Hello! I’m Dr. Liana Lorenzo-Echeverri, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) dedicated to supporting women, moms, and moms-to-be across Florida through online therapy. With both a Master’s and a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University, I bring a blend of professional expertise and heartfelt understanding to every session.
As a mother of two, I deeply understand the joys and challenges that come with pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and navigating life transitions. I specialize in maternal mental health, including prenatal and postpartum support, grief from miscarriage, and helping women explore meaningful life decisions around parenthood and identity. My passion is creating a safe, empowering, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your goals, strengthen your resilience, and build the life you envision.
Over the years, I’ve helped women as young as 18 recognize their inner strengths, gain clarity through change, and overcome stress, anxiety, or uncertainty. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by motherhood, considering whether to have children, or simply navigating the complexities of modern life, I work collaboratively with you to uncover strategies that promote balance, confidence, and well-being.
My approach centers on understanding you — your story, your values, and your unique experiences — so we can tailor therapy to meet your needs. I’m here to support you, help you feel heard, and empower you to face life’s transitions with courage and confidence.
If you’re ready to begin, I invite you to schedule a therapy session so we can explore how working together may support your goals.
Hi, I’m Crystal Rollefson, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. Since moving from Hawaii in late 2021, I’ve been working with a small private practice while also beginning to grow my own practice.
I hold a Certificate in Play Therapy from Capella University and am currently pursuing credentials to become a Registered Play Therapist in the state of Florida. My professional journey began in substance abuse counseling, where I spent two years supporting adults with addictions, criminal justice involvement, and co-occurring mental health conditions.
My approach to therapy is integrative and holistic, combining client-centered care, cognitive-behavioral techniques (CBT), mindfulness, and play therapy principles. I believe in empowering individuals by helping them recognize and build upon their strengths—even when those strengths feel hard to find. Together, we can uncover them.
I’m also a strong advocate for self-care and self-love as essential components of mental and physical well-being. Outside of the therapy room, you’ll find me practicing yoga, enjoying CrossFit, lifting at the gym, camping, or paddleboarding. I strive to bring the same energy of balance and intentional living into my work with clients.
My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can heal, grow, and thrive—at your own pace and on your own terms.

You have taken the first step towards empowerment in your life by wanting to make a change! I have been where you are right now.
I have experienced anxiety and irrational thoughts. I can totally relate to what you are going through. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Syndrome, an autoimmune disorder that mimics depression and bipolar, multiple sclerosis, and stage three chronic kidney disease.
For a while, I never wanted to leave my house, get out of bed and found it difficult to face the day. I was able to overcome so many things and so can you. I always encourage my clients to get a medical check-up prior to mental health treatment to rule out any physical health symptoms.

Relationships are important. They can bring us joy, and connection, and opportunities to grow. You talk to friends and loved ones, you spend time with them, and you likely do caring things for them.
And, how much time do you spend deepening your relationship with yourself? Do you pay attention to how you talk to yourself, how you spend time with yourself, how you care for
your Self?
It is my experience both personally and professionally that when we spend time working on our relationship with Self, not only do we become happier, and more peaceful internally- our external relationships with others improve as well.
Would you like to work on your relationship with yourself?
Let’s do it!

I am currently accepting new clients for individual sessions via teletherapy.
I have been practicing as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida for the past 23 years and am also a Licensed Therapist in Virginia, largely with a focus in the areas of depression, anxiety, thought disturbance, addiction, emotion regulation, relationship distress, and self-esteem. I feel many of the responses we struggle with are connected to a traumatic event (or perceived trauma) from the past. Currently, my primary focus has been in the individual realm, with a focus on relationship growth.
I will encourage you to prioritize the areas you wish to address in therapy and tailor my approach on an individual basis. I believe in client autonomy so the areas that are addressed are the areas you want to address.
I draw on several treatment modalities (including, but not limited to, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy) to allow you to further develop your strengths and help you meet all of your treatment plan goals at a speed that works best for you. I also have completed training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy as well as the Developmental Model for Couples and integrate both of these approaches into my relational therapy practice.
Overall, I help you to see that managing the stressor is more important than just managing the stress as it will allow you to cope with anything that comes your way.
With 40 years of experience as a therapist and clinical supervisor, I bring a wide variety of methods and techniques to my practice and to my students, with solid expertise working with alcohol and drug abusers, children at risk, seniors, families and couples.

