We all struggle to get through life. Sometimes it feels like we are sinking instead of swimming and there is no one around to help you keep your head above water. I enjoy helping people who want to succeed in making their life meaningful and fulfilling while decreasing their emotional dysregulation, stress, and feeling overwhelmed with life. I provide the space you need to share your concerns and struggles and work with you to overcome your obstacles.
Thank you for considering me as your personal mental health therapist and emotions coach. Over the last few years, we have collectively endured traumatic, distressing, and challenging times that have reshaped how we view the world and how we choose to move forward within it. For many, this has meant clinging to familiar beliefs for comfort. For others, the weight of trauma, hopelessness, and fatigue has left them feeling stuck, unable to access their inner strengths or resilience. I believe that in those moments, we all need someone to help guide us back from the darkness into the light. I want to be that beacon of light for you.
I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with more than 15 years of counseling experience and over 20 years of serving families. My treatment philosophy is rooted in the belief that every individual has strengths that can be nurtured to foster healing and growth. By combining psychotherapy and clinical social work theories within a strength-based model, I help clients build coping strategies, discover new tools, and reclaim their sense of well-being.
Our work together will focus on developing a trusting, supportive, and confidential therapeutic relationship—one that is grounded in empathy, respect, and validation, without pity or blame. My practice integrates Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, all within a behavioral change framework. These approaches allow me to tailor therapy to your unique needs, helping you move forward with resilience, clarity, and hope.
Healing is a journey, and you don’t have to walk it alone. My role is to walk beside you, providing guidance, insight, and encouragement as you rediscover your strength and reclaim your light.
Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) currently based in Florida. I graduated with my masters in Social Work from the University of South Florida. I have experience working with a wide range of individuals, including, Spanish speaking clients, Muslim clients, young adults, teens, and the LGBTQ community. I believe working with a wide range of individuals is imperative to the type of work I want to do.
Hi, I'm Nicole Bakewell, MS, LMHC, NCC, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I believe everyone deserves a safe, compassionate space where they can feel genuinely seen, heard, understood, and accepted without judgment.
My approach to therapy is warm, authentic, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful healing begins with connection. I strive to create an environment where you can show up exactly as you are, without feeling pressured to have everything figured out. Therapy isn't about being perfect; it's about understanding yourself, recognizing patterns, healing emotional wounds, and discovering healthier ways to move forward.
I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, attachment wounds, infidelity, grief, life transitions, and challenges with self-worth. I am especially passionate about helping clients understand how past experiences influence their present emotions, behaviors, and relationships.
In our sessions, you can expect a balance of compassion, honesty, encouragement, and gentle accountability. I'm not a therapist who simply sits back and listens. I believe in meaningful conversations, thoughtful questions, practical tools, and helping you connect the dots between where you've been and where you want to go.
I recognize that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, especially when you've spent so much time being strong for everyone else. My goal is to help you feel comfortable enough to explore the difficult things while also recognizing your resilience, strengths, and capacity for growth.
Whether you're working through painful experiences, rebuilding trust, strengthening relationships, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
You don't have to navigate life's challenges alone, and you don't have to have all the answers before beginning. Sometimes, the most meaningful changes begin with simply feeling understood.
As a counselor, I believe that healing begins with understanding — both of ourselves and of the patterns that shape how we live, think, and feel.
My approach is person-centered, strength-based, and compassionate. I deeply believe in meeting clients where they are, and I honor the pace at which each person is ready to move. Growth takes time, and every step forward is meaningful. I hold the belief that we each already carry the strength, wisdom, and resilience we need within us — sometimes we just need help uncovering it. By gently shifting away from unhelpful patterns and learning to embrace more empowering ways of thinking and being, we make room for courage, clarity, and transformation.
Most importantly, I want clients to know that this deep and necessary inner work doesn't have to be done alone. As a counselor, my goal is to walk alongside you — with honesty, care, and encouragement — as you navigate life’s challenges and rediscover what’s possible for you.

I’m passionate about supporting people as they grow, heal, and reconnect with their strengths. My approach is warm, collaborative, and empowering—I believe therapy works best when you feel truly seen, heard, and supported. Together, we’ll create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can openly explore what’s holding you back, gain clarity around your goals, and take meaningful steps toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
In our work, we’ll focus on breaking unhelpful thought patterns, building emotional resilience, and developing practical, real-world tools you can use right away. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, mood challenges, ADHD, and stress related to relationships, work, and major life changes.
Choosing to start therapy is a powerful act of self-awareness and courage. I’m here to walk alongside you. Offering support, insight, and encouragement while celebrating every step forward on your journey.
Hi, I'm Sharon, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida. I received my Bachelor's degree from Tulane University, a Master's degree in Social Work from Barry University, and have been practicing in a variety of settings for over 30 years. Our journey in this world can sometimes present us with confusion and challenges. Making the choice to engage in therapy is most definitely a life-changing decision. Whether this is your first time reaching out or you've decided to return to therapy, I'm glad your making the right choice in finding your peace and taking care of you!
With Grow Therapy, I am taking clients via telehealth services on Saturday mornings. If you would like in-person appointments, or to be seen on another day of the week, please reach out so we can discuss other situations that may work best for you.
I first started as a psychologist in Cuba and worked specifically with children and adults predominantly family dysfunctions and behavioral problems. I then came to the U.S. and worked as a case manager, which gave me a more hands-on experience in the field. This opportunity inspired a more rounded approach to the way I can help clients and their families.
I now work as a counselor with a more wide-spread clientele. Thanks to this background, I’ve had experience working with all age groups and different cultures, as well as different sexual orientations. I prefer to adjust my therapeutic methods to my client’s needs, but I mostly practice psychoeducation, person-centered, and CBT.
