Welcome — I know reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you’ve spent a long time feeling misunderstood, emotionally exhausted, stuck in unhealthy patterns, or unsure how to move forward.
Many of my clients come to therapy struggling with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship stress, self-worth issues, attachment wounds, or feeling disconnected from themselves and the people around them. Some are navigating conflict, betrayal, burnout, identity concerns, or simply feeling “stuck” despite trying hard to hold everything together.
My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, understood, and challenged in a healthy way. I take a compassionate but active approach to therapy — helping clients not only process emotions, but also understand their patterns, regulate their nervous system, and build practical tools for lasting change.
You do not have to figure everything out alone.

Hi, I am honored you are taking time out of your busy day to consider me as your therapist. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania and Kentucky. I received my Masters in Social Work from Marywood University and have been practicing for 20+ years.
I assist individuals like you — thoughtful, resilient, and ready to face the hard things, even when they feel confusing or uncertain - through empathy, compassion, and challenge.
My name is Swan Roberts. I am a licensed therapist, LCSW (licensed clinical social worker). I love helping people through my work and I have been doing this for 6 years. I decided to become a therapist because I had a therapist that helped me ease through the transition of getting out medically from active duty army service, which inspired me to follow this career path. It takes courage to make the decision of facing the things that are causing you turmoil, including trauma, and I am glad you are here. I look forward to meeting you and help you transform your life through healing evidence based interventions: EMDR, IFS, SE, & CBT.
After trauma, you may be overthinking, hypervigilant, anxious in relationships, struggling with people pleasing, and not feeling confident or competent even if you can rationalize that you are. With EMDR, IFS, and SE, I can help you trust yourself and feel more calm believing your resiliency and strength, to live your life fully.
It is truly rewarding helping people heal from trauma, to see their lives, and relationships transform as symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder are replaced by confidence, security, empathy, and compassion. It is possible to heal and enjoy your life again, even for the first time.
You are invited to create the life you desire and deserve! Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, feeling overwhelmed, and feeling powerless to coping with life? Please know these feelings are present to warn that your attention is needed. I am an LISW, Licensed Independent Social Worker, with over 15 years experience providing clinically sound, creative, and holistic therapy services. I will partner with you in a safe, accepting, and non-judgmental setting that promotes growth and change. Happiness is something we all talk about and want dearly. The road to happiness is through being authentic, setting boundaries with yourself and others, and taking care of you. Getting the help you need is a form of Self Care. Let me help you find happiness!

Welcome. I’m a combat veteran and retired Army officer, a devout Christian, husband, father, grandfather, and experienced clinical psychologist. I want to get into the root causes of your struggles or battle and find ways to overcome, change, forgive, accept, and move upward toward the light. It may not seem like it, but the darkness will eventually lift, and the light will surely shine again.
Life is a battle in the heart, and I humbly accept that I will be in my own battle or someone else’s battle for the rest of my life. Like the weather, our emotions are powerful. Many days the sun shines, but the rains do come and sometimes a destructive storm hits hard (divorce, the loss of a loved one, cancer, suicidal thoughts, et cetera). It's a battlefield. When it comes to the challenge of relationships, so often, it is ego (wounded pride), self-esteem, and powerful emotions at the root of our conflicts. To understand these forces is the key to peace. Let's work through it!
I have been honored to be in the field of psychology for 22 years since 2004. Through the years, more than half of my time was in the Army where I primarily worked with soldiers enduring anxiety, depression, trauma, Traumatic Brain Injury, and all the other usual suspects of psychological distress. It was a time well for the analysis of guilt, fear, worry, shame, pain, heartbreak, addiction, identity conflicts, and sorrow. I’ve also worked in the prisons for many years with some extreme situations (i.e., murder, severe mental illness, rape, child molestation, drug kingpins, gang leaders). So, no matter what your circumstances are, never quit and never give up! Survival is a noble plight!
