My name is Renee, and I try my best to be a compassionate, culturally responsive psychotherapist who specializes in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and communication issues. I recognize that seeking therapy can be a vulnerable step, especially if you’ve felt misunderstood or unseen in other areas of life. You deserve a space where you feel safe, respected, and empowered. I provide a warm, supportive environment rooted in empathy, collaboration, and evidence based care. I incorporate approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt therapy, and trauma-informed methods to support lasting change and emotional resilience. In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will focus on building a foundation of trust and understanding. We’ll begin with introductions and review any intake paperwork you've completed. From there, I’ll invite you to share what has brought you to therapy, explore your goals, and gather background information that will help guide our work together. I’ll also explain my therapeutic approach so you know what to expect and how we can move forward in a way that feels comfortable and effective for you.

My greatest strengths lie in doing my best to create a culturally attuned, emotionally safe space where clients feel seen and supported as their full selves. I combine empathy and evidence based techniques with present moment awareness to help clients explore patterns, process emotions, and deepen their connection to their authentic identity, while tailoring each session to align with your unique needs, challenges, and goals. My ability to honor each person’s unique cultural lens allows for a more inclusive and effective therapeutic experience, which empowers clients to make meaningful progress in areas such as emotional well-being, personal development, and relationship dynamics. I am deeply committed to walking alongside clients with compassion, curiosity, and respect meeting them where they are while gently guiding them toward growth and empowerment.
