Do you sometimes feel sad or hopeless but can't seem to 'break out of it'? Is self-doubt or low self-esteem keeping you from setting and achieving your goals? Are your relationships suffering but you can't put your finger on it? Most of us have been there. I create a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients to express, explore and process their fears, doubts, negative thoughts and experiences. Healing and recovery is not a linear process. It is not scripted. It requires some work on your part and I am here to support you along the way. I specialize in treating trauma. Whether its childhood trauma, relationship trauma or a recent occurrence, it still has an impact on your life. I'm here to support you with your recovery. I work with individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship and family issues. I am excited for you to break free from the chains that are holding you back from being your best self!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients will have an opportunity to share their experiences, ask questions and collaborate in creating a treatment plan tailored for them. Don't expect to have all of the answers at the first session, but be prepared to dive in and start your journey. Please complete the assessments and intake paperwork and let me know if you have questions or concerns.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

My primary treatment modality is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) because sometimes the negative thoughts are the loudest and CBT seeks to address that type of thinking. I also use a strength based approach. That doesn't mean we will dismiss the challenges you are facing. It means that we will address those challenges by identifying your own strengths, tapping into or building your support system and creating opportunities for success.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strengths include my ability to use a multicultural approach, I am an empathic listener, I am direct and compassionate and I am a continuous learner. I do not take a 'one size fits all approach'. We are all different and our diversity has to be acknowledged during treatment.
