Hi, I’m Marie — a therapist who believes that change is always possible, no matter where you are in life. My goal is to help you feel better emotionally, think more clearly, and move toward a future that feels fulfilling and peaceful.
In our sessions, we’ll work together to understand what’s been holding you back and find practical ways to move forward. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you notice how your thoughts affect your emotions and actions—and teach you tools to shift negative thinking. I also use a solution-focused approach, which means we’ll focus on your strengths, celebrate what’s working, and create small, realistic steps that bring real progress.
I often work with adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, or major life changes—like adjusting after a loss, a new diagnosis, or changes that come with getting older. My approach is supportive and empowering. I want you to feel heard, encouraged, and equipped with the tools to handle life’s challenges with more confidence and hope.

Hello. I am a follower of Jesus Christ, and I'm also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Illinois. I have worked in the field of Social Work for 25 years at the Bachelor's level, including case management for at-risk youth, CPS investigations and medical social work. I received my Master's of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville and have been practicing five years. We work to recognize triggers/barriers to successful living and then learn to effectively reframe these in order to be a better version of yourself.
Hello, I'm Sarah. I'm a licensed clinical social worker who works with adults virtually in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. I strive to be easy to talk to, and I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without pressure, judgment, or needing to have everything figured out.
My practice is collaborative, down-to-earth, and centered on what matters most to you. We’ll make room for whatever you’re carrying, whether it’s stress, relationship challenges, big life changes, old patterns that keep showing up, or simply the feeling that something needs to shift. I’ll listen closely, help you make sense of what’s going on, and support you in finding practical ways to move forward.
I want our work to feel real and useful—not overly clinical or one-size-fits-all. Together, we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you, build on your strengths, and create space for more clarity, confidence, and self-trust.

I'm John Warner and I'm looking forward to working with you. I'd like you to acknowledge this step that you have taken to reach out. It takes motivation, insight, and courage to seek changes in your life.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Louisville, Kentucky and I specialize in working with people who are either struggling with Substance Abuse or Mental Health issues, or who are trying to support a Loved One who is struggling with these issues, and feels overwhelmed by the circumstances.
I provide a safe and supportive environment for you to explore the issues that are concerning you now. I believe that you are the expert on the things that do and don't work in your life but when life becomes overwhelming, we can sometimes lose sight of these skills and knowledge. I have found that many people often underestimate how much they know about themselves and others, and underestimate the strength that they posess to cope with and overcome the struggles that they experience. much more about themselves than they give themselves credit for, and I see part of my role as helping you unlock this knowledge and apply it in your life in ways that work best for you.
While there may be times that you feel like you are not making progress, you will find that you are making more progress than you realize. We sometimes have more difficulty seeing the progress and positive qualities than we do in others. I will help guide you to see the strength and goodness that you possess and help you to see that the overall arc of our lives bends towards improvement

During trying to conceive, pregnancy and the postpartum period, women and new moms are faced with all kinds of intense challenges. Between fluctuating hormones, adjustments to motherhood, and the risk of postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, there could be a number of issues that women face during the perinatal journey. I am committed to working with women and providing them support as they navigate these uncharted waters of motherhood. Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders affect 1 in 5 to 7 moms. You are not alone. With support and help, you can be healthy and enjoy a rich and meaningful life.
I am certified through Postpartum Support International in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. This training offered me insight to using interpersonal and CBT therapeutic techniques to work with clients who are struggling with adjustments to parenthood, as well as serious mental health issues that can arise during pregnancy or the postpartum period.

Good Karma to all....
My identity and therapy practice are highly intertwined as I always say "I am a human before I am a therapist". Yes I went to college and got a big degree but my general desire for my clients is for them to feel like they are sitting with an authentic human who has "been there before". I moved from my home in Eastern KY Appalachia to Louisville in 2019. Having this experience has shown me that there ain't much difference in the suffering people have in the country and the city. I believe that our current society and systems all too often force people into hard spots and then tell them to pull themselves up and keep it pushing. My goal in therapy is to slow things down to normalize for you that we are not working on "what's wrong with you" but instead "what happened to you". This allows you to feel safe enough with me to share the parts of your life/mental that even you don't want to address. That is when you start healing. Cause once you feel seen and supported, you feel empowered enough to figure out how YOU want to live (not how you have been told to). I describe this whole process as you are driving the car and I am riding "shot gun" just pointing things out and making suggestions! I find that my unconditional acceptance of clients, use of real world humor/experiences, and gently pushing for change allows us to start building the skills and strategies you need to live in this world as an authentic you. Another favorite saying of mine is "it's your world my guy I'm just living in it"!

The one question I get most often by clients and peers is: Why did you go into the counseling profession? My response is always the same. First, I have always had a desire to help people in a time of need or distress. I have felt this way as far back as high school. Secondly, I went through a debilitating anxiety disorder in my mid-twenties. I know first-hand the helplessness and desperation mental and emotional pain causes. I never condone a therapist sharing with a client, they know how the client feels unless they themselves have experienced a similar type of pain. Lastly, I believe in the power of counseling and the benefits it can offer. Counseling is very different from medicine. Counseling requires the client to be actively involved in the process of healing and growth rather than taking medication and waiting for it to work. Counseling empowers a client to by allowing them to see their progress towards the life they desire on a daily, weekly, and even monthly basis.

Welcome. I’m a combat veteran and retired Army officer, Christian, husband, father, grandfather, and experienced clinical psychologist. I want to get into the root causes of your struggles or battle and find ways to overcome, change, forgive, accept, and move upward toward the light. It may not seem like it, but the darkness will eventually lift, and the light will surely shine again.
Life is a battle in the heart, and I humbly accept that I will be in my own battle or someone else’s battle for the rest of my life. Like the weather, our emotions are powerful. Many days the sun shines, but the rains do come and sometimes a destructive storm hits hard (divorce, the loss of a loved one, cancer, suicidal thoughts, et cetera). It's a battlefield. When it comes to the challenge of relationships, so often, it is ego (wounded pride), self-esteem, and powerful emotions at the root of our conflicts. To understand these forces is the key to peace. Let's work through it!
I have been honored to be in the field of psychology for 22 years since 2004. Through the years, more than half of my time was in the Army where I primarily worked with soldiers enduring anxiety, depression, trauma, Traumatic Brain Injury, and all the other usual suspects of psychological distress. It was a time well for the analysis of guilt, fear, worry, shame, pain, heartbreak, addiction, identity conflicts, and sorrow. I’ve also worked in the prisons for many years with some extreme situations (i.e., murder, severe mental illness, rape, child molestation, drug kingpins, gang leaders). So, no matter what your circumstances are, never quit and never give up! Survival is a noble plight!

Hello, my name is Ginger Van Meter.
I look at each individual as an iceberg! There's a tiny piece of ice you can see on the surface but down below and much deeper is a giant piece of ice that no one can see. That giant piece of ice represents all the stressors, emotional and mental health concerns that go back many years. Sometimes childhood trauma or even current events can create problems that we just can't seem to solve.
I will help you to break that ice down and possibly even melt the ice. I always strive to do the best I can do to provide relief and comfort and help life become more manageable.

Welcome, I am glad you're here. Reaching out for help can be scary and I applaud you taking this first step.
My approach with therapy is to provide a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, where you can talk openly, feel heard and begin to work through what has been weighing on you. I see therapy as a collaborative effort to find what works for you to feel stronger, more balanced and ultimately, more connected to what matters most to you in a world that often seems "un-connected".
