Hello there, I'm Heather. Are you experiencing anxiety, depression, or difficulty adjusting to life transitions? Are you noticing that things are overwhelming and more difficult to cope with because of the many stressors in life? Do you feel that you worry too much, are not good enough, or feel like you're stuck? Do you feel like you are all alone, that you have no one who really listens, understands you, or can relate to what you are going through? Well look no further because I specialize in alleviating anxiety, managing and overcoming depression, and adjusting to life transitions (such as parenting, relationship challenges, experiencing an empty nest, health issues, job loss, divorce, death of a loved one, or retirement.) It's a common experience to face these life challenges, but when those issues start to take over your life, it's time to get the support you need by working through this with a counselor so you can live a more fulfilling life. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in North Carolina, licensed to see clients in North Carolina working virtually, and I'm also licensed in California. I received my Masters from San Diego State University and have been practicing clinical social work for 21 years. I have over 30 years experience working with clients in the areas of mental health, addiction, and crisis intervention in various healthcare settings. I have been offering therapy through telehealth since 2022 and find this works well for many clients. For the past 14 years I have also worked specifically with military veterans. I have a casual, "come-as-you-are" outlook and believe strongly in meeting clients where they are in their own therapy and life journey. I work from a non-judgmental and strengths based focus. I tend to be direct and forthright in offering feedback, and I am firmly grounded in accepting each individual's decisions about their own life and ways forward to reach their goals.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about helping clients work through trauma, anxiety, stress, and life transitions. My approach combines TF-CBT and DBT to provide practical tools, coping strategies, and insight that fit your unique needs. Therapy is an opportunity for personal growth in whatever way you're seeking — whether that means navigating specific challenges or building the life you deeply deserve. If that’s what you’re looking for, I’m here when you’re ready.
Together, we’ll clarify the challenges you’re facing and identify where you want to be — a month, six months, or a year from now. Then, we’ll explore actionable strategies to help you move forward. You'll leave each session with a clearer understanding of your situation and a set of “next steps” you can begin right away.
There will always be space for feedback and collaboration in our work — including holding each other accountable as we walk this path together.

Counseling Background:
As your counselor, I am here to support you in making meaning, creating comfort, and uncovering resources to help you be your best self. Taking an evidenced-based, client-centered, and existentially-informed approach, I aim to provide a safe and supportive space where we can collaborate and work at your own pace to help you reach your goals. I work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds on issues including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship challenges, grief and loss, career transitions, and other mental health and life concerns.
Along with the many benefits of counseling come risks. Since counseling often involves discussing unpleasant or uncomfortable aspects of your life, you may experience feelings such as sadness, guilt, anger, frustration, loneliness, shame, and/or helplessness. Counseling allows you to process your feelings and often leads to better relationships, solutions to specific problems, and relief from feelings of distress. There are no guarantees of what you will experience. In order for you to achieve the most benefit from counseling, you will have to be engaged in your therapy sessions, committed, and do work outside of therapy to meet your personal goals.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the State of North Carolina. I work with clients from ages 5 to 99+. I provide individual sessions and family sessions. I look forward to helping you help yourself. Travel alone, travel faster; travel together; travel farther.

I am person-centered and assist individuals with working towards their own personal goals. I work with individuals, couples, families, and groups to assist with the achievement of these goals. While I feel comfortable addressing any issue, I am always willing to refer to another provider if needed.
I am integrative in my approach to counseling and will use the interventions that will be most effective to address each difficulty that is presented. First rule of mental health: learn to distinguish who deserves an explanation, who deserves only one answer and who deserves absolutely nothing. -unknown
Mental health is not a destination, it is a journey. It is less about how you are driving and more about where you are going. I believe that mental health should be addressed just as often as physical health; maybe even more often!
Hi, I’m Tim Webb, LPC, LCMHC. I’ve been a behavioral health clinician 34 years with an undergraduate degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Masters degree in Counseling from Wake Forest University. I provide individual and family counseling services with a holistic and eclectic approach. As a former firefighter and Emergency Room clinician, I understand many of the unique experiences of both first responders and Veterans. A lifelong martial artist including some boxing experience, I enjoy weightlifting and spending time with my family.
Welcome! I am a depth-psychology and somatic-focused therapist with over 26 years of expertise practicing, teaching, and supervising others in the field. I work with women of every life stage. Clients value my non-pathologizing, heart-of-the-matter, clear, and supportive approach. I use proven tools to help women gain authentic emotional awareness, integrate and understand parts of themselves, heal suffering, and create more clarity and ease in their life. The work may include trauma recovery, DBT skills, ego parts work (similar to IFS), dreamwork, soul exploring, CBT, ecosomatic therapy, application of polyvagal theory, mindfulness meditation, nervous system attunement, EMDR for telehealth, and somatic healing. I work with both immediate crises and ongoing issues.
Reaching out for support can be challenging -- my focus is to make it as easy as possible. Women I work with are often seeking help with depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, chronic pain, PTSD, emotional abuse recovery, highly sensitive person needs, grief and loss, and finding deeper life purpose and career concerns.
My past career includes: clinical professor of social work, college campus therapist, mindfulness based stress reduction therapist at Duke Center for Living, integrative health center therapist helping support those with chronic stress, pain, and health issues, and years in private practice. Together, we create an environment for deepening your self-understanding, empowerment, and growth.
My approach is practical, focused on long-lasting change, and is based on the following premises: you are your own healer, all healing comes from your ability to understand and connect to your own deepest wisdom so you can integrate and understand, and the human spirit is resilient —when given proper practical attention and tools, you are able to call in your wholeness and integration.
My focus is to make the process of working together as easy as possible, and I hope you will reach out!
