About me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who offers a warm, real, judgment-free space. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe being yourself. My style is down-to-earth, caring, and practical. We’ll talk openly, explore what’s weighing on you, build on your strengths, and find tools that fit your life, your needs, your goals, and who you are right now.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

You don’t need to know where to start, have the right words, or tell me your whole life story on day one. We’ll spend some time getting to know each other, talk about what brought you to therapy and what you’d like to be different, and begin figuring out what would actually be helpful to you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring warmth, authenticity, humor, and a practical approach to therapy. I’ll meet you where you are and give you space when you need it, but I’m also not afraid to gently challenge you when I notice patterns that may be keeping you stuck. My goal is for you to feel genuinely heard while also leaving our sessions with greater insight, practical tools, and a clearer sense of how to move forward.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, stressed, or simply ready for change. You may be navigating relationships, life transitions, past experiences, or patterns you want to understand. You don’t need to have it all figured out. Just come willing to talk, reflect, learn, and take small steps toward feeling more like yourself again each and every day.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help you make room for difficult thoughts and emotions without letting them control your choices. Together, we’ll identify what matters most to you, notice patterns that keep you feeling stuck, and work toward actions that better align with your values and the life you want to build.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful thought patterns, look at situations from new perspectives, and develop practical ways to respond differently. The goal isn’t simply to “think positive,” but to build healthier patterns that feel realistic and useful in your everyday life.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT skills to help you manage intense emotions, cope with stressful situations, improve relationships, and respond rather than react when emotions run high. We’ll practice practical strategies you can use in everyday life to feel more grounded, communicate more effectively, set healthy boundaries, and make choices that support your goals.

Motivational Interviewing

Change can be hard, especially when part of you wants something different and another part isn’t quite ready. I use Motivational Interviewing to help you explore those mixed feelings without judgment or pressure. Together, we’ll identify what matters to you, strengthen your confidence, and find realistic steps toward changes that feel meaningful and achievable.
