New to Grow
I am a licensed clinical social worker and therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and resilience. I have experience supporting clients with trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and relationship concerns. My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative, integrating evidence-based practices with a focus on creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen and understood. I am passionate about helping clients build self-awareness, strengthen connections, and move toward a more balanced life.
In your first session, you can expect a welcoming, relaxed space where we begin getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, any current challenges you’re facing, and what you’re hoping to get out of the process. I may ask questions about your background, relationships, and emotional well-being to better understand the full picture of your experiences. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—this is your time, and we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. By the end of the session, we’ll begin to identify goals and discuss how we can work together in a way that feels supportive and aligned with your needs.
My strengths as a therapist lie in my ability to create a warm, grounded, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely seen and supported. I bring a thoughtful, intuitive approach to each session, balancing empathy with practical tools to help clients navigate challenges and make meaningful changes. I am skilled at building strong therapeutic relationships, fostering trust, and helping clients develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and confidence in themselves and their lives.
I support individuals who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected and are ready to move toward a more grounded and fulfilling way of living. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, trauma, mood concerns, or relationship challenges, and are seeking a space where they can slow down, gain insight, and reconnect with themselves. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in helping clients build self-awareness, strengthen relationships, and create lasting, meaningful change.
EMDR
I’m trained in EMDR and use it to help clients process difficult experiences in a way that feels safe and manageable. We always start by building tools to help you feel grounded and supported. From there, we move at your pace so the work never feels overwhelming.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients notice and gently challenge thoughts that may be contributing to stress or anxiety. We focus on building realistic, helpful ways of thinking and coping. Everything we do is tailored to what feels useful and manageable for you.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
ACT helps clients to create space from unhelpful thoughts and connect more deeply with their values. We explore ways to stay present and grounded, even during difficult moments. The goal is to support you in building a life that feels meaningful and authentic.
Motivational Interviewing
I incorporate motivational interviewing to support clients who feel unsure or stuck about making changes. We gently explore what matters to you and what might be getting in the way. The focus is on helping you build clarity and take steps that feel right for you.
Trauma Informed Care
Trauma-informed care guides how I show up as a therapist, with an emphasis on safety, trust, and respect. I’m attentive to your comfort and always invite your input in how we move forward. The focus is on helping you feel supported and empowered throughout the therapy process.
