Hi, my name is Bradley Levy LICSW and have 20 years of experience in the field. Are there changes that either you want to or need to act upon? If things feel too difficult to change and you need guidance, support, direction, and empathic listening you might be a great candidate for individual therapy from me. What separates me from other clinicians is my versatility. Throughout my career, I have worked at every level of care and every population. From individual therapy/group therapy to intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization programs to being the clinical director at a locked psychiatric hospital, I have seen pretty much everything. My main objective in all cases is to try and build a trusting rapport/relationship in which no judgment is made and an atmosphere where one can feel safe talking about difficult issues, their current level or desire to change through motivational interviewing and CBT. Over the years I have come to develop areas of extreme expertise such as addiction (either oneself or a loved one), co-occurring disorders or dual diagnosis, dealing with any diagnosis from adjustment disorders to more complex or serious mental illness which includes major depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, and the conditions that fall within these categories. In addition, I can offer case management services, assist with paperwork, or find the right treatment if need a higher level of care.

I am a licensed clinical social worker, and have been working with people who wanted to make some changes in their lives for more than 25 years. Together we've focused on the variety of challenges they were experiencing - depression, anxiety, family or work stressors, relational and communication issues. I also work with people who have experienced trauma, or who have chronic medical conditions, as well as those who are in a difficult situation, or who have lost someone close to them. My counseling style is conversational and interactive, and incorporates a cognitive-emotional-behavioral, solution-focused, body-based approach. We work at a speed comfortable for you, and one that respects your values, your culture and beliefs, your goals. Everyone deserves support whether they are working to make changes in their life or deal with changes they didn't choose. If you've identified some areas in your life that might benefit from your attention and intervention, I'd like to work with and support you, too.

I’m excited to get to know you better! In the meantime, here’s a little about me, and my professional experience and training. I think one of the biggest challenges, after taking that first brave step of reaching out, is to find a good therapist that you connect with. In my twenty-plus years of experience, the therapeutic relationship is the principal reason that therapy “works” or “doesn’t work.” My therapeutic style focuses on first developing a strong therapeutic alliance in which you feel emotionally safe and heard without judgment. You’ve already come to the conclusion that something in your life is not working, and my task is to help you to identify the ways in which you’d like things to be different. From there, together we can create realistic, achievable goals that support those changes and move you toward the life that you deserve. I have a large repertoire of strategies and interventions, which include cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and motivational interviewing. Producing insights, strategies, and tools that you can use immediately is the goal of every interaction. I have extensive experience in trauma, anxiety, relationship issues (adult as well as parent-child), substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders. I have found that many people experiencing trauma or anxiety are helped by a combination of mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy. This teaches them how to tolerate their intense feelings and how to reframe unhelpful thought patterns that keep them stuck. On a personal note, I have been a LMFT since 1997 and have worked with a variety of clients in many different settings. I work Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Friday mornings. My latest appointment is 4:00PM ET When I’m not helping people, I can usually be found on the golf course. I look forward to helping you to make the changes you desire.

*Action-oriented Therapist* Most anxiety and depression evolve from procrastination, which leads to inaction. I have the ability to help people who are looking to take action on their goals which require behavioral change. Change becomes natural once a person understands their unintentional programming from childhood and decides to work on their discipline. Discipline is simply your ability to prioritize the needs of your "future" self ahead of your "present" self. I do not prescribe medication; however, I can refer you to a Grow Provider if need be. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Massachusetts and I love helping people reach their maximum potential! I spent 23 years in the military travelling the world before I retired and decided to commit the rest of my life toward helping others. I have been providing therapy successfully for over eight years with many successes for clients who are looking to do the work necessary to live their best life. You can read my reviews on healthgrades.com that have been posted by former clients. If you are ready to put in the effort, you will make progress!

