Hi! I am Yetunde (yay-toon-day) Battle, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals and couples seeking greater emotional clarity, healing, and connection. My work is rooted in helping people understand their patterns, heal relational wounds, and build more secure and fulfilling relationships—with others and with themselves.
I support individuals navigating anxiety, mood concerns, relational trauma, and major life transitions such as breakups and divorce, as well as couples working to improve communication, repair trust, and deepen intimacy. My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and relationship-centered, drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, CBT, ACT, and somatic and mindfulness-based interventions.
My style is laid back, grounded, and compassionate, with a good sense of humor. I strive to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental, where you can slow down, be honest, and explore what’s really going on beneath the surface. Therapy with me is collaborative and thoughtful, focused not only on reducing distress but also on helping you grow into a more authentic, secure, and connected version of yourself.
Welcome! I'm honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and hope. I have four years of experience as a Mental Health Counselor, preceded by four years in Crisis Prevention and Addiction Recovery, supporting individuals through life's most difficult seasons.
I work with individuals beginning at age 8 through older adulthood, using an eclectic, evidence-based approach tailored to each person's unique needs. My therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Trauma-Informed Care, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I believe every person has inherent worth, resilience, and the capacity for growth. My focus is helping clients discover their strengths, heal from trauma, and create lasting changes in their thoughts, behaviors, relationships, and daily lives. For clients who desire it, I also offer a faith-integrated approach, incorporating Christian principles and biblical truth into the counseling process while respecting each person's beliefs and values. My goal is to provide a compassionate, safe, and peaceful environment where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to move toward healing, hope, and wholeness.

I am a counselor who believes that the therapeutic relationship is essential. From the moment I first meet a client I want to do everything in my power to help them feel comfortable. I acknowledge that counseling can be daunting - meeting a stranger and sharing the intimate details of one's life is frightening. I assure my clients that they are in a safe place and they can share as much or as little as they like. Regardless, they will be accepted unconditionally.

Hi, I'm Derrick, a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and founder of Guardian Path Counseling Services. With more than 15 years of experience in mental health and education, I work with adolescents, teens, and adults facing anxiety, stress, behavioral concerns, emotional challenges, and life's many transitions.
My style is supportive, practical, and direct. I believe in plain talk over a lot of clinical jargon and helping people make real progress in ways that actually fit their lives. Therapy should feel like a real conversation where you can be yourself, talk openly about what's going on, and leave with a clearer understanding of your situation and where you'd like to go next.
I’m a licensed therapist who is passionate about helping individuals find balance, clarity, and healing in the midst of life’s challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices, while also honoring the importance of each client’s unique experiences, values, and cultural background.
I use an integrative style that may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based work, mindfulness, and, for those who desire it, faith-based counseling. I believe that therapy should be both practical and meaningful—providing you with tools you can use in your daily life while also creating space for deeper insight and lasting change.
My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel seen, heard, and empowered. Together, we will work to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your coping skills, and move toward a more grounded, intentional, and fulfilling life.

I have a heart for working with people as they find their way through difficult life transitions such as relationship challenges, work stressors, health issues, etc. When these core aspects of our lives change, we can feel confused, anxious, depressed, and unsure of our roles and identities. We grieve what we have lost and are uncertain of what lies ahead. Filtering out the noise of the outside world and listening to one's inner self helps you stay centered so you can make choices that align with your core values.
As a certified EMDR therapist, I help people process trauma so they can stop feeling stuck and can move forward in their lives. I also use depth (Jungian) psychology to help people explore their inner worlds to reveal hidden fears, beliefs, shadow parts, dreams and creative impulses that lie under the surface of our conscious awareness. When brought to the light of consciousness, they can enrich our lives with insights and revelations that can help us realign with our core Self.
I love working with those from minority groups who may not identify with the larger culture or fit into society’s categories, and are struggling with issues concerning identity, belonging, self-worth, cultural expectations and finding a sense of self in this complex and changing world. Therapy can help us find clarity and stability through change as we focus on what really matters.

My favorite book of all time is Viktor Frankl's Man's Search for Meaning. One of the many wonderful things he says in that book is "When we are no longer able to change a situation we are challenged to change ourselves."
I see our work together as a team effort. Each client I see has his or her own story and unique perspective on that story, and I believe that within that story are the seeds to healing. My approach to helping my clients is in seeing each of my clients as a whole person who is struggling with something, whether it is anxiety, depression, relationships issues, substance abuse, communication, parenting, trauma, etc. Most often, it is how we perceive a situation or a struggle that defines how we deal with it or respond to it. I hope that I can help you with whatever your struggle may be, and to help you rewrite your story. I am not here to "fix" you, The work is yours to do, I am a facilitator and I provide evidenced based treatments, support and accountability., I help you gain clarity by providing a safe place to put your struggles and a place to heal and improve your overall health and wellbeing. Ultimately, my job is for you to eventually not need me.

I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD and executive functioning challenges, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, grief, self-esteem, and personal growth. Utilizing an eclectic therapy framework, including EMDR, I work collaboratively with individuals and families to restore balance and foster meaningful growth. My approach is grounded in the belief that healing occurs when underlying barriers are identified and addressed effectively. My philosophy centers on empowering individuals to remove the obstacles that hinder self-worth, while guiding them toward developing a positive sense of purpose within their families and communities.

Hello, I am Shaqueena. Are you tired of being tired? Do you feel that no one understands your situation or that no one can relate? Are you unsure if therapy is right for you?
If you are here, then that means that you are ready and motivated to make some changes in your life. Seeking help can sometimes be tough, which is why I believe that we all experience things in our life that goes beyond our ability to cope and when that happens we need a little more assistance.
As a licensed professional counselor, my ultimate goal is to first normalize seeking assistance by decreasing the stigma on mental health. In doing so, my goal is to assist individuals in their healing process, to empower individuals to become the best version of themselves and to help individuals to see that life is completely what you make it.
My preference for treatment is to utilize a trauma-informed approach in addition to CBT, EMDR and Choice/Reality Therapy.
