Hi, I’m Allison. Whether you’re feeling burned out, stuck in unfulfilling patterns, or having challenges in your relationships, therapy can help you recover and feel more grounded. Many of the people I work with are new to therapy. They may not have a specific diagnosis or crisis, but they know something feels “off.” Clients often tell me they feel comfortable opening up with me quickly. If you're feeling overwhelmed or disconnected, know that meaningful change is possible. Let’s work together to help you feel more content, empowered, and like yourself again. Clients often tell me they feel at ease opening up to me. Many feel relieved to have a therapist who offers active guidance, rather than just listening without direction. Finding relief and reconnecting with a sense of peace is more achievable than it might feel right now—and once you start, the process of change often unfolds more quickly than you expect. I approach therapy by looking at the root cause of problems, rather than focusing on one problem at a time. I work from a systemic perspective, which means we will dive into your personal relationships, behavior patterns, and lifestyle choices which are interconnected with the issues you may be facing. If you'd like to learn more about me and my therapy methods, feel free to visit my website at www.mindtalkhealing.com

My approach is holistic and encompasses the whole person, addressing many dimensions of well-being, including biological, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual factors. I work with clients who have dual diagnoses, for example, a mental health disorder and a substance use disorder, or more than one mental illness, for example, bipolar disorder and PTSD. Many of the clients I work with do not meet criteria for PTSD, but have post-traumatic stress that is causing other conditions.

Hi, I’m Cinthya! I'm a Florida-based Licensed Clinical Social Worker working exclusively with adults ages 18+. In order to give you a glimpse of who I am and if we are a good fit, here are some of the points I believe in and stress with my clients: 1. Perfectionism doesn’t exist. 2. You’re stronger and more resilient than you think. 3. No one knows your life like you do. Only you know your truth. 4. Everyone can reach their goals and find the peace they deserve. 5. It takes courage to admit we need help and seek it. 6. Change starts with awareness. 7. There are many ways to see the same situation—challenge your perspective. 8. It’s okay to make mistakes. You’re human and that is a part of life. 9. Emotions are valid, even if they seem "wrong." What matters is how you respond. 10. Your worth is not determine by your productivity and/or how much you do for others. You are deserving of love and respect. With all of that said, my job is not to tell you how to live your life—I’m here to help you overcome your challenges while gaining a greater understanding of yourself.

Choosing a therapist is a deeply personal decision, and I honor the courage it takes to begin this process. If we work together, you can expect a therapeutic relationship built on trust, collaboration, and respect. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can show up as you are—no masks, no pressure—and begin to explore what healing and growth look like for you. My approach is thoughtful and tailored. I draw from evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy, adapting each session to meet your needs and goals. Whether you are navigating anxiety, self-doubt, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, I help you make sense of your experiences, strengthen emotional awareness, and find new ways to move forward. I believe therapy should not just be about coping—it should be about transformation. That might mean learning how to quiet an inner critic, setting healthier boundaries, deepening relationships, or reconnecting with your sense of purpose. We will work at a pace that feels right for you, and I will walk beside you each step of the way with compassion, curiosity, and care. If you are looking for a therapist who listens deeply, challenges gently, and is committed to helping you build a more grounded and empowered version of your life, I would be honored to work with you.

My goal is to help change the perception of therapy and help clients see it as a positive way to support mental health, and just another way of developing one's health, just like with our physical health. I want to guide clients in developing positive changes in their life, so they feel better and healthier, emotionally. Therapy isn’t about changing who you are, it’s about finding possible alternatives to support change in the areas that may be causing problems in our life. Thank you again for looking into ways to be more emotionally healthy, and I am here to help if you decide you would like to get started.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a background working with adults, adoptees, and trauma. My therapeutic approach revolves around building a relationship with my clients and establishing the core issue of what is a challenge for them by facilitating a place for them to be transparent with themselves, judgment-free. I have experience working with all walks of life and have held an assortment of different roles in the field working with social services, foster care, adoption, and healthcare. These experiences have made me well-rounded when it comes to addressing cultures and beliefs that differ from my own. The first step toward getting better is having the courage to ask for help. Let's meet for a session and get to know one another.

I’m a licensed mental health counselor and marriage and family therapist based in Miami, Florida, with over 8 years of experience supporting individuals and couples through life’s emotional challenges. I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, relationship issues, life transitions, and depression, and I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. My style is collaborative, grounded, and compassionate. I believe therapy should be a safe place to explore what’s really going on beneath the surface—and to begin shifting patterns that no longer serve you. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure of what you need, we’ll work together to help you feel more in control, more empowered, and more connected to yourself and the people you care about. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with other evidence-based approaches to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. That means we might gently challenge self-critical thinking, find new ways to manage anxiety or stress, or work on setting healthy boundaries in relationships. I also draw from systems theory in my work with couples and families, helping clients recognize how past dynamics may be influencing present struggles—and how to build new, healthier ways of relating. My clients often tell me they feel a sense of relief just being able to speak openly, without pressure to have all the answers. I believe therapy is not about fixing you—because you're not broken. It’s about giving you the space and tools to care for yourself in a deeper way. If you’re ready to begin this process, I’m here to walk alongside you.

Especially helping clients with stress, relationship issues, parenting, family conflict, addictions (eating disorders and/or substance use), depression, anxiety, grief, ADHD, low self-esteem, women's issues, trauma, behavioral concerns, and mood disorders. Be proud of yourself for taking the first step towards a better more rewarding life. It's not always easy to take time away from your hectic schedule to focus on your own wants and needs. Are you struggling with challenges in life and/or difficulties in a relationship? Or, are you struggling with grief, low self esteem, depression or anxiety? I am an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 1994, who provides a professional voice of guidance. I specialize in, and enjoy, helping individuals, couples or families to navigate through the troubled waters of life. I have found much success counseling couples to improve communication and connection. I have much success in helping individuals to cope with difficult family, work, or personal relationships. I have successfully helped people to walk through loss and grief. I provide solution-oriented therapy. I teach relaxation and mindfulness exercises to people experiencing anxiety and cognitive behavioral techniques to people experiencing depression. For persons experiencing trauma, we will work together, giving a nod to the past, learning how it is impacting the present. My practice is open to all regardless of religious affiliation, race, ethnicity or disability. I incorporate faith-based Christian counseling into the counseling experience, to those seeking.
