You keep showing up fully in relationships, but rarely feel met in the same way. On the outside, you’re capable and composed. On the inside, you may feel anxious, unfulfilled, or quietly questioning yourself. You might overgive, take on emotional labor, or fall into familiar roles that no longer feel aligned.
These experiences are often connected to anxiety, attachment patterns, or past relational wounds — and they can change.

I have been commissioned to help couples, families, friends, and any other relationship dynamic find their communication style, boundaries, and build trust. It is truly my joy and my personal life’s work.

I encourage and empower you to unlock the power you have inside of you. I promise you it’s there! As a psychotherapist, my vocation is supporting individuals, working together on your journey toward self-discovery, healing, and learning to thrive from the comfort and convenience of your home or office, and when it is most convenient for you. My work commonly addresses individuals experiencing difficulties in life due to problems stemming from difficulties early in life, anxiety, depression, major life changes, academic challenges (undergrad, graduate, post-graduate studies), the discomfort of feelings that go along with hypervigilance, procrastination, and perfectionism.
Sometimes, we need help from someone new, experienced with developing collaborative relationships to find strengths we take for granted, and to embrace that we can be the person we’re meant to be.
Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, or major life changes? Let’s talk!
I do not prescribe medication, and I do not see clients under the age of 18.
I am a therapist that likes to actively build towards getting clients the changes they are seeking: To feel better emotionally, improve self esteem, see positive changes in their lives and relationships, to gain healing, and increase motivation. We will begin by talking and processing the issues and then figuring out what would be the most helpful approach to get started . I believe in listening to what my clients need and then developing an individualized strategy for each person with his or her input s the foundation. Clients would describe me as warm, open, and guiding ,while still leaving room for them to make the best decision for themselves, as well as affirming of who you are now, not who you can be. I take the approach, "You are not lost, you just need to know where to place your feet to keep walking forward." I ask lots of questions to create further exploration and insight using analogies that are easy to relate to. I also provide time for talking, because sometimes hearing yourself say it is the most valuable thing you can do. I believe that the client is the director of his/ her own life and the therapist is a facilitator to help them get to deeper truths within. I work with clients to uncover root causes and treat the deeper issues, not just the symptoms. We come away from sessions with a plan of action for improvement and more understanding about what is causing the blockage to begin with.

It takes work but I will be there to assist you towards living the life you desire and deserve.

Hello, I'm Teresa Anderson, a Licensed Professional Counselor and certified life coach based in Georgia. With over 15 years of experience in community mental health, I have had the privilege of working with adolescents, families, couples, and individuals, helping them navigate through life's challenges and find their path to healing and growth.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), a method specifically designed to address the needs of children and adults dealing with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Over the years, I've gained extensive knowledge and experience in managing a wide array of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, and communication problems.
I believe that therapy should be as unique as the individual seeking it. Therefore, I utilize various therapeutic modalities tailored to meet your specific needs. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insights, and develop the skills necessary for personal growth and healing.
In our sessions, you can expect a blend of hope, insight, encouragement, and spiritual growth. I am committed to walking alongside you on your journey, providing the support and guidance you need to overcome obstacles and achieve your goals.
If you're ready to take the next step towards a healthier, more fulfilling life, I invite you to reach out. Let's work together to create the change you seek.
Hi, I’m Chanel! I am a licensed therapist passionate about helping women build confidence, strengthen their relationships, and create the life they truly want. I specialize in Solution-Focused Therapy, guiding clients to uncover their strengths and develop practical steps toward meaningful change. My approach is supportive, empowering, and designed to help you move forward with clarity and confidence. I believe, the answer is inside of you waiting to be uncovered.
I have over 35 years of experience working with individuals and families in crisis and providing marriage and couples counseling. Past experiences include working with military families for 10 years with the Department of Defense. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy. I encourage healthy communication and feedback from each family member using family systems therapy. I believe the healing process starts with the willingness to change, commitment, and consistency. "My journey toward becoming a therapist began while I was working in adult probation. That experience led me to explore what it takes to find strength through life’s most difficult challenges and to avoid involvement in crime. It also showed me the powerful role therapy can play in recovery and strengthened my commitment to supporting others on their healing journeys. Inspired by this work, I returned to school to earn my master’s degree in social work. I remain guided by the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth and change. Seeing my clients build confidence and find peace makes this work deeply rewarding."
