Behaviors, family stressors and trauma can affect the family unit. My specialty is working with children, families and young adults between ages 5-25 years old healing from trauma, managing anger, anxiety, depression and more. I began my work in the field in 2007 and have been fully licensed since 2017. I consider myself to be an exceptionally empathetic and caring counselor who meets my clients where they're at. I will push my clients to experience emotions and to sit with them in ways they haven't before. However, I do this in a safe manner where we simply expand the limits each time and create safety in each session to fully allow the client to embrace the process. I strive to help my clients make sense of their life and the experiences they've had. I have great respect for each individual's journey and understand there is value in all of us. I strive for all of my clients to feel seen, heard, respected, accepted, and not judged. From the very first session, my clients feel heard through my exceptional empathic listening skills. I ask evocative questions to get to the heart of the matter and to push the client to think more in depth and perhaps even with a different perspective about struggles or experiences that have caused them strife.
Hello there! My name is Elizabeth Taylor and I am in Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have been working as a counselor for the past 9 years, although I have been working in the mental health field for much longer. I began working as a Mental Health Technician when I was an Airman in the United States Air Force in 2007. I worked closely with military men and women returning from deployments and experiencing symptoms of PTSD. I led Anger Management and Stress Management groups. This experience grew my desire to enter into a field that involved helping those struggling with mental health challenges to find healing. I separated from the Air Force and went into grad school. Since graduating, I have worked as a therapist with several different populations, including families involved with the foster care system, adult inmates in a prison, youth in the Juvenile Justice system, adults in community mental health, children in the school setting, and, most recently, adults and children in private practice. I have a passion for working with those suffering with anxiety, OCD, and trauma. I have specialized training in EMDR to help treat trauma, as well as ERP, which has been shown to be the "Gold Standard" treatment for OCD. I am also certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), which guides much of my approach to emotion regulation.
I am a seasoned and experienced Licensed Health Counselor who is passionate about wellness and providing a non-judgmental and safe space for all individuals. I have enormous compassion for people going through life's challenges and transitions and I feel privileged to work with those who are seeking support. Through a strengths-based, trauma-informed and person-centered therapeutic approach, I recognize the importance of building a relationship with clients to establish realistic and attainable goals together.
I have experience working with adults, couples, and adolescents with problems including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, addiction, drug abuse, trauma, intimacy issues, LGBTQ-related issues, behavioral issues, post-traumatic stress disorder and couples therapy including sexual issues. I am a Board-Certified Mental Health Counselor, Sex Therapist and Addictions Counselor.
Are you ready to RESTART your life? Whether you self-medicate with drugs, alcohol, sex, shopping, food, have stress and anxiety or crave personal development, I can help. We work together as a team to get to the root cause of the issues and stressors you are experiencing and begin removing them and learning ways to have a more productive, positive life.
I love what I do and feel privileged to assist my clients in creating their emotional well-being. My goal is to help you achieve self-actualization and support. I have been a therapist for over 15 years, and I believe that an effective therapist provides compassion, empathy, creativity, and a place of safety and support. I believe therapy is an investment one makes in themselves. I offer individual therapy to people of all ages with a wide range of emotional, behavioral and relationship issues. Life is tough, and everyone needs support. We work together on the skills to support your emotional well-being.
I also work with; teenagers dealing with anxiety and stress related to adjustment issues and social/ academic pressures; families to support parents in parenting skills and behavioral management; individuals with anxiety/depression, to address sleep issues, interpersonal/relationship issues, using mindfulness and self-care in healthy choices.
Using a collaborative approach, I help my clients address and acknowledge negative patterns, engage in better decision-making, build stronger relationships, and create attainable goals. I utilize both cognitive behavioral and solution-focused theories to help articulate concerns and goals and work towards them healthily and positively. If you find yourself overwhelmed, stressed or stuck in a negative rut and want a more productive life, schedule an appointment. I get results where others fail!
I specialize in Trauma. I'm down to earth and real, with a side of wit and compassion. I have a background in crisis; I have worked in Psychiatric Hospitals, Medical Hospitals, Emergency Departments and Trauma Centers. I believe that empowerment is an essential and powerful tool in the healing process. I approach the therapist-client relationship with an open heart and mind, building upon trust, collaboration, and empathy to produce positive, transformative outcomes. I seek to facilitate change by entering the client’s psychological world, utilizing a phenomenological lens; this allows me to focus on the lived experiences of each individual and the personal meaning behind their circumstances past, present, and future to determine the most effective therapeutic interventions. My holistic approach to psychotherapy focuses on the overall relationship between mind, body & spirit. I have experience in helping clients with LGBTQ+ related issues, relationship issues, life transitions, family conflicts, coping with grief, coping with loss, motivation, and self esteem. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.