My specialties are working with clients who may be suffering from traumatic incidents, substance abuse, various forms of anxiety (PTSD, stress disorders), depression, self-esteem, and gender identity.
Making the decision to receive any form of mental health counseling can be taxing, however, the results are often positive and rewarding. Learning to face your fears in a healthy and appropriate manner is a sign of growth and maturity. It is not an easy task. You will cry, laugh, and maybe feel a little uncomfortable at times. This is just the therapeutic process working to make you emotionally stronger.
*Please note that my preference for treatment sessions are individual and group therapy. However, I do provide a limited number of couples or family therapy sessions for special circumstances.

Psychology has always been my passion and I truly love working in the field to provide a warm environment for my clients to grow. I am a licensed mental health clinician (LMHC) with 8+ years of experience providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents and adults. I have found that I most enjoy providing therapeutic services to adolescents and adults and am knowledgeable in a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, conduct disorders, substance abuse and difficulty adjusting to life changes. Over the past few years, I have found that I have gained a great deal of personal and professional experience with woman suffering from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). This is a very underserved population and I hope to help change that one client at a time. Other underserved populations I have extensive experience with are adult children of alcoholics and those suffering from religious trauma syndrome.
Peace. Happiness. Love. Success. We seek them. We want them. As we see them within reach, we are knocked down by the challenges and difficulties of life. We find, instead, lives that are filled with anxiety, sadness, grief, trauma, loss and failure. I know this too well. I have experienced this in my own life and in the life of my clients. It does not matter where you are in your life. I have had celebrity clients at the top of their field. I have worked with gold medal athletes. I have worked with businessmen and women, housewives, families, adolescents. I have also worked with those who have lost everything to the ravishes of substance use and with men serving life in prison.
It is possible to navigate the dangerous waters of life, but you will need a guide. I am that guide. I have excellent education from Palm Beach Atlantic University. I have a wealth of experience. I have over three decades of experience as a husband, father, grandfather, youth pastor, counselor and university professor. I have worked in the church, private practice (in Florida and the Bahamas), community mental health (specializing in crisis and families with at-risk-adolescents), foster care, substance abuse, juvenile justice and the prisons. I have maintained my relevance by teaching at the university level, advising a best-selling author on the psychological aspects of his book, and serving as a consultant to other mental health agencies. I have wonderful experience working with anxiety, depression, anger, parenting issues, challenging children and teenagers, grief, trauma, substance use issues, family and relationship issues, LGBT issues, and other issues and concerns. I have helped my clients find peace with themselves, with others and in their situations. I have helped my clients find happiness, even amid loss. I have helped my clients find belonging and love in healthy and supportive relationships. I have helped my clients increase their ability to succeed by changing their thinking.
One of the foundations of my life and my work was written by M. Scott Peck in The Road Less Travelled. He wrote, “Life is difficult. This is a great truth, one of the greatest truths… Life is a series of problems. Do we want to moan about them or solve them? Do we want to teach our children to solve them?” Let’s start today to solve some of life’s problems and to begin to grasp peace, happiness, love and success.

