Welcome to my profile! I am licensed in Georgia, Florida, and Louisiana. I received my Master of Arts in clinical psychology from Argosy University. I have over 21 years of experience. I am also a Certified Case Manager and have a deep understanding of the healthcare system. My therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion, understanding, and evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Psychology, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). Welcome! I provide individual therapy to adults dealing with a variety of challenges including: anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions/adjustment issues, complex trauma, and attachment issues. Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or you have been in therapy before, it is important to choose a therapist that you feel connected to and has experience in treating the areas that align with your needs.
Therapy is an intimate experience, a collaboration between you and the therapist. I take that role seriously and understand that to do my best work, I need to understand each client holistically. I feel like my biggest asset is the ability to see a client's strengths, empower them to achieve their goals, and support them throughout the therapeutic process.
Therapy helps uncover strengths and learn new skills that will allow you to deal with the challenges that arise in life. A successful therapy experience does not mean a person is cured, it means the person has the inner and outer resources to deal with the ups and downs of life. My goal is to help you develop the skills necessary to successfully deal with life, on your own terms.
With warmth, compassion, and a bit of humor, I aim to create a safe, supportive environment to help foster personal growth and healing.
I have experience working in a variety of settings including outpatient, Telehealth therapy , and schools. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and approved Clinical Supervisor.
I look forward to working with you!
I have several years of experience treating individuals, families, and adolescents using a holistic, empathic, and trauma-informed approach. Watching friends and family struggle with mental health and substance abuse issues fueled my passion for helping those who struggle with these difficulties from a place of understanding, patience, and empathy. I received a BA in psychology first, which led to obtaining a substance abuse certificate. I gained experience working with families and individuals and, after some time, I was ready to further my education and obtained a Master of Social Work. This helped me expand my clinical skills and learn more targeted therapy modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, psychoanalytical care, and art therapy. I found these approaches are a great synthesis of neuroscience, trauma, and creativity.

Hi, I’m Cathe and I believe in our ability to break generational traumas, to heal from wounds inflicted by those who didn’t know how or didn’t have the capacity to show up for us; and to learn how to show up for ourselves. Throughout the years I’ve worked with individual who struggled with addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma and provided counseling services to military services member and their families while deployed overseas. I witnessed the significant impact that relationships can have on your overall wellbeing. From my own personal experience; as I worked to unlearn what was no longer serving me and to rediscover my worth, I was presented with how fundamentally transformative this process can be. It’s led me to learn how to live with greater peace, to create and sustain connections and to feel safe and secure in love. It’s not an easy process nor is it a painless journey but it’s worth it.
