Welcome — I’m John Dyson, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC), based in the foothills of North Carolina.
I want you to take a moment to acknowledge that you’ve already taken the first step toward bettering your mental health. Let’s be honest — starting therapy can feel empowering, confusing, or even scary — sometimes all at once.
My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you can explore concerns related to anxiety, depression, and self-care. I focus on helping clients build assertive communication skills and healthy boundaries, both with themselves and with others, in ways that support a more balanced, fulfilling life.
Therapy is an opportunity for personal growth in whatever way you're seeking — whether that means navigating specific challenges or building the life you deeply deserve. If that’s what you’re looking for, I’m here when you’re ready.
Together, we’ll clarify the challenges you’re facing and identify where you want to be — a month, six months, or a year from now. Then, we’ll explore actionable strategies to help you move forward. You'll leave each session with a clearer understanding of your situation and a set of “next steps” you can begin right away.
There will always be space for feedback and collaboration in our work — including holding each other accountable as we walk this path together.
Welcome! I’m Galadriel, and I'm glad you're here. Taking the first step into therapy can feel daunting, but you don't have to walk the path alone. I am a licensed clinical social worker with experience in crisis response, trauma counseling, and guiding clients through life’s many challenging transitions. I use a blend of therapeutic techniques to help you explore the deeper patterns that shape your current actions and experiences, while helping you build practical skills to address daily struggles and begin to build the life you desire.
I believe therapy works best when we collaborate toward clear, meaningful goals. I am warm and compassionate, but I will ask the hard questions. I offer a safe space where you can explore what’s happening in your life, understand your internal world, and build tools that help you feel more stable, confident, and empowered. Whether you’re working through trauma, managing stress, or trying to make sense of a difficult transition, I’m here to support you and assist you along the journey.

These times are urgent. Let us slow down.” ― Bayo Akomolafe
Let's take things one breath at a time, slowing down instead of rushing through the hard parts. I don’t believe in fixing or solving everything all at once in the hopes it does not reoccur. Instead, I offer space for curiosity, vulnerability, and connection, because that’s often where healing begins. Together we’ll practice being with your experiences, not just getting past them.
I work with people facing all kinds of mental health and personal life challenges, and I especially love helping clients untangle old patterns and build new ones that feel more like them. My approach is relational and HUMOROUS, humanistic, honest, warm, and collaborative. I work mostly with teens and adults. Outside of therapy, I’m usually testing a new hairstyle, thrifting, listening to Afrobeats, or walking my dachshund, Winston-Bishop.

Hello, and welcome. I am Dr. Samuel Hickson, PhD, LCSW, a licensed psychotherapist, neuropsychotherapist, clinical researcher, educator, and healthcare consultant dedicated to providing evidence-based psychotherapy for adults. Hello, my name is Dr. Collins.
Are you experiencing emotional, psychological, spiritual, or other challenges that are interfering with your ability to live your best life?
My goal is to create a safe and compassionate space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
In our sessions, I prioritize building a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship. I believe in the power of empathy, active listening, and genuine understanding. Together, we will navigate the challenges you face and uncover your inner strengths and resilience.
Do you struggle with feeling bad about yourself, developing and /or maintaining healthy relationships with others? Do you feel down, depressed, feeling you let yourself or others down? Do you experience feelings of anxiety, stress, or trauma? Are these concerns impacting you at home, work, or other places?
Seeking therapy can be scary, however, you have made the right decision. I believe individuals are the "experts on themselves" and possess the ability to make the desired positive change in their lives.
In the session, we will utilize a Person Center Approach consisting of meeting the individual were they are, actively listening, providing support, encouragement, and validation, as well as utilizing Evidence -Based Treatment Modalities ( such Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Person Centered Approach, and Psychoeducation) Supportive Therapy, Stress Management, and Anger Management.
Together, we will work collaboratively to treat the whole person and empower the person to find their way forward.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with 30 years of experience in the mental health field and 14 years of experience operating my private practice. I support adults and couples experiencing anxiety, relationship distress, communication difficulties, parenting concerns, life transitions, diminished self-esteem, trauma-related concerns, and patterns that may be interfering with emotional well-being and healthier relationships.
In couples counseling, I provide a balanced and respectful environment where each partner has an opportunity to feel heard. I help couples recognize recurring patterns, improve communication, navigate conflict more constructively, rebuild emotional safety and trust, and strengthen their connection. My role is not to take sides, but to help both partners understand the relationship dynamic and take meaningful responsibility for the changes within their control.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients understand the connections among their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify beliefs and thinking patterns that may contribute to anxiety, depressed mood, diminished self-esteem, relationship distress, or ineffective coping.
Depending on the client’s needs, we may use guided reflection, thought records, structured exercises, role-playing, and between-session practice. With couples, CBT-informed strategies can also help partners examine assumptions, interpretations, expectations, and behavioral responses that contribute to recurring conflict. The goal is to develop greater awareness and practice healthier, more intentional responses.
My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices with carefully selected holistic strategies to support insight, emotional regulation, personal growth, and sustainable behavioral change. I meet each client with compassion, curiosity, and respect, helping them identify the underlying beliefs and patterns connected to their current concerns.