🌿 My Approach to Counseling
Forty-four years ago, I was trained as a Holistic Social Worker, and since then I’ve had the privilege of working across the Americas — with people of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures. Over the decades, I’ve learned that healing looks different for everyone, and that true change happens when we feel safe, respected, and understood.
My counseling approach is person-centered, meaning that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to support and strengthen your natural motivation to change. There are many healing traditions in the world, and I will always honor you and your choices as we find what works best for your journey.
I combine cognitive (thought-based) and somatic (body-based) techniques to help you bridge the mind–body connection. My specialty is working with stress and trauma, helping you understand how your nervous system responds and what it needs to return to balance.
It’s important to remember: trauma lives in the nervous system — not in the event itself.
When your system becomes dysregulated, symptoms arise because the residual energy from those experiences hasn’t been released.
If your system is stuck on “High”, you may feel rage, hyperactivity, anxiety, panic, or find yourself engaging in high-risk behaviors.
If your system is stuck on “Low”, you may experience depression, exhaustion, numbness, disconnection, or hopelessness.
Together, we’ll gently guide your nervous system toward discharge and regulation, helping your body and mind restore calm, clarity, and connection.
I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can connect, answer your questions, and see if working together feels like the right fit.
Social work chose me! When I wrote my personal essay for my MSW, I realized social work had always surrounded me. I remember helping elderly neighbors, teaching friends how to count money, and researching services for my autistic brother. There were so many events between those gaps and yet to come. I always desired to help people. My brother’s diagnosis widened my eyes to my calling, but life had other plans for me and I became a secretary. As a secretary, I found myself being hired in the mental health arena, including the areas of AIDS research, mental health, addiction services, and college counseling. Social work is my second career but it's always been my first passion. I pull from both my personal and professional experiences and allow these experiences to teach and mold me.
Hi, thanks for stopping by!
The founding principles I have based my professional practice on are: empathy, respect, non-judgement and self-awareness. Very well acquainted personally and professionally with Anxiety, I have developed a specialty in this area. My approach to Anxiety and Mental Health in general, is one of "working with" rather than "fighting against". I have found it effective to start therapy by focusing on where the client is at on any given moment, and together working our way to where the client wants to be. My therapy style is Solution-focused, with emphasis on Cognitive-Behavioral techniques, also informed by Systems Theory, Humanistic and Psychodynamic concepts. I have always been fascinated with the study of the human mind, especially the unconscious, and the impact personal perspective has on the circumstances we experience.
I'm a skilled, dedicated, experienced, and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist helping Gen-Z and Millennial Women and Men to cope and overcome life's challenges in both Florida and New York.

Through our journey together we can explore the parts of your life that are troubling and causing you turbulence. Hi I am Brendalis and go by Brenda.
Do you feel tired of been undervalued, or feel that you do not matter? I am here to help you improve those feelings and help you understand that you do matter, and you are valuable. I love helping individual achieve their goals and help improve their well-being. I have vast experience working with individual with trauma, depression, anxieties, ADHD, self-esteem, family dynamics, and life-changing events. I consider myself an eclectic social worker who understands that one approach doesn’t fit all, and I like to utilize different techniques based on the client’s needs.
Talking about our feelings make us feel vulnerable; therefore, one of the most important steps into the healing journey is working on developing a client therapist relationship. My goal is to help alleviate the stigma and to provide that comfort that will help you improve the symptoms that seems to be holding you back in a non-judgmental way.
When it comes to changes, I can relate. As a military wife, I have been through a lot of changes and challenges. Whether it was having to relocate to a new place, having to leave family and friends and/or having to start all over, I completely understand how scary it is and I am here to help you through that process of change and the fear of the unknown. I recently move to Florida, and I am licensed in Illinois, Iowa, and Washington State. I am here to help you through the healing journey.
Veronica Montoya has experience working with all ages, including adults, young adults, teens/adolescents, and children. She has worked with people in a broad range of areas, including anxiety, depression, substance use, parent-child relationships, self-esteem, decision-making issues, and body image issues. The most important aspect of my work with you will be to build a positive, trusting therapeutic relationship in which we can together work through whatever difficulties you may be facing.
Being a therapist is my first career. I studied psychology with a minor in Spanish for my bachelor's degree and have a master's degree in mental health counseling (which led to me becoming a licensed mental health counselor). There are many reasons I am well-suited to be a therapist but to begin, I am nonjudgmental, caring, empathetic, and open. I have worked in a variety of areas, including private practice, residential treatment centers with adults and teens, and specialized therapeutic foster care with children. I have also worked with everyone from infants and toddlers to seniors. These various settings help me take a holistic approach when working with my clients.
