My first career includes 17 years of retail management. I worked in multiple divisions, environments, and roles within the retail management industry. Most of my experiences were in the Big-Box retail environments or within the corporate office environment, so I understand the expectations and stressors of P&L management, marketing, staff performance/recruitment/training & development, shrinkage, O.S.H.A. compliance, and merchandising. I transitioned from the retail management industry to the human services industry in March of 2010 after receiving my master’s degree in Human Services with a specialty in Mental Health Counseling. This information is pertinent for adults who need assistance to cope with work-life balance, corporate industry standards, stressful work environments, conflict management with co-workers, and work performance due to compassion fatigue or inappropriate time management.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Indiana. I received my Masters from Aurora University and I have been practicing for 5 years. I am a warm, empathetic therapist who helps adults become the best versions of themselves through Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Combining my lived and professional experience, I specialize in working with LGBTQ adults to address needs specific to our community, especially those of transgender experience. Further, I myself am an individual who has detransitioned and I extend services to those who have as well. I understand what it's like to go through transition and go back, and I want to ensure my clients get thorough care, transitioning or detransitioning. Of course, I work with people who are inside and outside the LGBTQ community, I'm an advocate for you. I also work with personality disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, and so much more. Regardless of what brings you to therapy, I have a wide range of resources available to all my clients for extra support. My biggest priority in therapy is honesty, as well as giving you a space you feel comfortable in so you can open up at your pace. I want to build a strong, lasting alliance between us so we can help you become the best version of yourself. I know that together, we are going to do great things. A little about me, I have a sphynx cat named Cupid and a black cat named Tofu. Behind me sits my spider, Marrow, who burrows and builds tunnels more than she spins webs. I also enjoy playing DND, I've been drawing since I was in kindergarten, and I play lots of video games, particularly fantasy RPGs.

Are you feeling overwhelmed by the constant demands of work, parenting, or life in general? You’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. I work with adults who are struggling to manage stress, burnout, anxiety, and depression, especially those trying to juggle the pressures of professional and personal responsibilities. I have a special focus on supporting educators and school professionals who often give so much to others that their own well-being takes a back seat. Together, we’ll create a supportive, collaborative space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change. My approach is warm, practical, and tailored to help you feel better and find a sense of balance again. Before transitioning into private practice, I spent 34 years working in public schools, helping students, families, and staff navigate life’s challenges. That experience gave me a deep understanding of how stress shows up across all areas of life—and how important it is to have a safe place to process, heal, and grow.

Clients often tell me I’m easy to talk to, down-to-earth, and real. That’s exactly what I strive for: a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you can show up just as you are. Engaging in therapy can be a difficult decision for many people. Whether you are going through a life change, or you feel the need to put the past behind, or maybe simply wish to know yourself better, relate to your loved ones better, improve your academic or professional performance, face your fears, overcome a loss, or just wish to learn more efficient ways to deal with life stressors... these are all great reasons to engage in therapy. For me, genuineness, openness, and a non-judgmental approach are essential ingredients to connect with you, support you, and guide you in your journey. I have 28 years of experience. I am bilingual (Spanish) and I have professional work experience from three different countries (Spain, UK, USA). I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Certified substance abuse counselor (CADC), Certified EMDR clinician, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and I am also trained in Brain spotting. Life can be very challenging; I strive to understand and empathize with your individual circumstances and work hand in hand with you to restore your inner balance. We can never completely control what life throws at us, but we can control and modify how we respond to life events internally and externally.

In 2015, I began training as a Certified Sexual, Addiction Therapist (CSAT), supervised by Dr. Kenneth Adams. I was trained in Betrayal Trauma by Dr. Kevin Skinner. Since that time, I have continued to work with attachment, adoption issues, trauma issues, sexual addiction, pornography addiction, anxiety, depression, and betrayal trauma. These types of therapy mean that I can work with you if you have difficulty connecting with your mom or dad, saw or experienced abandonment or rejection, or were involved with a traumatic (to you) event. I work with children, couples, individuals, and families. You deserve recovery and healing with a well-trained therapist who specializes in the modalities for your healing. I know you may not know how to fix your situation or relationship right now, but I know how to help. Request an appointment today; let’s start the conversation.

My name is Shavone Marie Williams-Moss, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I entered the field of social work largely because of my family background; I was raised by a single father while my mother struggled with substance abuse and mental health issues and could not perform her role as a parent. One day as an adult in my 20's, I saw my mother sitting on a bench on the main street in Kentucky. I welcomed her into my home only to discover she not only suffered from homelessness but bipolar disorder, major depression, and substance abuse. My mother lived with me for a year, after which she passed away. This situation made me wonder, what if, in her younger years, she would have met someone who was supportive, understanding, kind, selfless, and invested in helping her be the best version of her, she could be. It was then that I decided to enter the Social Work Field. I wanted to provide help to those who could not help themselves and aid to those in need.

I am a client centered therapist/psychologist with 13+ years of experience working with couples and individuals age 18 and older. My schedule is generally Monday through Thursday from 9-5 PT and Friday from 9-3 PT. You can expect me to be empathic and understanding of your concerns, without judgment. I won't be telling you how to live your life or giving you advice you haven't asked for. If you want advice, please don't hesitate to ask. I will do my best. I work with you to help you gain insight into what is bothering you. Together we can help find new ways of understanding yourself (self-empathy) and discover/change how you are looking at the world around you. We can work to relieve symptoms of depression and anxiety. My goal is to eventually have you be able to better handle feelings and emotions and live a happier more fulfilled life without me being there to help. What are your goals? What would you like to work on with me?

I have specialized in working with individuals and couples who are interested in a deep, transformative experience that resolves core issues, not just symptoms. My work is unique compared to many other therapists because I go beyond a strictly cognitive approach. I use a holistic approach that includes Psychodynamic (childhood issues), Somatic (body-oriented), Couples Systems, Meditative (Mindful) practices, Life Coaching and HMR (Holographic Memory Resolution) Techniques. HMR is a leading edge mind-body therapy that allows expedient access to past memories and complete resolution of the painful emotions associated with these events without having to relive them. My deep understanding of the interrelationship between mind, body and spirit allows for healing all facets of the human energy system. My client's often resolve and change deep seated negative patterns and cognitions resulting in a greater capacity for intimacy, joy, inner peace and confidence. My style is warm, interactive yet, direct and to the point. I will help you navigate towards the life you prefer to be living. I especially enjoy working with young adults, adults, and couples going through a major life transition, recovering from trauma or, looking for renewed meaning and direction.