We all have a fundamental need to feel known, cared for and understood and I am honored to have a career in which I can be that person for others. The therapeutic process is hard to explain and better to be experienced. As we feel known, cared for and understood by not only another but with time, ourselves, it’s a special kind of magic that can bring about deep healing and shifts.
A little bit about me; I was born and raised in Miami, Florida and have also lived in Boston, Massachusetts and Boulder, Colorado. I incorporate mindfulness techniques and play therapy to create an engaging and effective therapeutic environment. With a deep commitment to fostering resilience and personal growth, I strive to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those I work with, equipping them with the tools they need to thrive.
I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) woman, a proud veteran, and someone who knows what it’s like to carry invisible weight. I became a mental health counselor because I believe in real conversations, trust built over time, and having a space where you don’t have to hide what you’re feeling.
People who work with me often say they feel like they can finally exhale. I bring calm, compassion, and honesty into the room. I’m not here to judge or tell you how to live your life. I’m here to walk beside you as you figure things out—whether that’s making sense of the past, dealing with hard relationships, or just trying to feel more like yourself again.
I’ve worked with people who didn’t even realize how much they were holding in until they had someone to talk to. I know that reaching out can feel scary or uncomfortable. That’s okay. You don’t need to have everything figured out to start. You don’t need to call what you’re feeling “trauma” or “anxiety” if that doesn’t feel right to you. All you need is the sense that something needs to shift—and the willingness to take that first step.
Outside of work, I’m grounded by my own healing practices, community, and culture. I value humor, kindness, and realness. You don’t have to show up as anyone but yourself.
If you’re reading this and wondering if things could be different—you’re not alone. And you don’t have to go through it alone.
Do you find yourself struggling with feelings of anxiety, depression, or substance use disorder issues? Are you struggling with traumatic memories and a sense of overwhelm? This process often includes identifying long-standing patterns, strengthening emotional boundaries, and building healthier ways of responding to stress, relationships, and internal pressure.

My name is Natasha Mcneal, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor through the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling. I have significant experience treating children, adolescents and adults struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, among other concerns. I feel passionate about normalizing therapy and helping clients clarity and inner peace. I believe that you are the expert in your life and I would feel honored to help you maximize your potential and find fulfillment through this journey we call life.
It takes courage to seek out change and I praise you for allowing yourself to take this first step. Let's connect – I'd love to learn more about you!
I am currently accepting new clients for individual sessions via teletherapy.
I have been practicing as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida for the past 23 years and am also a Licensed Therapist in Virginia, largely with a focus in the areas of depression, anxiety, thought disturbance, addiction, emotion regulation, relationship distress, and self-esteem. I feel many of the responses we struggle with are connected to a traumatic event (or perceived trauma) from the past. Currently, my primary focus has been in the individual realm, with a focus on relationship growth.
I will encourage you to prioritize the areas you wish to address in therapy and tailor my approach on an individual basis. I believe in client autonomy so the areas that are addressed are the areas you want to address.
I draw on several treatment modalities (including, but not limited to, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy) to allow you to further develop your strengths and help you meet all of your treatment plan goals at a speed that works best for you. I also have completed training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy as well as the Developmental Model for Couples and integrate both of these approaches into my relational therapy practice.
Overall, I help you to see that managing the stressor is more important than just managing the stress as it will allow you to cope with anything that comes your way.
BROKEN CRAYONS STILL COLOR! And I am living proof of that! Trauma, mistakes, bad decisions, regrets....none of it defines who we TRULY are inside. These experiences help us to grow stronger and learn more about ourselves in the long run. Growth and healing is what it's all about.
Hi! I'm Sabrina. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of working with children, adults, and families. I bring that experience to the therapy room. I have a high emotional intelligence, and I believe that EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION is a SUPERPOWER!!
I'm an advocate for family preservation and women's empowerment. Women play central roles in nurturing families and strengthening communities. However, they can lose themselves while caring for others. I love to help women prioritize their own self-care needs to help them be the best version of themselves when they show up for others. Let me remind you of who you are!
I especially enjoy working with teenagers and helping to bridge the communication gap within the family unit that often shows up as children get older. I am Christian and I have a wealth of experience with African American families and am LGBTQ+ friendly.
I offer a solution focused approach to therapy. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy empowers clients to own their abilities in solving life’s problems and recognize their strengths. Rather than traditional psychotherapy that focuses on how a problem was derived, SFT allows for a goal-oriented focus to problem-solving.
I am available in the late afternoons/evenings, and I am accepting new clients.
