I am an Afro-Dominican psychospiritual clinician. I received a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Monroe College, M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mercy College and I was awarded a certificate in Ayurvedic Health Counseling from Kerala Ayurveda Academy. As a trained integrative therapist, I believe in treating the whole person by addressing mental, physical and spiritual imbalances. I combine traditional healing practices with modern evidence-based techniques, customizing each session to meet the unique needs of clients.
In our first session, we will conduct an evaluation to explore your needs, growth areas, and existing strengths. Together, we will develop a plan to help you address mental and physical imbalances.
My therapeutic style is direct, holistic, and inquisitive, creating a space where clients feel both supported and challenged to foster meaningful growth.

I'm only two sessions in, and the experience has already been phenomenal. Johanna challenges me to think more deeply and answer difficult questions for myself instead of simply giving me the answers. She also consistently reminds me of my worth and the importance of prioritizing myself.
