Everyday is a series of small revolutions, realizations, adjustments, and changes that expand and contract within our beings. Therapy is a place to release, process, unpack, and unwind. Essentially, it's space to breathe and reconnect.
Show yourself kindness and compassion. You do deserve the best life has to offer! Give yourself a breather, a pat on the back, and a smile as you embark upon your day.
What stops you from leading a happy, productive life? What causes you stress, anxiety and depression? I believe the answer to living a happy successful life rests in our relationship with ourselves and the people we choose to interact with on a daily basis. Self awareness is the key cornerstone to emotional intelligence.
I earned my Masters in Social Work from Columbia University and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, practicing in the state of Florida. Thank you for taking time to learn a little about me. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Addictions Professional with over 28 years of counseling experience in clinical, private and educational settings. I practice Client-centered therapy. For those who are unfamiliar with Client-centered therapy it is based on the practice that the CLIENT is best able to decide what to explore and mark as a goal of treatment. I empower all my clients without compromising empathy. Whatever the reason any individual, couple, or family comes to me, I challenge their skillset to solve problems and restore resolve; not simply provide short-term solutions. The first step to achieve this is to build a rapport with essential empathy and unconditional positive regard.
I believe in relationships. Seems a little elementary but one's physical, mental, and overall wellness is dependent on relations that we have with each other. No matter how large or small one's family is, and/or social circle we were all meant to establish and grow relationships. No level of true self-reflection would escape this fact. I witnessed this to be true in all of my clients as with myself.
I currently reside Central Florida with my wife, son, and three daughters. As a family we enjoy an active lifestyle supportive of one another and the family dynamic.
I welcome the opportunity to work with you, feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

I fell in love with psychological studies in high school. Becoming a therapist has fulfilled my curiosity about human existence and my quest for happiness. I used therapy to overcome my own struggle with fears, shame, and self-doubt, which has affirmed my faith in the helping profession. I have learned through training and personal experiences that all human beings have the same basic quests in life and that we all deserve a chance to develop our unique potential, contribute uniquely to the tapestry of life, and be happy. I have also learned that human growth can only lead to spiritual development and discovery. My growth in understanding the common threads of humanity helps me treat my clients with respect and compassion. I have had extensive training in CBT, EMDR, mindfulness, trauma-focused, and insight-oriented therapies. My inclination is to use an integrated approach that meets clients where they are and helps propel them forward to achieve their objectives.

Mental illness is as real as any physical illness. We talk normally about cancer and diabetes, although the same should apply to mental illness. Emotional and mental health are just as important as the physical health of a human being. The emotional trauma that a brain endures in various of the human life cycle can be damaging and in the long run, just as detrimental as a psychical illness.
People donate their organs, but they cannot donate their brains. Some people live with human-made hearts, but there is no such thing as human-made brains. I believe that our brain is the most important organ in our human body, so why don’t we start taking good care of it?
Therapy is not only for people with mental illness. Therapy is for everyone. We all have faced or currently face some hardships in life. Talking to a therapist can help you deeply in improving your mental health, decrease your stress and live with more joy and intention! Make your appointment today!

Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I've had the privilege of working with individuals in diverse mental health settings, from emergency departments and psychiatric facilities to private practices. This experience has given me a deep understanding of the challenges people face, and I'm truly passionate about helping them find healing and growth.
I'm also EMDR trained, which means I have specialized training in helping people process and heal from trauma. I often work with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and overall life goals.
My biggest goal is to create a warm, supportive, and safe space for you. I strive to be a compassionate, authentic, and respectful guide, walking alongside you on your journey. You can expect a judgment-free environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore what's most important to you.
I have been a practicing social worker for more than 30 years . Much of this experience has been working in a large public teaching hospital in Miami, Florida. The scope of service that the hospital provides is quite comprehensive which afforded me opportunities to work with a very diverse population . i have counseled patients and their families dealing with a variety of illnesses, both physical and mental health, survivors of sexual assault, and also providing counseling to patients in a correctional setting. I like challenging situations. My style of counseling is very eclectic, depends on the client and their unique set of problems. This can range from client centered, solution oriented or cognitive behavioral as many people are coming to therapy to learn new ways of thinking and alternative coping strategies.
For the past two years, I have been involved in teletherapy providing psychotherapy to clients that are experiencing such problems as anxiety, depression, employment, relationship, and interpersonal difficulties. Also I have been providing counseling to teenagers dealing with the above issues and involving their parents when indicated.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who is certified in addiction treatment. I have been working in a community mental health center for the past 10 years. I have served a variety of populations including those suffering from pervasive mental illness, anxiety, addiction, and severe depression. For 3 years I was the therapist for Adult Drug Court in Nassau County, helping those previously incarcerated for drug use charges to overcome addiction and rebuild their lives within the community. I currently serve on the Crisis Response team for my agency which intervenes during mental health crisis and am the Clinical Team Leader for the FACT IL program which helps individuals in crisis achieve stabilization after release from a Crisis Stabilization Unit. I am certified to work with First Responders, I am a Military spouse, and have a background in Christian Formation.
You DESERVE to Re-SET, To Re-FUEL, To Re-CHARGE. And then TAKE FLIGHT! Since entering the field of therapy I have learned to ascribe to the adage “all behavior has meaning.” Yes, ALL behavior. A deep curiosity for why we all act and think the way we do coupled with my own life’s challenges and experiences has led me to a place of compassion for not only my own life choices but compassion for others. Our thoughts lead to feelings, which leads to action. We are not always proud of our actions. As a woman, mother, wife, and veteran I know all too well the shame that comes with our personal choices and behaviors. I also know there is also a fear of JUDGEMENT when it comes to considering therapy. This is a no-judgement zone and if you are seeking a different feeling and action in your life then you have landed at the right place!
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with nearly 17 years of experience working with youth, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and military members, veterans, and their families, to improve their mental health. I earned my Master's degree Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Thomas University. I also completed a certification in loss and healing and a certification in trauma as well as two additional years of post-graduate study, passed the advanced national clinical board, and gained my professional license in the state of Florida afterward. I have chosen to continue my education by taking hundreds of hours of additional courses in the neurobiology of trauma, grief and loss, abuse recovery, child development, parenting, and communication.
We all encounter obstacles in our lives. I am confident that I will be able to assist you on this journey providing you with enlightenment and new techniques that will enable you to be able to cope with whatever challenges or obstacles you may be facing in life. Hi,
I am Kamala, a FL and GA LMHC. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Jacksonville University in 2003 and my master's in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2015. I have worked as a mental health counselor for five years. However, I have been in the field of helping people for 18 years, starting as a case manager at a homeless shelter and later as a special education teacher. What can I can say? People are my niche.
Helping individuals get through life's difficulties is my purpose. The thing about it is, we may not be able to live 100% symptom-free, but we can live productive, fulfilling lives even with some discomfort. That may sound daunting, but I think it's realistic. Do you know why? Because even when we get through one thing, another thing is somewhere on the timeline waiting. I'm here to help you get through your "thing" now and prepare you for your "thing" later.
Hope to meet you soon.

Life can be stressful and overwhelming at times. We may often find ourselves feeling anxious, disconnected, overwhelmed or unsure of how to move forward in our relationships, career or family life. It can be difficult for us to find our sense of purpose. You don't have to navigate these challenges alone. As a licensed mental health therapist with over 26 years of experience, I am dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families as they work through life transitions, emotional struggles, grief, and relationship difficulties. I have extensive experience working with clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, substance abuse, and couples dynamics. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded. I feel therapy works best when clients feel safe, respected, and truly heard. I integrate evidence-based therapeutic practices while tailoring each session to the client's unique goal and needs. My wish is to help the client build insight, strengthen resilience, and move toward meaningful change. It is very important for me to provide a supportive, safe and non-judgmental environment to assist clients in feeling comfortable , supported, and free to share at their own pace.
Congratulations on taking the first step towards healing, despite feeling worried or unsure, perhaps even hopeful, despite misgivings. Choosing to change is difficult, and you are doing it!! With 26 years of practice, I bring professional expertise, personal understanding, sincerity, warmth and caring to your healing journey. Whether you’re navigating life solo or in a relationship, unresolved childhood trauma can quietly shape your patterns, reactions, and relationships. I help individuals and couples uncover those early wounds and start healing—through psychotherapy grounded in neuroscience and mindfulness. Because healing isn’t just talk; it’s nervous system deep. The body keeps the score, but you get to rewrite the story. Let’s create the life you were always meant to live. Not all therapies or therapists are created equal, as you know if you are still struggling with the same issues. Time for a change.
If you want to feel better about yourself, confident, excited about life, build healthier relationships, and become your best self, welcome to creating your best life. Together, we'll integrate Mind/Body/Spirit approaches with classical therapeutic interventions tailored to your unique needs.

Hi! I'm Eileen.
Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, or relationship issues? Since the onslaught of Covid 19, many people have presented with anxiety and depression who have never had symptoms in the past. We have experienced a time of uncertainty unknown to us. I empower clients of all ages to manage anxiety and depression, as well as provide tools to help. Some of my modalities include Solution-Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Psychotherapy. An integrated approach can be used as well. I have been described as a good, caring, sensitive, and energetic listener. I love being a therapist and enjoy seeing my clients grow over time due to putting in the necessary work.
I have a background in Strategic Intervention Life Coaching and integrate the methods I used successfully in my Life Coaching business into my therapy sessions with my clients in helping them to clarify their goals, identify obstacles holding them back, and then along with the client, help them come up with strategies for overcoming the obstacles.
I look forward to the opportunity to work with YOU!!