Hello there, I'm Heather. Are you experiencing anxiety, depression, or difficulty adjusting to life transitions? Are you noticing that things are overwhelming and more difficult to cope with because of the many stressors in life? Do you feel that you worry too much, are not good enough, or feel like you're stuck? Do you feel like you are all alone, that you have no one who really listens, understands you, or can relate to what you are going through? Well look no further because I specialize in alleviating anxiety, managing and overcoming depression, and adjusting to life transitions (such as parenting, relationship challenges, experiencing an empty nest, health issues, job loss, divorce, death of a loved one, or retirement.) I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in North Carolina, licensed to see clients in North Carolina working virtually, and I'm also licensed in California. I received my Masters from San Diego State University and have been practicing clinical social work for 21 years. I enjoy working with individual adults who are struggling navigating the stressors in life, and we would work together to get you unstuck as soon as possible so you can live a better life, on your own terms. Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I received my Masters from the University of Southern California and have been practicing for over 10 years. I help adults struggling with stress and mental health issues become the best versions of themselves. I am passionate about meeting people where they are at and helping them feel better and reach their goals.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, mentally unsteady, or unsure how to move forward — you don’t have to carry that alone.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate of North Carolina State University. I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, relationship stress, and questions of direction or purpose. Many of the people I support feel capable and motivated — yet internally worn down, struggling to feel grounded, present, or confident in themselves.
My primary focus is helping clients stabilize emotionally and mentally — so you feel more anchored, regulated, and clear. From that place of steadiness, we begin to explore how you can grow into the fullest version of yourself, making the most of your strengths, values, and lived experience rather than trying to become someone you’re not.
Therapy with me is not about pushing or fixing — it’s about creating a solid foundation where clarity, confidence, and meaningful change can naturally emerge. For those who find meaning and strength in their Christian faith, I welcome that as part of our work together — though spirituality is never required or assumed. You bring what matters to you, and we build from there.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Workerand Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist who has practiced for over 16 years, working with diverse populations on a range of issues. I have always seen it as an honor and a privilege that you have chosen me to be on this journey of self-discovery and self-mastery of whatever challenges you face. I believe you are not a "billing code" but an individual who dares to seek help to improve the quality of your life
You are stressed and filled with anxiety. Your thoughts are negative and you lack self-confidence. You feel so overwhelmed by emotions that you no longer know what you feel. Or maybe you are emotionally shutdown and just feel numb. Past traumatic events cause you to react to life in unhealthy ways. Intrusive thoughts keep distracting you from what you need to do each day. And you don’t understand why or how to change it.
If any of this sounds familiar, there is hope! It is possible to retrain your brain and to develop different ways of thinking about life. You can stop automatically reacting and learn to thoughtfully respond to stressors. I would love to work with you and help you better manage thoughts and stressful emotions.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy works best when it feels safe, supportive, and genuinely human. I bring warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for each person’s story into my work, and I value creating a space where clients feel comfortable showing up as they are. My approach is collaborative and practical, blending evidence-based practices with a holistic, person-centered lens that honors the whole individual. I am especially mindful of how relationships, life roles, and transitions shape emotional well-being, and I partner with clients at a pace that feels steady, respectful, and empowering.
Hi! I am an LCSW with 21 years of experience helping individuals, couples and families find practical solutions to complicated problems. I love helping people and bring a compassionate, realistic approach based on a trusting therapeutic relationship. I work with couples and families, help teens through their life transitions, and specialize in treating addictions, ADHD, anxiety disorders, and intimacy and sex issues.
Hi, I’m Megan! I’m a licensed therapist in New York, New Jersey, and North Carolina who helps people feeling burned out, anxious, or stuck in survival mode reconnect with balance and purpose. Many of my clients come to me after feeling overwhelmed by work, relationships, or the constant pressure to keep going — even when they’re running on empty.
I create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, make sense of what’s been weighing on you, and learn healthier ways to cope. My style is compassionate and collaborative — I meet you where you are and help you build practical tools for stress, boundaries, and self-care that actually fit your life.
Before starting my private practice, I worked in behavioral health settings supporting individuals living with substance use, bipolar disorder, and other chronic mental health conditions. That experience taught me that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all — and that real change happens when therapy feels safe, personalized, and empowering.
If you’re ready to move from burnout to balance, I’d love to help you take that next step.
I provide goal-directed, collaborative therapy focused on embracing change as both constant and certain. I am trained and skilled in Solution-Focused Therapy, a goal-oriented and collaborative approach that helps individuals identify and build on their strengths to create positive changes in their lives. This method emphasizes finding practical solutions and fostering resilience, empowering individuals to navigate challenges effectively. I believe that individuals are the experts of their own experiences and possess the inner strengths and resources to overcome barriers to wellness and happiness. While I guide and support individuals in building skills to manage challenges, set realistic goals, and boost personal resilience, the responsibility for meaningful change rests with you. Taking the first step to find a therapist is a remarkable act of courage and an important investment in your well-being. I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds via telehealth, focusing on concerns such as anxiety, chronic stress, fear, shame, perfectionism, and self-critical patterns. I typically check messages after 6:00 p.m. (EST) weekdays and will respond as promptly as I can. Feel free to review my calendar for available sessions. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey.
