My name is Bill Massey and I am a licensed clinical social worker practicing in
west central Georgia and east central Alabama. I graduated from the University of Georgia's MSW program in 1993 and became an LCSW in 1996. I have worked in home health and hospice for most of my career with a strong emphasis on geriatrics and dementia care. I have experience in inpatient psychiatric settings and residential services as well.
I am looking to fill a niche that I have seen wanting attention for some time. For many years I have seen elders and their families in their homes but had to refer out any counseling other than crisis intervention to outpatient therapists. The problem is that I have been referring homebound people for outpatient therapy. This is not effective for many reasons.
With the help of Grow Therapy, I intend to offer my services of counseling and case management to people in the comfort of their own homes. I will become a mobile mental health provider to serve a population that has gone largely underserved for all too long. My coverage area for in-home therapy will be Lee, Russell, and Chambers counties in Alabama as well as Muscogee, Chattahoochee, and Harris Counties in Georgia.
I am opening up limited appointment times for virtual counseling as of mid May 2024.

I have worked in the therapy field for a little over 6 years. I have worked in a community-based setting, private practice, and currently working in the school system. I tell my clients, "Therapy is safe place to talk about what you want to talk about." I have worked with all ages of clients, but due to the virtual platform, I think it is best for ages 10 and up. I approach each client with empathy and care to create a safe environment for us to work through whatever concerns you bring to the table. I typically do not come to session with an "agenda", so you are in control of how our session goes. I am always here to guide and help explore but want to make sure you're getting what you need from our time.

Welcome! I’m Tamika of Life in Bloom. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Wedding Officiant. I’m here to help you navigate life's stressful relationships. In our talks, I refer to those stressors as “thorns.” Why thorns, you ask? Great question! Because even the most beautiful roses have some uncomfortable pieces. That doesn’t make them any less beautiful, valuable, or appreciated. I have been commissioned to help couples, families, friends, and any other relationship dynamic find their communication style, boundaries, and build trust. It is truly my joy and my personal life’s work.
Therapy isn’t what we have traditionally seen on television or in film. It is so much more than sitting on a big, comfy couch, sharing your innermost thoughts/feelings. Therapy is beautiful and transformative - and can take work. Don’t worry! I am here to help you every step of the way. Life and all the hats you wear from day to day can be challenging. I encourage and empower you to unlock the power you have inside of you. I promise you it’s there! I also help you reflect on how far you have come in order to celebrate your victories with you - big or small. Kudos to you for seeking help! You are in a safe space. I look forward to working with you and watching you bloom.
I provide counseling for children, teens, and young adults in a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel safe, heard, and understood. My approach is strengths-based, developmentally appropriate, and sensitive to past experiences. In therapy, I help clients build emotional awareness, coping skills, and confidence so they can better manage stress, big emotions, relationships, and everyday challenges. My goal is to support meaningful, lasting change by giving clients practical tools they can use in real life.
In addition to counseling, I offer comprehensive psychological evaluations to help families better understand concerns related to attention and focus (ADHD), autism, learning differences, emotional regulation, anxiety, mood challenges, and executive functioning skills such as organization and self-control. These evaluations are thorough but easy to understand and highlight both strengths and areas needing support. When appropriate, I provide clear diagnoses along with practical, individualized recommendations that families and schools can use right away.

My counseling services integrate existential theory, CBT/REBT modalities, and DBT skills, with a focus on providing quality care to adults. I primarily work with concerns related to lack of meaning, trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. While I emphasize choice and personal responsibility, I also make it a priority to validate each client’s emotional experience. I believe therapy should be about getting better, not just feeling better. To support that growth, I use active, directive, and challenging interventions designed to help clients develop the skills to ultimately help themselves.
Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about your next career step?
I specialize in helping professionals navigate the challenges of anxiety, stress, and burnout so they can move forward with clarity and confidence. Whether you're facing major work decisions, struggling with self-doubt, or simply trying to regain your sense of purpose, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
My approach blends practical career guidance with evidence-based emotional support. Together, we explore what’s behind your stress, identify unhelpful patterns, and develop tools to manage anxiety more effectively. Through this process, clients often discover a renewed sense of direction and the confidence to make meaningful changes in their professional lives.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist that works with children, individuals, couples, and families. I have experience in helping with a number of different concerns including but not limited to: adhd, behavioral concerns, parenting, suicidal ideation, coparenting, communication, conflict resolution, intimacy, trust issues, values, respect, divorce prevention and/or navigation, trauma (childhood, emotional, physical, sexual abuse, ptsd, night terrors), personality disorders (narcissistic, antisocial, borderline), bipolar, anxiety, depression, ocd, phobias, stress, boundaries, and diverse relationships issues (polyamorous, LGBTQ+ included). I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, but I am a person first. I love geeky things like reading fantasy books, getting together with my D&D group, and trying my best to win every board game my wife and I face off in. When you come to counseling, you bring in more than just the things you are struggling with now, but also everything else that makes you who you are. I value getting to know the people I have the privilege of working with and strive to be authentic in every session.

I believe therapy should be grounded, collaborative, and focused on helping you build clarity, stability, and lasting emotional strength.
As a Licensed Psychotherapist serving clients in Florida, Georgia, New Hampshire, and Texas, I am passionate about supporting individuals on their journey toward healing, growth, and reconnection. I believe that true healing is not just about the mind, but also about honoring the body and nurturing the spirit. This belief has shaped my Somatic Insight Therapeutic Approach—one that gently invites you back into relationship with yourself.
With a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, I have seen how powerful it can be when we slow down and begin to listen to what the body is holding. Together, we create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your inner experiences with curiosity and compassion. By weaving together mindfulness, body awareness, and evidence-based therapeutic practices, I help you tune into your emotions, understand your nervous system, and move through your experiences at a pace that feels right for you.
Our work together is collaborative and personalized. We may integrate reflective conversation, breathwork, and gentle somatic practices to help you reconnect with your body, build self-awareness, and find a sense of grounding and steadiness within. My intention is to support you in feeling more at home in yourself—more connected, more resourced, and more empowered in your healing.
Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, chronic illness, life transitions, or the lingering effects of trauma, you don’t have to do it alone. I am here to walk alongside you with care and intention, as you rediscover your strength, reclaim your story, and move toward a deeper sense of balance, peace, and wholeness.

Additionally, she worked as a Military Family Life Counselor for 10 years overseas in Europe (German and Italy) and stateside.
Tara believes that individuals who are entering counseling should feel comfortable and safe which is why she uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an approach that highlights channeling negative thoughts into positive ones. She believes that stressors in one’s life can feel unmanageable, but she helps her clients to maximize their resiliency and come to view the challenge as a bump in the road --a bump that can be moved past into a successful healthier path. Her goal is for all her patients to become open to gaining new perspectives and be willing to explore family dynamics and upbringings that have developed them into the persons they are today. Tara works with her clients to assist them with changing any self-defeating thoughts and behaviors.
She truly believes that caring for yourself and your relationships are the most important task that you will ever have.
