About me

Welcome! I'm glad that you're here! You are taking an important and courageous first-step towards a better you. I am passionate about helping people navigate life’s ups and downs and discover meaningful, lasting change. I believe therapy should be a collaborative and empowering process, where you feel supported, understood, and truly heard. My approach is client-centered and rooted in empathy, which means I meet you where you are and tailor our work to fit your unique needs and goals. Because no two people are the same, I use an eclectic blend of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you recognize and reshape unhelpful thought patterns, Client-Centered Therapy to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space for growth, and Brief Solution-Focused Counseling to help you identify strengths and take practical steps forward. This flexibility allows me to adapt our sessions to what works best for you, whether you’re seeking tools to manage stress, improve relationships, or create positive changes in your daily life. Above all, my goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel comfortable being yourself and confident that you don’t have to go through life’s challenges alone.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my priority is to create a safe and welcoming space where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brought you to therapy, and identifying the goals you’d like to work toward. I’ll also explain how therapy works, review confidentiality, and share more about my approach so you know what to expect from our work together. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet; this is simply the starting point, and we’ll build the process together. By the end of our first session, you’ll have a clearer sense of how therapy can support you and what our next steps will look like.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Much of my career has been dedicated to working with children and adolescents, which has shaped me into a therapist who is patient, empathetic, and highly adaptable. Supporting younger clients has strengthened my ability to listen deeply, build trust quickly, and explain complex ideas in ways that feel approachable and practical. For adults, this means I bring not only clinical expertise, but also a supportive, down-to-earth approach that makes it easier to navigate difficult emotions, relationship challenges, or life transitions. My background allows me to meet clients where they are, whether they need a compassionate space to be heard, concrete tools for managing stress, or guidance in moving toward personal and professional goals. Ultimately, my greatest strength is my ability to connect with my clients so that together we can create meaningful steps toward healing, growth, and lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with both teens and adults who are navigating life’s challenges and seeking meaningful change. Whether you’re facing a big transition, struggling with mental health, experiencing relationship difficulties, or needing support in reaching your goals, my approach is empathetic, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. Many of my clients come to me with concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, or difficulty adjusting to major life changes. Together, we work to build resilience, develop practical strategies for healing, and create a path forward that feels right for you. I also enjoy supporting clients who are motivated to work toward personal or professional goals. Whether it’s building confidence, staying focused, or finding clarity in the next steps of life, I provide guidance and encouragement along the way. Above all, I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel understood, empowered, and ready to move toward the growth you’re seeking.
