Choosing to start therapy is a big step, and I don’t take that lightly. It’s truly a privilege to walk alongside people in seasons where they’re growing, reflecting, and working toward healing. My approach isn’t just built on training and clinical experience—it’s also shaped by my own personal journey and my faith. Because of that, I understand how overwhelming life can feel at times, but I also believe that change, clarity, and healing are real. In my work as a therapist, I’ve supported individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, men’s issues, substance use, and trauma. Life moves fast, and a lot gets put on us emotionally. My goal is to give you a space where you can slow down, think clearly, and be yourself without judgment—while also creating room for truth, growth, and restoration. I aim to build a relationship that’s honest, supportive, and real. Whether you’re dealing with something specific or just trying to figure things out, I’m here to help you gain insight, build resilience, and develop tools that actually stick.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is really just about getting you comfortable. I want you to feel heard, understood, and able to be real about what brought you to therapy—no pressure, no judgment. We’ll take some time to get to know each other. I’ll have you share your story, what’s been going on, and what you’re hoping to get out of this. From there, we’ll start figuring out your goals and where you feel like you need the most support and growth. I see therapy as a partnership, so your voice matters in all of this. I’m here to listen, be real with you, and offer guidance when it’s needed. My goal is to help you build tools that actually work in your life. Our higher power is a part of the healing process—so if you’re open to it, we can make space for that too.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my biggest strengths as a therapist is creating a space where people feel safe, respected, and actually understood. I believe real healing starts when you feel heard, so I make it a point to really listen, stay present, and show up as myself—no front. Along with my training, I bring my own life experience into the work. I’ve had to grow through my own challenges, so I’m not coming from a place of “I’ve got it all figured out.” I understand that what people go through is part of life, and I try to meet every client with patience, honesty, and encouragement. My faith also plays a big role in how I see growth and healing—I believe God is active in that process. My approach is a mix of clinical tools and real-life strategies you can actually use day to day. I’m big on helping you get clarity, shift your thinking in a healthier direction, and build the kind of confidence and resilience that holds up in real life—not just in sessions.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to work with people who are ready for change, even if they don’t fully know what that looks like yet. A lot of my clients are dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, or just feeling stuck and overwhelmed. I work well with people who are open to being real, doing the work, and trying new ways of thinking and responding to life. Whether you have clear goals or you’re still figuring things out, I help you get clarity, build practical tools, and move forward in a healthier way. I also connect well with those who want to include their faith in the process. If that matters to you, I’m here for that too.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) with individuals who are ready to move forward, whether they’re navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, or feeling overwhelmed. This approach emphasizes identifying and building on existing strengths, helping you access and apply the resources you already have. My style is practical and goal-oriented. We focus on what is already working and use that as a foundation for change, rather than remaining centered on the problem. Together, we clarify what you want your life to look like and take intentional, measurable steps toward that vision. The process is collaborative and tailored to your needs. We work together to create meaningful, sustainable change that aligns with your values, priorities, and day-to-day reality.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

My experience with Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is grounded in working with individuals who are motivated to move forward rather than remain focused on past difficulties. I have applied this approach with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, and general feelings of overwhelm. A central component of this work involves helping clients recognize and access their existing strengths and internal resources, and then apply them in meaningful, practical ways. My approach to SFBT is structured, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I focus on identifying what is already effective—even if it appears minimal—and using those elements as a foundation for progress. Rather than concentrating exclusively on problems, sessions emphasize clarifying desired outcomes and identifying concrete, achievable steps toward those goals. I use targeted, reflective questioning to support shifts in perspective, increase awareness of patterns, and help clients recognize incremental progress that may have previously gone unnoticed.
