Hi, I’m Angela. I understand that reaching out for support is often the hardest part of the journey, especially when you feel life is heavy or uncertain. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are, whether you are navigating the complexities of recovery, the weight of grief, or the shifting transitions of midlife. Since 2016, I have focused my career on supporting adults through the challenges of substance use, working across all levels of care, including detox, residential, and medication-assisted treatment.
As both a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Addiction Counselor, I have invested significant additional education and clinical hours specifically in the field of addiction. I believe it is important to work with a therapist who focuses on these patterns, as alcohol and substance use rarely exist in isolation. They are often intertwined with anxiety, codependency, trauma, and relationship stress. In our sessions, we will explore how these challenges impact one another and work toward your specific goals for change, whether that involves moderation or choosing abstinence.
I am also passionate about supporting women navigating the challenges of perimenopause and menopause. This stage of life frequently brings a surge of symptoms such as irritability, brain fog, and anxiety where you might find yourself drinking more than you intended just to get through the day. I offer a nonjudgmental space to address these symptoms, helping you develop healthier ways to cope so you can feel like yourself again.
My practice is built on a foundation of grace, respect, and the belief in the inherent dignity of every individual. I provide a supportive environment where we can work through the messiness together to build a life that aligns with your true values and goals.
Navigating grief and life transitions are integral parts of the therapeutic journey. Coping with loss, whether it's the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or other significant changes, can be incredibly challenging. Similarly, life transitions such as career changes, moving to a new city, or adjusting to parenthood can evoke a range of emotions and uncertainties.
As your therapist, I provide support and guidance through these experiences for children, adults, and even fellow therapists. I help you process your emotions, find meaning in your grief, and adapt to life's transitions. Together, we can explore strategies for coping with loss, managing change, and fostering resilience.
By acknowledging and addressing grief and life transitions in therapy, we can create a safe space for healing and growth. Whether you're grappling with loss, facing a major life change, or simply seeking support during a challenging time, know that you don't have to navigate these experiences alone. I'm here to walk alongside you on your journey towards healing and personal transformation.

I’m a licensed therapist, single mother, and natural healer who brings both clinical expertise and deep intuitive understanding into my work. My path into this field wasn’t just academic—it’s personal. I’ve lived through family dynamics, relationship challenges, emotional pain, and rebuilding, which allows me to meet my clients with genuine empathy, not just theory.
I work with women, men, and couples who feel overwhelmed, stuck in patterns, or disconnected from themselves. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside—caregivers, professionals, parents—but internally feel anxious, unfulfilled, or unsure how to move forward.
My approach blends evidence-based therapy with a deeper, more holistic lens. I pay attention not just to what’s happening cognitively, but emotionally and relationally—helping you understand the “why” beneath your patterns so real, lasting change can happen.
If you’re looking for a therapist who is both grounded and deeply perceptive, structured yet human, I offer a space where you can be fully seen and supported.
It can be difficult to trust someone with your personal challenges and feelings. As a compassionate clinical social worker, I provide a safe and supportive environment to help you balance your life and empower yourself. Clients appreciate my laid-back yet professional therapeutic style. My goal is to offer you a voice, collaborate with you on your goals, respect your cultural beliefs and opinions, focus on your strengths, and provide the tools needed to move forward.
Hello, I’m a licensed clinical social worker based in Illinois, specializing in anxiety, depression, and stress management, and mindfulness. I also have experience working with veterans. I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate their mental health, manage anxiety, and reconnect with their sense of purpose.
As a therapist, I believe in a systemic approach, understanding that we all operate in an intricate web of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and how they relate to others around us. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), existential, and humanistic modalities to help you explore these connections and build a stronger foundation for growth. I also offer EMDR to process trauma.
I take a collaborative and compassionate approach in therapy, recognizing that every person has both strengths and vulnerabilities that shape their healing journey. My goal is to support you in tapping into your resilience, finding clarity, and fostering a life aligned with your values.
If you're looking to explore your growth or tackle anxiety, I’m here to help you move forward, offering services through a secure tele-health platform.
