Hello, I am Beatriz Gonzalez and I am a Latina LCSW.

I employ evidenced-based professional counseling methods and invite individuals to integrate their own perspective, values, and goals into each session.

I specialize in trauma-based work utilizing short and long-term case management/counseling services. I have worked with individuals and families to provide specific intensive case management and behavioral health services. I am bilingual in Spanish/English and enjoy working with a diverse population. I have years of experience working with adults and adolescents that are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life-transitions, relationship, grief, and other stressors. I am aware that beginning the therapy journey can come with a variety of mixed feelings and emotions, but DON'T WORRY! During my work, I always put the client's needs first and will work alongside you at the pace you are comfortable with. I strive to help my clients foster awareness and gain insight into their inner emotions. My hope is that clients will gain a new outlook and feel empowered to make changes. I believe therapy can be effective when it is built on a relationship of trust, acceptance, and commitment to change.
