As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I specialize in helping individuals identify their strengths, set meaningful goals, and move forward with greater clarity and purpose. Since becoming licensed in 2004, I’ve worked with clients across a wide range of life stages and challenges, using a goal-oriented, strengths-based approach rooted in evidence-based practices.
My clinical focus is on empowering clients to overcome barriers, build resilience, and make intentional changes that support long-term growth. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, managing stress, or feeling stuck, I provide a supportive and structured space where we can work collaboratively to identify what’s not working—and develop practical, sustainable strategies to help you thrive.
Hi! I am Yetunde (yay-toon-day) Battle, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals and couples seeking greater emotional clarity, healing, and connection. My work is rooted in helping people understand their patterns, heal relational wounds, and build more secure and fulfilling relationships—with others and with themselves.

I strive to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental, where you can slow down, be honest, and explore what’s really going on beneath the surface. Therapy with me is collaborative and thoughtful, focused not only on reducing distress but also on helping you grow into a more authentic, secure, and connected version of yourself.
My work is: Comprehensive
Direct and compassionate
Strategic, not surface-level

west central Georgia and east central Alabama. I graduated from the University of Georgia's MSW program in 1993 and became an LCSW in 1996. I have worked in home health and hospice for most of my career with a strong emphasis on geriatrics and dementia care. I have experience in inpatient psychiatric settings and residential services as well.
I am looking to fill a niche that I have seen wanting attention for some time. For many years I have seen elders and their families in their homes but had to refer out any counseling other than crisis intervention to outpatient therapists. The problem is that I have been referring homebound people for outpatient therapy. This is not effective for many reasons.
With the help of Grow Therapy, I intend to offer my services of counseling and case management to people in the comfort of their own homes. I will become a mobile mental health provider to serve a population that has gone largely underserved for all too long. My coverage area for in-home therapy will be Lee, Russell, and Chambers counties in Alabama as well as Muscogee, Chattahoochee, and Harris Counties in Georgia.
I am opening up limited appointment times for virtual counseling as of mid May 2024.

As a former football coach, I have developed an approach to therapy that will allow me to utilize coaching concepts to address the needs of my clients. It encompasses a direct approach to address problems with the a level of understanding and empathy that will support a change in behavior. This works well with my CBT background. Therefore I have branded myself as The Therapy Coach. Which means that I am more than just a therapist to my clients.
My favorite book of all time is Viktor Frankl's Man's Search for Meaning. One of the many wonderful things he says in that book is "When we are no longer able to change a situation we are challenged to change ourselves."
I see our work together as a team effort. Each client I see has his or her own story and unique perspective on that story, and I believe that within that story are the seeds to healing. My approach to helping my clients is in seeing each of my clients as a whole person who is struggling with something, whether it is anxiety, depression, relationships issues, substance abuse, communication, parenting, trauma, etc. Most often, it is how we perceive a situation or a struggle that defines how we deal with it or respond to it. I hope that I can help you with whatever your struggle may be, and to help you rewrite your story. I am not here to "fix" you, The work is yours to do, I am a facilitator and I provide evidenced based treatments, support and accountability., I help you gain clarity by providing a safe place to put your struggles and a place to heal and improve your overall health and wellbeing. Ultimately, my job is for you to eventually not need me.

I received my clinical license in 2016 in the state of Georgia, and have since provided outpatient therapy, Telehealth (online) therapy, and extensive group therapy services. My professional experience includes working with diverse populations across a range of mental health needs in both individual and group settings. After earning my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Temple University, I completed my Master of Social Work (MSW) at Widener University, followed by a post-master's training program for therapists at Drexel University. This educational foundation, combined with years of clinical practice, informs my compassionate, evidenced-based approach to care.
