Hello,
I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) based in Cincinnati, Ohio. I received my Master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati and have over 20 years of experience in social work. I take a holistic approach to therapy while utilizing evidence-based modalities and integrating the mind, body, and spirit into your healing journey. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker based in Ohio and have been in the field since 2013. I graduated from Miami University in 2013 with my bachelor's degree in psychology and worked as a case manager for a year, assisting adults with managing mental health symptoms. I also helped with medication management, and assisted with supporting them in daily living skills, before getting my master's degree in social work in 2016. Once I graduated with my Master's, I then worked at a community based correctional facility for 3 years as a mental health and addiction specialist. I completed diagnostic assessments and facilitated individual and group therapy sessions for mental health and addiction. From there, I began working at an inpatient behavioral health hospital and assisted patients there with acute mental health needs and helped to provide referrals for outpatient treatment. Since 2020, I have been working with clients doing individual therapy and have been growing my private practice. I find it rewarding to be able to work with clients long-term and get to know them as a person while meeting each individual where they are; what their struggles are, what their successes are, see progress they make in different areas of their lives, and develop a rapport that is respectful and supportive. I have been able to gain a great deal of experience over my 13 years with a very diverse background through promotion and advancement, in the mental health field, and those experiences help me to navigate my therapeutic approach to assist with being able to better serve clients while we are working together.
I am an adult adoptee with 20 years of experience working in the adoption space. I train prospective adoptive parents, and train mental health professionals in adoption competence. I am a parent, and a cat mom who loves to read and enjoys live theater. If you are looking at my profile, you are probably having some life difficulty. I was in your shoes years ago. Seeking therapy was the best decision I ever made. It helped me take control of my life.
I help people discover themselves, empower them with tools and knowledge, and help them heal. I help high-functioning people live their best life, unburdened by trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, performance issues, and more.

Hi, I’m Raven. I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor in Ohio. I work with teens and adults, especially college students and young adults, who are dealing with anxiety, ADHD-related challenges, perfectionism, and the pressure to keep it all together.
These concerns are personal to me, too. I’ve experienced anxiety, ADHD, and perfectionism, and I know what it’s like to place high expectations on yourself, work hard to do well, and still question whether you’re good enough. I also know what it’s like to struggle on the inside while keeping it together on the outside, so other people don’t realize how much you’re carrying.
Your experience may look different from mine, and I want to get to know your story. Maybe you replay conversations, feel overwhelmed by everyday tasks, or have a hard time giving yourself credit for anything. Maybe you’re tired of being so hard on yourself but aren’t sure how to stop.
My style is warm, supportive, and honest. I’ll listen, help you make sense of what’s going on, and gently challenge you when it could help. Together, we’ll find ways to manage what feels difficult, build confidence, and make changes that fit your life.
You don’t have to impress me or have the right words. Come as you are—we’ll figure out where to start together.
I would love to take this next step in your journey with you and support and encourage you along the way!

I help adults navigate life’s challenges and build healthier, more fulfilling lives. With graduate degrees in both social work and psychology, I combine a strong understanding of human behavior with a compassionate, down-to-earth approach.
Whether you’re facing stress, life transitions, or a desire for personal growth, I’m here to provide a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we’ll work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
If you’re ready to take the next step toward emotional well-being, I’m here to walk alongside you. Let’s begin your path forward together.
I go by Becky and have been working with children and families since 2004. I have provided many different kinds of case management and therapeutic services in my social work career.
I believe that wellness includes many factors of a person's life--mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Some of those things in your life might be in balance while other areas are not. You probably already have the ability to manage many situation or challenges with a combination of existing strengths and learned skills; we can add to those together.
My enjoy using play therapy. Through play child, families, and (yes!) adults can work through many issues in their lives. The best part is all the hard work doesn't feel like work. We learn skills by playing throughout our entire lives beginning with playing peek-a-boo; on the grade school play ground; sports and backyard games; as well as board games and card games with friends.
If playing isn't for you, I also provide the traditional "talk therapy" that most people are familiar. I received a specialization in Military Social Work during my master’s program at USC and have a passion for working with those, both children and adults, who have experienced trauma. Trauma can show up in a lot of different ways and look like many things. In counseling, we can use a combination of CBT, solution focused, and problem-solving therapy, along with Motivational Interviewing, trauma therapies, and Play Therapy when appropriate. Your plan, developed in your words, will be a great road map for reaching your desired destination. I would be honored to walk with you along that path.
Seeking help reflects the courage and drive that you already have within you.
I have been licensed as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor since 2004, and have held a supervision designation since 2015. I have also held a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with a supervision/training designation license since 2018. I have maintained a private counseling practice in Chillicothe since 2000, and I continue to work with individuals and families in that capacity. I have dedicated my career to helping others and to working with the community to ensure the well-being of families and children.
My most common theoretical approaches are Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Christian Therapy, but I am proud to be able to use a multitude of approaches, dependent on what works best for the client(s) involved.
I value the individual and the couple regardless of age or philosophical approach to their life or relationship. I see my goal of treatment as improving the individual or couple to be the best they want to be.
My communication tone or approach tends to be direct but laid back. We are in session to work together, not have me tell you what to do or where you need to go.

Whether the client is an individual or a couple, whether dealing with stress and anxiety, coping with grief and loss, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression, I have learned that humans want a better life and will work to get there. I will do my all to assist with you taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
I do work with clients here in a talking/coaching style.
I am a certified life coach as well and I will use my skills to assist you in any way, however, behind every conversation and response is a clinical therapeutic heartful approach.
