Do you sometimes feel sad or hopeless but can't seem to 'break out of it'? Is self-doubt or low self-esteem keeping you from setting and achieving your goals? Are your relationships suffering but you can't put your finger on it? Most of us have been there. I create a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients to express, explore and process their fears, doubts, negative thoughts and experiences. Healing and recovery is not a linear process. It is not scripted. It requires some work on your part and I am here to support you along the way. I specialize in treating trauma. Whether its childhood trauma, relationship trauma or a recent occurrence, it still has an impact on your life. I'm here to support you with your recovery. I work with individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship and family issues. I am excited for you to break free from the chains that are holding you back from being your best self!
Clients will have an opportunity to share their experiences, ask questions and collaborate in creating a treatment plan tailored for them. Don't expect to have all of the answers at the first session, but be prepared to dive in and start your journey. My biggest strengths include my ability to use a multicultural approach, I am an empathic listener, I am direct and compassionate and I am a continuous learner. I do not take a 'one size fits all approach'. We are all different and our diversity has to be acknowledged during treatment.

I use CBT to help my client realize that their thoughts, feelings and behaviors are interconnected, but not always helpful or healthy. Together, we will set realistic, attainable goals to help you achieve your desired outcome.
DBT is very helpful for individuals with intense emotions. This therapy helps clients regulate their emotions, focus on "the now" without judgement, improve communication and relationships as well as tolerate and accept distressful situations without suffering.
I believe gender-affirming therapy is a vital part of one's journey. I aim to help trans and non-binary individuals explore their identity, realize and cope with challenges and make informed decisions.
I don't go around looking for trauma but I do acknowledge that it does exist. I recognize that trauma does exist, it is impactful and individualized. I focus on helping my clients heal and build resilience.
