LPC, 8 years of experience
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has been helping individuals with mental health and professional challenges for over 15 years. My belief is that everyone can use some help at some point in their life. There is not one person that knows the answer to everything and that is okay. My passion is to provide you with the support your need in a safe space to allow you to navigate through any challenge you may be facing. Therapy is about you, and you are the driver of your sessions. We will work on a plan to get you to your desired goals. Sometimes you just need a nonjudgemental space talk things out to provide you with the clarity you need. I am passionate about you being able to be your authentic self. I have been helping clients for years to learn to let go of things that have been preventing them from moving forward in their relationships, friendships, and careers.
In our first CBT session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other, understanding what you’re currently struggling with, and identifying what you hope to achieve in therapy. I’ll explain how CBT works — how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact — and how we can use that framework to help you feel more in control. We’ll start developing goals and a plan for how we’ll move forward together.
What sets my approach apart is how I combine evidence-based tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a down-to-earth, compassionate style that makes therapy both practical and personal. I don't just listen — I actively help you identify patterns, challenge unhelpful thinking, and develop skills you can use in real life. Clients often come to me feeling overwhelmed, stuck in self-doubt, or burnt out — especially high-achieving professionals who are used to managing everything on their own. Together, we break down what's keeping you stuck and build new ways of thinking, coping, and showing up for yourself — without judgment or pressure. You can expect sessions that are structured but flexible, supportive yet focused on growth. My goal is to help you feel more clear, empowered, and resilient — not just in therapy, but in your day-to-day life.
I work best with adults who are navigating depression, anxiety, or the unique pressures of professional life. Many of my clients are high-functioning individuals who appear capable and composed on the outside, but internally feel overwhelmed, stuck, or burned out. You may be juggling demanding responsibilities, questioning your career path, or simply feeling disconnected from your sense of purpose or self. Using a practical, evidence-based approach like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients gain clarity around their thought patterns, manage stress more effectively, and make meaningful changes in how they think, feel, and respond to challenges. Whether you’re struggling with self-doubt, perfectionism, or the weight of chronic stress, therapy can be a space to reset, recalibrate, and move forward with greater confidence and resilience.
I am passionate about using CBT to assist in identifying and changing negative thoughts and behaviors to improve your overall mental health and life.
