Welcome!! I get it!! Some days life can feel overwhelming for various reasons and you may need someone to talk to. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I provide you with a safe, non-judgmental and supportive environment where you can talk through some of those feelings and emotions. My goal is to help you figure out how to live your best life. I have over 20 years of experience as a social worker working with adults with various issues including, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, trauma, and relationship issues just to name a few. I use a therapeutic approach that is centered on your needs and goals. I provide an environment that enables you to be comfortable so you can have an open conversation. I am here for you! I have found through many years of practice that everyone is unique and so are their needs. Therefore the way I conduct my sessions is centered around you and what works best for you. I get it, some days you don't want to talk about certain things or get "too deep". I meet you where you are. Life is a journey and I look forward to joining you on yours and we will go at your pace.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, this is the time we get to know each other. One of the most important things for me in working with people is developing a trusting therapeutic relationship. I will gather important information about you that will give me a better idea of what brings you to therapy and what you would like to work on. Then we can start setting some goals on the things you would like to accomplish in the future sessions.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I use various therapeutic approaches in our sessions. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which we will explore your thoughts and how they impact your behaviors. I also used Person Centered approach which allows you to take the lead and empowers you to take control over your life. In addition, I understand you want to see positive changes. Therefore I use a solution-focused theraphosid approach that is focused on setting goals and coming up with a plan on how to achieve them.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My strength is that I genuinely care about the people I work with. I feel honored when I am selected to provide therapy for someone because they are trusting me to help them/be there for them and I take that seriously. In sessions, I am very real and laid back and I think it makes coming to therapy enjoyable. I focus on your strengths and build off of them. I love to think outside the box and use a combination of therapeutic approaches based on the individual's needs.
