LCSW, 12 years of experience
Hi! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist (C-DBT). Originally from Long Island, NY, I now call North Carolina home. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of South Carolina and have been practicing for over 13 years. I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s daily challenges, process difficult emotions, and build healthier coping strategies. My goal is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, develop resilience, and move toward a more balanced, fulfilling life.
In our first session, we’ll begin with brief introductions and rapport building before diving into the specific challenges you’re currently facing. This helps me better understand your needs and develop a personalized plan for our follow-up sessions. Most importantly, my goal is to truly see and hear you—the real, raw, and authentic you. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can let it all out and hopefully leave feeling mentally lighter and more hopeful about the possibility of change. If you don’t see a time slot that works for you, please feel free to reach out directly. I often have additional availability that I schedule separately.
I am a Therapist that enjoys thinking outside of the box. I'm not your typical "cookie cutter/textbook Therapist". I believe in taking different approaches for different people and I work WITH my clients and listen to their input and desires, in order to create a quality Care Plan. I enjoy being myself. I am fun, outgoing, empathetic, genuine and a very positive person. I have been told by past clients that people seem to connect better with me just by, "keeping it real and being honest".
Are you feeling stuck, lost, or overwhelmed? Do you often find yourself confused, defeated, or simply unsure how to move forward? You’re not alone—and things can get better. With the right support, guidance, and motivation, your quality of life can improve. I work with individuals from all walks of life and am especially passionate about supporting those navigating: • Anxiety and depression • Bipolar disorder • Women’s issues • LGBTQ+ identity and experiences • Life transitions and major changes • Grief and loss My goal is to help you break free from old patterns and create new, healthier ways of coping and thriving. While I will always listen with compassion, I also believe in providing actionable steps to help you make meaningful progress. And if at any point I am not the right fit, I will be honest and ensure you’re connected with a therapist who better matches your specific needs and goals.

Amazing, one of a kind, so happy I found her !
When working with clients my structured approach is from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) where the individual learns to explore the link between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. CBT approaches includes: cognitive restructuring, guided discovery, journaling (automatic thought record), relaxation, role playing, and behavioral activation activities.
Dialectical Behavior is a technique to better support clients experiencing anxiety symptoms and many other symptoms. DBT focuses on improving distress tolerance, emotional regulation, mindfulness, and interpersonal skills.