My name is Nadine Thompson, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I earned my Master of Social Work degree, specializing in Clinical Practice, from Smith College School of Social Work in 1991. I also have post-graduate certification in Addiction counseling, multicultural practice, DBT, and Couples and Family Therapy. I've worked in many different settings with individuals and families who have a variety of personal issues such as depression/anxiety, stress, family problems, trauma/abuse, addiction, relationships/parenting, and more. Over the past 30 years as a clinician, my experience has taught me that the most important aspect of counseling by far is the rapport, connection, and comfort you feel with your therapist. Recently, I have come to really see the value in being able "to hold space" for clients to express their deepest feelings and possibly find the answers and direction that they need as they become more self-aware. We all want to be able to share our personal truths and be accepted and understood. I believe in the power of “telling our stories”, as a pathway to healing and resilience. Our work together may include you being able to see yourself and those around you more clearly and develop tools and strategies for creating change in your life.

Hi All, My name is Linda, and I have a deep passion for helping folks grow to the heights they want to achieve. I have been a therapist for years, and have spent a great deal of time helping those who have experienced trauma. I love working with people and have a special place in my heart for the Arts and Music. For many years I owned a woodcraft and ceramic business and continue to keep crafts close to me. I also love music and love to play the organ, piano, and guitar. I was a non-traditional student and received my bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology in 1996 from East Stroudsburg University, then raised my own three children for a while. I returned to school and completed my master's degree in Social Work in 2020 from Capella University. I currently hold an LCSW in PA. I have taken many additional trainings in Trauma-informed counseling, DBT, EMDR, and of course crafts/painting. Helping folks care for themselves is extremely important in life’s struggles, and sharing the heart's desires helps us all navigate the world. It is with great anticipation that I get to know the uniqueness of you in a holistic environment where we can work on reaching the heights of your passion. I hope all my folks find me supportive and comforting on their journey in life. We can do this! See you soon!

Hi there! Many of us struggle in silence to overcome the challenges we face, but you no longer have to face that battle alone. From someone who has had their own personal struggles with mental health, I want you to know that you are not alone. I strive to create a space for you to feel seen, heard, and safe. As someone who has been to therapy, I understand how difficult it can be to take that next step. Finding the right therapist can be hard. Finding someone to support you, challenge you, and hold space for the things most people in our life have no idea we are facing. I would be honored to be that space for you. I hope we can work together to help you reach your goals. While the first step is acknowledging the change you need, it takes courage to recognize you need some guidance. It takes even more courage to initiate those first steps towards improving your life.

I’m a licensed psychotherapist working with adults who may appear high-functioning on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally unsettled beneath the surface. Many of the individuals I work with are navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, self-doubt, or persistent patterns they can’t quite untangle on their own. My style is thoughtful, steady, and insight-oriented. I integrate practical tools for emotional regulation with deeper exploration of relational patterns and attachment dynamics. I believe therapy should feel both grounding and meaningful — a place where you can slow down, understand yourself more clearly, and begin shifting patterns that no longer serve you. Clients often describe me as calm, direct, and attuned. I aim to create a space that feels safe enough for honesty and structured enough for real change. My work focuses not only on reducing symptoms, but on building emotional clarity, stability, and more secure ways of relating — to others and to yourself. Hi, I’m Brooke, a licensed therapist who helps adults find relief from anxiety, heal from trauma, and navigate the transitions that life inevitably brings. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative . I want you to feel comfortable, understood, and supported from the very beginning. I primarily draw from CBT, ACT, and EMDR, but I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I get to know you as a person so that we can tailor therapy to what works best for you. Clients often describe me as “calming,” and I think that reflects the kind of space I try to create : one where you can let your guard down, explore what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin to move toward real change. I became a therapist because I know what it’s like to suffer and I believe that no one should have to stay stuck in pain or face it alone.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with complex and high acuity mental health needs. My work is grounded in trauma informed and trauma responsive care, with a strong commitment to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent clients, and individuals in rural communities. I work across the lifespan, including children (7+), adults, older adults, families, and couples. My approach is collaborative and empowering, centered on the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives and require my clinical expertise. I often describe my role as “working myself out of a job” to help clients build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to advocate for themselves and navigate systems independently. As a trauma specialist, I tailor evidence based interventions to each client’s identities, needs, strengths, and goals. My primary approaches include Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)-(EMDRIA certification pending), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I also integrate Internal Family Systems informed interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, exposure based strategies, mindfulness, and other approaches as clinically appropriate. I adapt treatment for neurodivergent clients and clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities because therapy should adjust to the person and not require the person to adjust to therapy. I am continually shaped by the courage, insight, and lived experiences clients bring into our work. Every advanced training, specialty, certification, and state license reflect lessons learned from clients. I carry their trust, stories, and influence into every session with gratitude and responsibility. Hi there, welcome. It is wonderful to see you are taking the first step to connect with a therapist. My style is casual and client centered. Clients set their own goals as I support them in feeling heard, safe and an equal part of the therapy process. Our focus would be to identify areas of difficulty, build on the strengths you already have, identify triggers and learn coping strategies to help ease symptoms that may be impacting day to day life. I believe in the importance of meeting people where they are and providing non judgmental, open connections. My clients are adult women who identify with one or more of the following: family conflict, estrangement, caregiver, grief, aging, hospice, anxiety, caring for neurodivergent children, parenting and/or chronic medical illness.

