Hi, I’m Suzeline.
You might be used to holding everything together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or mentally drained on the inside. Maybe your mind doesn’t slow down, you overthink things, or you feel stuck in a cycle where it’s hard to feel motivated, present, or like yourself.
Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, low mood, or a mix of both, it can feel exhausting carrying so much and not having a space to just be honest about it.
Therapy with me is a place where you don’t have to perform or have it all figured out. You can show up as you are. I create a warm, supportive space where you can talk things through, make sense of what you’re feeling, and start to feel more grounded and in control.
In our work together, we’ll look at the patterns, thoughts, and pressures that may be keeping you stuck. We’ll also focus on practical ways to help you manage anxiety, improve your mood, set boundaries, and move through life with more clarity and confidence.
I received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Social Psychology from Lehigh University in 2003 and graduated from Columbia University in 2007 with a Master of Science in Social Work.
I started Endurance Counseling, my private practice, in 2023 after working as a pediatric transplant social worker at Levine Children's Hospital since 2019. I specialize in health/illness, medical education, medical/social trauma, anxiety/depression, chronic pain/disability, grief/bereavement, and loss.
I am a thoughtful, sensitive, empathic, collaborative, and hard-working clinician who genuinely cares and strives to make a difference in the well-being of each of my patients.
My passion is working with children and families impacted by medical issues and chronic pain. I have extensive experience working in hospital settings providing a range of supportive services to patients diagnosed with acute and chronic medical conditions.
I am Magaly Gomez, a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor with an online practice in Weston, Florida. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, using a blend of traditional talk therapy and mindfulness techniques. My holistic approach emphasizes the mind-body connection, fostering self-acceptance and personal growth. I welcome clients aged 9 to 80 for individual and family counseling. Click the link below to schedule an appointment.
I bring over 20 years of experience working with individuals across all ages—adults, young adults, teens, and children. Throughout my career, I’ve supported people navigating a wide range of challenges, including trauma, faith-related concerns, chronic illness, anxiety, depression, substance use, men’s issues, self-esteem struggles, decision-making difficulties, and grief and loss.
My path into counseling began with a master’s degree in pastoral counseling. Over time, I felt called to serve a broader community, which led me to pursue a second master’s degree in counseling psychology. This training allows me to integrate both clinical expertise and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience.
At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I believe healing happens when you feel genuinely heard, supported, and safe. My primary goal is to create a space where you can talk openly about the parts of your life that feel heavy, confusing, or painful—without judgment or pressure.
I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, tailoring them to your unique needs and goals. Together, we’ll identify what feels most helpful for you and build a path forward that supports your growth, clarity, and well-being.