My name is Sabrina Turner. I trained at Bradley University and have 12 years of clinical experience. I focus on issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, PTSD, and ADHD. Throughout my career I have worked with clients of all ages. I primarily use person centered techniques, but I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness depending on the client. In addition, integrative approaches are helpful to most people, which means we look at your overall nutritional and physical well being in conjunction with your mental health.
Asking for help is never easy, but connection and relationships help us lead our best lives.
My goal is to help you build healthier coping skills for yourself. What that looks like is different for everyone, but I want to help you find your own unique path.
During our first session I will ask you to share some background information with me. It can be difficult to share, so please know that my number one goal is to give you a safe, nonjudgemental space to open up. In subsequent sessions we will dive deeper into your reasons for seeking therapy. We will explore techniques that are already working for you and add in new skills along the way. If you are looking for a clinician to walk alongside you while you discover yourself and how to be your best version, we will likely be a good fit!
I would love to work with teenager, young adults, adults and older generations to help them navigate through difficult life transitions, anxiety, depression and grief and loss. My ideal client understands that therapy is a journey and is willing to show up for themselves wanting something different and better for themselves. My ideal client is committed to the work and confident they can show up for themselves and be able to see things in a different perspective and try new things that are outside of their comfort zone.
I am Dorian Turner- Licensed clinical social worker and founder of iThriveTherapy PLLC. Providing mental health services since 2013.
I specialize in working with high-achieving women who experience high-functioning anxiety—the kind of anxiety that doesn’t stop you from succeeding, but makes everything feel harder than it should. My clients are often driven, capable, and dependable, yet struggle with chronic overthinking, perfectionism, people-pleasing, difficulty resting, and constant pressure to “do more.”
Hello, my name Patrick and I served in three combat tours: serving our country for nine years as a United States Marine. I decided to serve those that are mentally ill in 2013 after my tour of service. After 5 years of study and schooling I got my start in 2017 in a dual-disorder treatment center conducting Intensive inpatient/outpatient groups and utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy as an approach to treating mental health disorders.
Today, I specialize in taking an eclectic approach to using interventions looking at the holistic approaches to the human dynamic. This means looking at a person’s relationships and/or lack, cognitive schemas, their behaviors and habits, their priorities, and then determining how interventions and treatment plans will be formulated. I look at a person’s self-concept and determine holistically how their behaviors, thoughts, and patterns are contributing to their problems and functioning. The skills and tools of a therapist are the personal characteristics they bring into therapy: empathy, active listening these aren’t just attributes that look good on paper but are verbal and non-verbal forms of communication; and its these skills I believe what enables successful outcomes in therapy.

Hello! Thanks for pausing your search to take a look at my profile. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and clinical mental health counselor educator (EdD). My experience has been trauma-focused with emphasis on the experiences of those who have survived group-focused negative experiences.
Resilience is the hallmark of survivors of interpersonal violence, and through a strength-based focus, we will work together to reinforce your unique, perhaps forgotten, talents and abilities.
I work from a cognitive-behavioral, strength-based model that focuses on identifying personal strengths that can be leveraged into new skills that help to reduce the impact of the stressors in daily living.
My name is Miguel Lopez, a Hispanic male (He/Him/His) and U.S. Army combat veteran who brings a unique perspective to my work as a therapist. Fluent in Spanish and passionate about guiding people through life’s challenges, I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Walden University, a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Colorado Technical University, and an Associate’s in Criminal Justice from Pikes Peak State College. With over a decade of experience as a caseworker, substance abuse counselor, and therapist, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse clients facing real-life struggles and in need of daily support.
Life can be tough, and we all face difficult moments—whether it’s a breakup, divorce, grief, the loss of a loved one or pet, or even a job loss. In these times, having an unbiased person to offer support can make a world of difference. I see trauma as an unexpected part of life that is often hard to process, but with the right help, it can be managed and overcome healthily. I’ve personally experienced more than my share of trauma, grief, loss, sadness, depression, and substance use, and I sought help to work through them.
