimed foodie, I love discovering new places and experiences, which helps me bring curiosity, openness, and a genuine appreciation for different perspectives into my work with clients.

I have an LPC and an LMFT and have been seeing clients since 1996. I have extensive training in helping people who are going through or have experienced narcissistic abuse and any form of childhood trauma, this includes verbal and emotional abuse, family addictions, or any early childhood experience that would cause one to feel unsafe. I am also experienced in the treatment of anxiety, worry and mood concerns and work with addictions, obsessive compulsive behaviors and any poor coping skills or core beliefs that were developed in order to manage these stressors. I use practices primarily focused on somatic and cognitive therapy but also utilize acceptance commitment therapy, internal family systems, mindfulness and am solution focused. I use homework and assignments aimed at regulating the nervous system in order to repair the fight/flight/freeze response that is often stuck on due to a continuous history of a variety of life stressors (trauma). This trapped and stored trauma continues to trigger the nervous system to respond in ways where we continue to feel unsafe, even after the threats have passed. By working with the nervous system to release this trapped trauma and find safety, we can then have the opportunity to respond to the world differently.
