Hi, I am a John, Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia. I hold a masters of counseling education degree as well as a Certified professional counseling supervisor certification.
I am also a certified Holy fire III Reiki II practitioner in energy healing.
I have worked with children and adults annd veterans over the last 16 years specializing in everything from trauma to relationship therapies interpersonal and intrapersonal therapy ,in addition to spirituality and a host of other mental health diagnosis and blended families to marriage counseling . I am also a certified Holy fire III Reiki II practitioner in energy healing. I enjoy working with clients that are receptive to change or even ambivalent to change.
First session
In the first session we will begin with brief introductions.Following that we will explore the identified challenges you're facing. This will help us to create an individualized treatment plan so we can work towards addressing the complex issues and bring them resolution
Strengths
Having worked with trauma in adults and children and as a former foster parent I have developed a strong skill set in exploring issues and identifying potential solutions for helping you by 1.Helping to identify underlying causes of your challenges and 2. By utilization of your individualized treatment plan we will measure progress and make any adjustments to continue growth through therapy 3. I will work diligently to demonstrate and model behaviors that will lead to lasting change through advice and good listening skills
Ideal clients
I enjoy working with young adults as well as the aging. I also enjoy working with clients who are either beginning their life journey or have been navigating their lives and their careers. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They may feel stuck, lonely and anxious about life matters.

Very well experienced with reframing , reshaping thoughts that lead to un wanted behaviors while at the same time possess the skill to listen, reflect and summarize a persons feelings and emotions empathetically

Having led crisis and intervention teams, as well as intensive family, intervention, teams, searching, and building a plunge drinks is a skill that I have strong abilities to redirect people to their possibilities
Faith-based therapy
I have numerous experiences with faith based therapy in various different disciplines having been a student of them all in this I could help you determine meaning from ambiguity clarity through past wounds, and hurts, dealing with faith and religion

More than 16 years experience working with youth and adults, who are unaware of the impact behaviors are having on themselves and family members
