I’m a licensed mental health counselor with a background in healthcare, and I’m passionate about helping
people feel stronger, more confident, and more at peace with themselves. I primarily work with individuals
navigating depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and life transitions, especially women who are adjusting to
new phases or challenges in life.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working in the healthcare field. This experience deepened
my understanding of how physical and emotional well-being are connected and gave me a holistic view of
the challenges my clients face. My goal is to help you move forward in a healthy, balanced, and fulfilling way
so you can become the best version of yourself.
Are you struggling with healthy communication in your relationship or family? I support individuals and couples in healing by helping them identify inner strengths, develop essential relationship skills, and build self-confidence. Utilizing my extensive experience working with clients navigating trauma, addiction, anxiety, grief, and depression, I provide a compassionate, safe space to help you thrive. Greetings!

I believe that everyone’s voice deserves to be heard, and everyone deserves to be healed and whole in this life. Consider me as your first responder concerning you!
Hi, I’m Whitney, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (licensed in Florida and Minnesota).
I work with women who are navigating life transitions and feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or emotionally off-balance. Many of the women I support aren’t in crisis—they’re adjusting to change, juggling multiple responsibilities, or noticing that the coping strategies that used to work no longer feel enough. They often come to therapy looking for clarity, validation, and practical tools to help them feel steadier and more confident in this current season of life.
My approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and solution-focused. I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy or emotionally overwhelming to be effective. Instead, I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can talk openly, feel understood, and gain insight into what’s contributing to your stress. Together, we focus on building coping skills, strengthening emotional awareness, and finding realistic ways to reduce stress and improve day-to-day balance.
I work collaboratively with my clients and tailor therapy to fit your goals, personality, and pace. Our work is often short-term and goal-oriented, with an emphasis on helping you feel better equipped to handle life’s transitions within a few months rather than engaging in long-term, intensive therapy.
If you’re looking for a therapist who offers validation, gentle guidance, and practical support during a time of change, I’d be honored to support you.
As a licensed mental health counselor in Florida I have over 14 years of experience. I have treated clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, PTSD and ADHD.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe Therapy doesn’t have to be difficult, and difficult doesn’t mean impossible. This philosophy has led me to helping clients aspire to create their own destiny and to manufacture the change they desire. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic counseling. I will tailor your treatment to meet your unique and specific needs.
If you are hoping to connect with a caring compassionate therapist one who Challenges, validates, and normalizes your concerns you are in the right place.

I specialize in grief and loss, chronic illness, anxiety, depression, and substance use. I also support clients working through anger, building self-awareness, and reaching personal goals. My approach is compassionate, down-to-earth, faith based, focused on creating a safe space where you feel heard and supported.
I have been a therapist for over twenty years. It is an honor to support clients to achieve their goals for joy, peace, and understanding.
I enjoy watching clients "find themselves" again after a period of performing on autopilot. Whatever your goals are, I believe that with the right support you will be successful. I am here to listen and to support you as you explore where you are and where you would like to go.
I believe meaningful change comes from understanding not only what we do, but why we do it. My practice is grounded primarily in psychodynamic psychotherapy, which focuses on identifying the deeper emotional, relational, and unconscious patterns that shape how we experience ourselves, others, and the world. Many of the struggles people face today, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, addiction, and recurring life patterns, often have roots in earlier experiences that continue to influence present-day thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we work to understand these patterns so they no longer have to dictate your life.
Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, I aim to help clients develop greater emotional insight, strengthen their capacity to regulate difficult emotions, improve relationships, and build a more cohesive and authentic sense of self. I believe lasting psychological change occurs when we understand the underlying dynamics that drive our reactions instead of simply learning to manage them.
While psychodynamic therapy serves as the foundation of my work, I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) when it is clinically appropriate. CBT can provide practical strategies for challenging unhelpful thinking patterns, reducing symptoms, and building healthier behavioral habits while complementing the deeper exploratory work of psychodynamic therapy.
I strive to create a therapeutic relationship that is thoughtful, collaborative, and emotionally attuned. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, addiction, personality difficulties, relationship concerns, or simply feel stuck in repeating the same patterns, therapy provides an opportunity to better understand yourself, develop greater resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.