For most of my adult life I have had the privilege of helping others navigate challenges, make meaningful changes, and move forward in their lives. Along the way life has happened to me, too. I have experienced loss, grief, life transitions, and family conflict, and I understand that sometimes even the strongest among us need support finding our way through difficult seasons. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, what I bring to the professional relationship is true life experiences, not just professional training, and a genuine understanding of how complex life can be. I work with adults of all ages who are ready for change, and yet, may not be quite sure where to begin. My approach is down-to-earth, curious, compassionate, and focused on making our time together meaningful or forward focused.

Hello, my name is Luiza and I am the owner/therapist of FIT MIND counseling services. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in FL & MA and a Licensed Professional Counselor in DC, GA & VA. I am from Brazil, and I speak Portuguese as well :) I can understand Spanish pretty well too, but I do not speak fluently. FIT MIND counseling services enjoys empowering clients finding a more meaningful way to live their lives and assisting them learning about the importance of self-love. Helping clients to focus on themselves and on their self-care is a precious thing. When they learn to embrace and unconditionally love for being themselves, they become stronger in the face of negativity and more able to hold onto positive thoughts when faced with challenges. Mental illness is as real as any physical illness. We talk normally about cancer and diabetes, although the same should apply to mental illness. Emotional and mental health are just as important as the physical health of a human being. The emotional trauma that a brain endures in various of the human life cycle can be damaging and in the long run, just as detrimental as a psychical illness. People donate their organs, but they cannot donate their brains. Some people live with human-made hearts, but there is no such thing as human-made brains. I believe that our brain is the most important organ in our human body, so why don’t we start taking good care of it? Therapy is not only for people with mental illness. Therapy is for everyone. We all have faced or currently face some hardships in life. Talking to a therapist can help you deeply in improving your mental health, decrease your stress and live with more joy and intention! Hi! I’m really glad you’re here. If you’re feeling anxious, low, or stuck in patterns that are hard to break, whether it's around your emotions, relationships, or day-to-day life, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. I’m currently accepting new clients, and I’d be honored to walk alongside you in this part of your journey. I work with people who are tired of just getting through the day and wondering if things will ever feel easier. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or like you’re carrying too much on your own, therapy can be a place to finally exhale. I offer a space where you can be real, slow down, and start sorting through what’s been weighing you down. My style is warm, honest, and supportive. I’ll meet you where you are, and together we’ll gently explore what’s behind the stress, heaviness, or patterns that keep showing up. Healing doesn’t happen overnight, but with the right support, meaningful change is possible. If any of this resonates with you, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to answer any questions and help you feel more at ease about starting therapy. I look forward to meeting with you and being part of your healing journey!