My approach to therapy is centered on helping people in the best way possible, always with an open mind. I often use Maslow’s hierarchy of needs as a guide, because I believe mental health is hard to prioritize when physical needs aren’t met, or issues like homelessness or substance abuse are present. I enjoy working with clients from age 5 to older adults who face Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, PTSD, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, and other mental health or substance use challenges. It’s easy to fight battles alone and suffer in silence, but you don’t have to anymore—together, we can work toward healing and a better future.
My name is Adriana Cintrón and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am a bilingual and bicultural therapist, working with English speaking individuals in Illinois. I work mainly with adults who have expressed a need for support and would either like to define goals or have them and would like help to achieve them. I primarily specialize in depression, anxiety, stress and domestic violence counseling.
Are you avoiding some of life’s most significant moments? Are you overwhelmed or stuck? Is life passing you by with nothing left? Give yourself a little space by taking some time to begin a journey that will help you. In my formal education, I have acquired various certifications and licenses that allow me to provide high-quality clinical services to adults including:
1. Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC): This license enables me to practice as a professional counselor in the state of Illinois. It demonstrates my competency and adherence to ethical standards.
2. Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Addictions Counselor (CAADC): This certification signifies my specialization in helping individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction. It demonstrates my expertise in treating addiction-related issues.
3. Certified Co-Occurring Disorder Professional (CODP I): This certification further emphasizes my proficiency in working with clients who have co-occurring mental health disorders and substance abuse issues. It allows me to provide comprehensive care and support to individuals with dual diagnoses.
4. Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-Level 1): This certification validates my knowledge and skills in providing trauma-informed care to clients who have experienced significant psychological distress or trauma.
5. Certified Clinical Complex Trauma Professional (CCTP): This certification recognizes my specialized training and expertise in working with individuals who have endured multiple or ongoing traumas that have deeply impacted their psychological well-being.
6. Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS): This designation indicates that I have met rigorous standards of expertise and experience in providing clinical supervision to aspiring or practicing counselors. It demonstrates my ability to guide and mentor other professionals in the field.
These qualifications enable me to provide effective evidence-based therapy while also equipping me with the skills and knowledge to train and support future counselors.
I work with clients who are struggling with grief, anxiety, depression or trauma. I also work with clients who may need assistance in processing everyday life stressors and want a supportive therapist whom they can confide in who will also challenge them and assist with problem-solving.
I also work with those facing reproductive challenges. As a compassionate and empathetic therapist, I understand the complex emotional and psychological impact that infertility and miscarriage can have. I can:
• Support you in maintaining hope, peace and positivity while navigating uncertainty and help you build resiliency as you work through obstacles.
• Help you to recognize and access your deeper intuition, so you are better equipped to honor your body, spirit and mind with the highest intention throughout your journey.
• Work with you on increasing clarity and purpose around your fertility journey.
• Utilize a holistic approach to address integrative lifestyle strategies that may be beneficial to your fertility path.
• Assist you in addressing relationship difficulties that can arise out of the stress of fertility challenges, help you develop strategies to increase intimacy with your partner and foster healthy communication.
For women and men who have experienced reproductive loss:
• The devastating and seemingly invisible pain of losing a pregnancy is unique in that it involves not only the loss of your baby, but also involves the loss of the future - and there is no accepted way to mark that loss. Sometimes it seems that friends and family members expect the person to move on quickly. Partners often grieve differently - and for men, the trauma of miscarriage is often overlooked. Also, some women may suffer guilt or shame associated with the loss that doesn't tend to occur with other types of grieving.
• There is no universal template for grief. Together, we will address your unique needs as you work through your grieving process.
I have worked in the mental health field for over 8 years learning skills to pass on to clients. My goal is to help clients create plans to succeed on their journey. Together we can find the obstacles that stand in front of you and work to overcome them. I strive to help clients find the “why” behind their actions and help them see what is helping and what needs to change to succeed.
I believe therapy should feel calm, respectful, and genuinely supportive. I create a space where people can slow down, speak openly, and feel heard without judgment or pressure. My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative, allowing clients to explore their experiences at a pace that feels comfortable while still working toward meaningful change.
Many people come to therapy carrying stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or past experiences while continuing to manage daily responsibilities. I enjoy helping people make sense of what they are going through, build insight, and reconnect with their strengths. Conversations are honest and thoughtful, with a focus on understanding the whole person rather than just one concern.
