Hi there. I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who has been practicing for 20+ years, serving both Massachusetts and Maine. I truly believe everyone can benefit from therapy and consider this work impactful to all. Beginning this journey is no easy feat as it's never easy to acknowledge or ask for help. I thoroughly enjoy working with women or are finding themselves "stuck", reeling after a break up, pondering if the relationship they are in is best suited for them. I have also focused on couples couseling-exploring new ways to reconnect, navigating a decision to no longer continue and the aftermath of divided homes with children. My approach is direct and action focused. I want to find the most efficient way to retrain your brain and try something new! I consider myself lucky to be the one to help you through your toughest moments and guide you to a path of mental well being. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and one of the things I value most about this work is helping people understand themselves with more compassion and less judgment. So often, we spend years believing that something is wrong with us because we feel too much, shut down, overthink, pull away, become overwhelmed, or struggle to feel safe and connected. I don’t see those experiences as evidence that you are broken. I see them as places worth becoming curious about. I believe that people make sense. Even the parts of us that confuse us. Even the reactions we wish we could change. Even the ways we cope that may no longer be helping us—or may sometimes hurt us. There is a reason we learned to respond the way we do. Sometimes the ways we cope can become painful, overwhelming, or difficult to understand. Anxiety, depression, hopelessness, grief, intense emotions, withdrawal, conflict, or other patterns may feel like something that needs to be fixed or eliminated. I believe it can be more helpful to first become curious about what these experiences are communicating and what purpose they may once have served. I don't believe therapy is about turning you into someone else. It's about helping you come home to yourself—to understand what has shaped you, recognize what is no longer serving you, reconnect with what matters, and make room for the life you actually want. You don't have to have everything figured out before you come in. You don't even have to know exactly what's wrong. I work with individuals and couples experiencing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, hopelessness, grief, communication difficulties, relationship challenges, and difficult or confusing emotional experiences. . I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II).

Tired of reading bios? I would be too, so I'll keep it short: I graduated from UPenn 10+ years ago with a Master's in Social Work. I have experience working in almost every setting you could imagine. I specialize in making people feel comfortable, safe, and validated. I specialize in treating my clients like they matter, are important & are worthy, no matter what they look like, sound like, or "seem" like. I'm also an expert in being a real human being and not a robot with automated responses who will "mhmm" you to death. My "approach" is understanding that I can't expect you to expose the deepest, darkest, most vulnerable parts of yourself to me if I remain a complete stranger to you. In our sessions, I want you to feel like you're with one of your best friends who you can trust, laugh and ugly-cry with. My only goal is to make you feel like you're not alone. Like you have someone in your corner who will fight for you, laugh with you, curse with you, and ugly-cry with you (I'm totally kidding, kinda, that part's negotiable).

I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, and life transitions — those moments when things feel unsteady and you're not quite sure how to move forward. My approach starts with building a warm, genuine relationship where you feel safe to explore what's really going on beneath the surface. From there, I bring in practical tools — often drawing on CBT and coping strategies — so you leave sessions with more than just insight, but real ways to manage day-to-day. As a parent myself, I understand how life's transitions can test us in ways we don't always expect, and I bring that same steadiness and practicality to the people I work with.

Hi! I am a therapist with 29 years of experience and love working with people to help become the best version of themselves. I form strong therapeutic alliances with the people I work with and help them find the path to feeling better about themselves and their lives. I am positive and supportive and work with people to be solution focused and to quickly learn to be more independent and to trust in themselves and the decisions they make. They will see me as their greatest cheerleader and advocate who is able to help them ask themselves the right questions to be able to make confident decisions on his/her or their own. I am also a CCTP (Certified Clinical Trauma Professional).

Prior to becoming an adjustment counselor I have worked in ABA, in schools as a support staff, and in a residential treatment center. My undergraduate degree is in Expressive Arts Therapy, which leans into creative processes to help in the therapeutic process. My graduate degree is in Mental Health Counseling with a School Adjustment Counseling certification. I enjoy working with clients to help support them in their healing, whatever that may look like.

During my career in social work I have provided extensive service to individuals and families in crisis. This attention has supported them through a variety of circumstances and issues such as; domestic violence, substance abuse, homelessness, poverty, mental illness, racial bias, sexual identity and sexual orientation. The assistance that I am able to give to these populations’ helped ease the societal alienation that they felt as a result of their personal experiences, The focus is to help clients break through the individual barriers work on goals that are realistic and provide a foundation of stability, and hope. I also can bring experience and skills to the agencies that assist them. My skills include the knowledge to complete a through multidimensional/functional assessment, carry a personal client caseload, counseling them in individual, groups and family settings. My advocacy skills are strong and help individuals navigate through complex systems while providing opportunities for resources to enter their lives, as a result of networking with other agencies. My goal is to support confidence within clients to develop independent living skills, teach advocacy for their own well-being and families and encourage them to utilize community services. These skills are transferable to other professionals in the field by aiding them through supervision and/or training.

You are capable, dependable, and often the person others rely on. But constant stress, worry, and responsibilities can leave you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, work-life imbalance, and difficulty setting boundaries. I also specialize in supporting professionals, caregivers, leaders, and high-achieving adults experiencing burnout and high-functioning anxiety. My approach is supportive, practical, and solution-focused, helping you gain clarity, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful change. With over 14 years of clinical experience across healthcare systems, private practice, and community settings, I understand how prolonged pressure and responsibility can quietly impact emotional well-being. My approach is warm, supportive, and grounded in helping clients slow down, reconnect with themselves, strengthen healthy boundaries, and build a more sustainable and balanced way of living — not just surviving.
