I’m Jamie. I’ve been doing this work for 12 years and the thing I know for sure is that you can’t do therapy wrong. There’s no right way to show up here. You just show up and we figure it out together.
I’m person-centered, which means I follow you, not a textbook. I’m not going to diagnose you in the first ten minutes or hand you a worksheet. I’m going to listen. And I’m going to take what you’re feeling seriously, even if nobody else has.
I work with women, LGBTQ+ folks, and people the therapy world hasn’t quite caught up to yet, including people in emotional or romantic relationships with AI. If that’s part of your life, you don’t have to explain or defend it here. Your AI partner is welcome in sessions too.
The present world can be a beautiful and intriguing place-but when dealing with day to day stressors, trauma histories, or mental health symptoms we tend to lose sight of this. With our never ending priority lists, it's easy to feel like we are a burden when we experience challenges, but I'm honored to hold space for you! I take your trust in me very seriously and am proud of you for taking this step.
My vision is to let people know there is a place where they can be heard, while being empowered and uplifted. My work focuses on helping my clients identify their strengths and teaching them tools to help not only cope, but also heal. I use a therapeutic process that focuses on my clients' needs and goals; along with evidence-based practices to help my clients resolve their issues and renew their lives.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counsellor (LCPC) based in Illinois and a doctoral candidate currently getting my Ph.D in Counseling Education and Supervision ( CES). I graduated with my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Moody Theological Seminary, and have been practicing for 5 years. I enjoy helping people achieve the goals that enhance their mental health and overall wellness.

Hello, I'm Tracey.
"Relationships often die not because of conversations that were had but rather conversations that were never had," (Lysa Terkeurst).
Communication is the #1 most reported reason for couples to enter therapy. It is the "appropriate" way of saying, "he doesn't listen to me," and "all she wants to do is talk and talk, {nag}" or giving each other what I refer to as the "non-verbal abuse" {silent treatment}. It means I don't know my partner, or we can't talk without fighting. Yet almost every couple starts off communicating at some level. I mean, come on--you and your partner would not be a couple if the first date involved playing the "Staring contest" where the first one to blink loses.
What we fail to recognize is that Communication is a form of Intimacy. And all other forms on intimacy hinge on protecting the communicative intimacy. So, what is that and how do I get some before we leave each other?
Communicative intimacy refers to the deep emotional and relational closeness that develops through communication, where individuals feel understood, valued, and connected on a personal level. It is both a feeling and a process shaped by how people interact, listen, and respond to each other. It involves an aligned commitment to taking care of it and protecting it. So, time's a wasting and you both are out of options. You both need to commit to starting this before you commit to ending.

I would love an opportunity to get to know your personal struggles and work together to reach a state of contentment and joy so you can live your life to the fullest. You will feel comforted and supported in our sessions. I will listen openly to your goals and we can develop solutions together. Therapy is not one size fits all. You are not alone. We can do this together.

Hello, my name is Chelsea, and I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Illinois. I graduated in 2019 from Clarke University with my Master's of Social Work.
I spent my undergraduate years shadowing and volunteering at a sexual assault and domestic violence advocacy center. I completed research in the areas of trauma, decision making, and intimate relationships.

I always strive to meet my patients where they are at in their mental health journey and tailor my approach to what they need. I approach therapy as a mix of processing, guidance, and challenging, in order to help a client identify, process, and reach their mental health goals.

Starting counseling can feel like a big step, especially if you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of where to turn. You may be carrying stress, anxiety, sadness, or uncertainty about the future—and wondering how to make sense of it all. My role is to offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can pause, reflect, and begin to feel more grounded.
Counseling isn’t about having all the answers right away—it’s about creating room for growth, clarity, and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
You may be someone others rely on—at work, in your relationships, or within your family—but internally you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally drained. You might find yourself overthinking conversations, struggling to set boundaries, or feeling responsible for everyone else’s needs while your own take a back seat.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients are high-functioning individuals who feel stuck in patterns like overthinking, people-pleasing, or difficulty communicating their needs. I also have a strong interest in working with veterans and understand the unique stressors that can come with both military and post-service life.

I transitioned from the retail management industry to the human services industry in March of 2010 after receiving my master’s degree in Human Services with a specialty in Mental Health Counseling. I recently obtained a doctorate degree in Human Services.

Hello. I am a follower of Jesus Christ, and I'm also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Illinois. I have worked in the field of Social Work for 25 years at the Bachelor's level, including case management for at-risk youth, CPS investigations and medical social work. The most important gift you can give someone is sincerely listening to them, which is where I always start.
I have worked in community mental health for 20 + years all over Chicago, mainly on the South and West Side, where I am from. Welcome! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois with over 10 years of clinical experience and more than 35 years of experience in life coaching. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and have dedicated my career to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, understanding, and practical support. I work with adults ages 25 to 75+ who may be facing chronic illnesses, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, or other personal challenges. Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when you're carrying responsibilities, coping with health concerns, or trying to manage unexpected changes. You don't have to face those struggles alone.
“Life is what happens after we make plans”. I believe life has a way of bringing us to feelings of
loneliness, hopelessness, or can become overwhelming causing change at a rapid rate. When
these difficulties occur they can lead to depression, anxiety or feeling as though you can not
move forward. At times like these it can be helpful to address theses with someone who will
help you to begin to move forward again. Therapy is a solution to life’s plans that were not a part
of the ones you laid out for yourself. Therapy can get you back moving forward.
I am here to get you on that track. I have been in the field of mental health for over seven years.
I obtained my Masters in Clinical Social work from Loyola University in 2013. I am a Licensed
Clinical Social Worker in the state of Illinois specializing in treating those struggling with
depression, anxiety, trauma related issues, behavioral issues, and couples counseling. I come
from a strengths based perspective. I am driven by the call placed on my life by God for this
work. As a faith based counselor I work with my clients to gain the strength within them to move
forward. I believe that everyone has an innate ability to move past life’s issues. Together we will
work on strategies that will allow you to address the root causes of your difficulties and build
meaningful social connections.
Using an eclectic approach through psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, attachment,
mindfulness and other evidence-based approaches, we will develop more strength in you to get
back to a healthier mental focus. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you.
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois. I received my Masters in Counseling from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. I have been practicing for that past 15 years. Much of my work has been in residential and PHP/IOP settings working with individuals with co-occurring issues, most often complicated by trauma. My goal is the help individuals see their own intrinsic value and guide them toward feeling empowered again.