My goal is to offer steady guidance while respecting each client’s individuality, goals, and values. Therapy becomes a space to reflect, gain clarity, heal, and begin moving forward with greater confidence and emotional balance.

I hold a Clinical Psychologist license to practice in Illinois. I completed my doctorate studies at Adler University. My professional experience in treatment spans over 25 years. I believe a person holds the ability to transform their life for the better. I find satisfaction in helping them advance on their path. The following examples show my methods for treating anxiety and depression.
The evidence-based treatment method I use for anxiety focuses on individualized symptom-specific approaches that match the client’s needs and personal preferences. The combination of repetitive and irrational thoughts about perceived danger, uncertainty or failure creates distressing mental states which may manifest as negative thought, such as: "I am not good enough" or "something bad will happen" or "I will be fired if I make a mistake."
I assist my clients to detect and fight their negative beliefs and thoughts. I guide clients to manage their anxiety symptoms with mindfulness breathing techniques and progressive muscle relaxation methods. With assigned homework including mindfulness exercises, I guide the client to maintain their progress and self-regulation between sessions.
My depression treatment approach matches each client's symptoms, their life history, and their social environment. Depression exists on a spectrum from temporary sadness to persistent and severe Major Depressive Disorder. The maintenance of depression relies on negative thoughts such as “I am worthless” or “Nothing will ever get better.” Our focus will be to identify and modify.
Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients view their depressive thoughts in a non-judgmental manner to reduce their rumination and emotional distress. By teaching problem solving skills and the practice of mindfulness helps the individual become more aware of their physical tension. Assigning homework guides the individual to improve sleep hygiene, self-care, and build effective coping strategies.
We all need a bit of support in our lives at one time or another. My goal is to partner with my clients to be this support. My name is Jennifer wolf, and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois with 8 years of professional work experience in a setting with diverse client populations. Hello, I’m Yolanda, a licensed psychotherapist with a Master of Social Work degree from Loyola University of Chicago. I consider it a true privilege to walk alongside individuals as they courageously pursue healing, growth, and transformation.
In our work together, I offer a compassionate and inclusive space where you can feel safe to explore life’s challenges, including:
Navigating independence and life transitions
Working through identity, relationship, or family struggles
Managing parenting stress and blended family dynamics
Coping with higher education demands and career pressures
Building emotional resilience and healthier coping strategies
As a married mother of three in a blended family, I understand firsthand that every season of life—even the most difficult—can hold potential for renewal, peace, and deeper purpose.
My goal is to support you in:
Unpacking what feels heavy or overwhelming
Strengthening emotional and relational well-being
Moving toward meaningful, life-giving change
Together, we will create space for honesty, healing, and the freedom to live with greater purpose and hope.
Even strong, successful couples can struggle behind closed doors. Stress, busy schedules, communication breakdowns, unresolved hurt, intimacy challenges, parenting demands, and career pressures can slowly create distance in a relationship that once felt effortless.
I work with couples who want more than just fewer arguments — they want to feel connected, understood, desired, and supported again. Together, we work to improve communication, rebuild trust, deepen emotional and physical intimacy, and create healthier ways of navigating conflict and partnership.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Certified Sex Therapist with 17 years of experience, I help couples strengthen both their relationship and their connection so they can build a marriage that feels secure, passionate, and sustainable long-term.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Illinois and have been practicing for 23 years. Within my holistic practice, I incorporate mindfulness techniques such as deep breathing exercises, meditation, positive affirmations as well as utilize creative arts and movement during sessions. I work with clients who are feeling overwhelmed, overstimulated or anxious. I provide support as well as pride myself in a person centered approach, meeting my client where they are, and helping them to meet goals that they wish to achieve. I am compassionate about working with individuals facing infertility or health issues.
As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), my mission is to guide individuals on a journey back to their innate wisdom, compassion, peace, and confidence. I often think of the story of Michelangelo, who described sculpting as the act of chipping away marble to reveal the beauty already within. This metaphor beautifully captures the counseling process: together, we identify and remove the barriers obscuring your true SELF, allowing your inner brilliance to shine through.
