New to Grow
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor providing telehealth services to individuals and families, including students and young adults navigating anxiety, stress, and life transitions. I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves while building practical coping skills, increasing self-awareness, and working toward meaningful change. My approach is collaborative and focused on helping clients feel more confident and balanced as they navigate life’s challenges.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our first session, we’ll get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to understand your goals, concerns, and what’s important to you, and together we’ll begin identifying strategies and coping skills that can help. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood, and we’ll work together to develop a plan that meets your needs and feels comfortable for you.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I create a compassionate, supportive space where clients feel heard and understood. I’m skilled in CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing, helping clients build practical skills to manage stress, navigate challenges, and make meaningful changes at their own pace.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work well with individuals, students, young adults, and families who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of how to move forward and are looking for support in finding balance again. Many of my clients are navigating life transitions, school or work stress, or relationship challenges and want to develop healthier ways of coping and communicating. If you are looking for a supportive space to better understand yourself, build practical skills, and make meaningful changes at a pace that feels comfortable for you, we may be a good fit.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. Together, we explore patterns that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, or feeling stuck, and work toward developing healthier and more balanced ways of thinking. CBT allows clients to build practical coping skills that can be used in everyday situations, helping them feel more confident, grounded, and capable of managing challenges as they arise.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I also incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to help clients manage strong emotions, cope with stress, and improve relationships. DBT focuses on mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness, providing tools that help clients respond to difficult moments with greater awareness and intention. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients can learn skills that promote emotional balance while feeling understood and supported throughout the process.
Motivational Interviewing
I incorporate Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore their goals, strengthen motivation for change, and work through ambivalence in a supportive and nonjudgmental way. This approach focuses on meeting clients where they are, honoring their autonomy, and helping them identify their own reasons for change. Through open conversation and guided reflection, I support clients in building confidence, increasing self awareness, and taking meaningful steps toward changes that feel realistic and personally meaningful.
