My treatment methods

Trauma-Focused CBT

Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy goals are to reduce the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and other trauma-related difficulties.

Strength-Based

I utilize strength based therapy techniques to assist clients with building positive outcomes using their strengths and support systems. Strength based therapy utilizes the client strengths to overcome weaknesses.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I utilize DBT treatment to build strong coping strategies, manage intense emotions, and improve relationships. DBT focuses on mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize cognitive behavior therapy to process negative thought processes, restructuring of negative behaviors and develop strong coping skills to utilize in future areas of needs for clients in the future.

Play Therapy

I utilize play therapy techniques in working with children ages 4-18 to encourage coping skills development, emotional expression and processing of children needs.
