I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor ( LMHC) Clinical Supervisor and Board Certified NCC in Florida. I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey that involves empathically listening without judgment. I use a variety of methods that are personally tailored approach for each client and situation. As a therapist, I am empathetic, supportive , and straightforward. I consider myself an open minded therapist who uses learned skills, experience, and sense of humor to offer logical and realistic approach to counseling. In addition to therapy, I offer evaluations and documentation for Emotional Support Animals (ESA) when clinically appropriate. ESA letters can help individuals with mental health challenges access the support they need from their animal companions. ESA letters are issued after a thorough assessment to ensure they meet ethical and legal standards. If you’re considering an ESA, feel free to discuss this during your session. I also understand that mental health symptoms can impact school, testing, or work performance. I provide support and documentation for accommodations (such as extended test time, modified environments, or school/workplace supports) to help clients demonstrate their true ability, when clinically appropriate and not after a single session.

Hello! My name is Jeremy Brown! Has it been difficult and tough sometimes to talk to others like family and friends? Do you feel like people around you are not listening or hearing you when you speak? Do you struggle with self-compassion and self-gratitude? Have you always turned to other means to cope when stressed such as alcohol or other substances? Hello, I'm Jane originally born and raised in N.J. and living in Florida since 2017. I've been practicing mental health therapy for 40+ years in the field and in private practice. I enjoy working with clients and helping them through the therapy process and achieve their goals. Originally, I was planning on becoming an anthropologist and studying with Dr. Margaret Mead, however, my career plans changed when I realized that my own family had difficulties in communicating with each other. I wanted to study and help other families learn to talk to one another. From seeing families, this turned into seeing children-teens, couples, and adults. I find it very rewarding to help clients through a difficult time.

I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your authentic self, feel genuinely heard, and explore what is happening in your life without fear of judgment. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with doctoral-level training, I am passionate about helping individuals better understand themselves, navigate difficult experiences, strengthen relationships, and develop healthier patterns that support meaningful and lasting change. My approach is warm, collaborative, compassionate, and empowering. I do not believe therapy is about simply telling you what to do or giving you a list of solutions. Instead, I work alongside you to understand your experiences, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, recognize your strengths, and develop practical tools that can help you move forward with greater confidence and intention. I also understand that reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you are used to handling things on your own. My goal is to create an environment where you can be honest and curious, feel supported, and work at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you are navigating stress, anxiety, relationship concerns, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, emotional overwhelm, or simply feeling ready for something different, therapy can provide an opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. Together, we can work toward greater clarity, stronger boundaries, healthier relationships, improved coping skills, and deeper confidence in the choices you make. I want you to leave therapy not only feeling understood, but also feeling more equipped to navigate life independently, trust yourself, and create a life that feels more aligned with who you are and what matters most to you. I view therapy as a partnership, and I value creating a space where you can feel challenged, encouraged, and genuinely supported throughout the process.

My name is Miguel Lopez, a Hispanic male (He/Him/His) and U.S. Army combat veteran who brings a unique perspective to my work as a therapist. Fluent in Spanish and passionate about guiding people through life’s challenges, I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Walden University, a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Colorado Technical University, and an Associate’s in Criminal Justice from Pikes Peak State College. With over a decade of experience as a caseworker, substance abuse counselor, and therapist, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse clients facing real-life struggles and in need of daily support. Life can be tough, and we all face difficult moments—whether it’s a breakup, divorce, grief, the loss of a loved one or pet, or even a job loss. In these times, having an unbiased person to offer support can make a world of difference. I see trauma as an unexpected part of life that is often hard to process, but with the right help, it can be managed and overcome healthily. I’ve personally experienced more than my share of trauma, grief, loss, sadness, depression, and substance use, and I sought help to work through them. My approach to therapy is centered on helping people in the best way possible, always with an open mind. I often use Maslow’s hierarchy of needs as a guide, because I believe mental health is hard to prioritize when physical needs aren’t met, or issues like homelessness or substance abuse are present. I enjoy working with clients from age 5 to older adults who face Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, PTSD, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, and other mental health or substance use challenges. It’s easy to fight battles alone and suffer in silence, but you don’t have to anymore—together, we can work toward healing and a better future.

Licensed Psychotherapist | Culturally Sensitive | Trauma-Informed Welcome, I’m Nubia. Healing doesn’t happen overnight — but with the right support, it absolutely happens. Whether you're working through trauma, betrayal, anxiety, divorce, or simply feeling emotionally stuck, I’m here to help you move forward with clarity, strength, and care. I work with adults navigating life transitions, stress, or emotional wounds that have been hard to process alone. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or unsure of how to break free from patterns that no longer serve them. Together, we explore the deeper “why” behind those patterns — and create space for healing, resilience, and growth. My approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). These methods help us understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected — and how to gently shift the beliefs that keep you feeling stuck. But beyond technique, I lead with authenticity, compassion, and cultural awareness. In our sessions, you’ll find a space that feels safe, honest, and judgment-free. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re returning to it, you are welcome exactly as you are. Clients often tell me they feel more centered, more empowered, and more hopeful after working together. I offer flexible scheduling, including evenings and virtual sessions, because healing should fit into real life. If you’re ready to begin your journey — whether you’re clear on your goals or still figuring them out — I’d be honored to support you. Let’s take the first step, together. You may be going through big changes in life, fatherhood-motherhood, new marriage, professional challenges, or facing illness, getting older, losing people close to you, moving to a new place, starting over after divorce, or adjusting after a breakup or a change in your military life. These experiences can make anyone wonder who they are, how they relate to others, how they make decisions, and how they deal with grief, change, and conflict. Life keeps giving me chances to adjust to changes in my body, feelings, thoughts, and spirit. Some days are easier than others, and that’s just part of being human. I see it as a way to keep getting stronger, more flexible, and better at handling life. When my emotions feel really strong, I may feel pulled in different directions. But reaching out, connecting with someone, and taking action usually helps me stay resilient and keep moving forward.

I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood—a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without fear of judgment. I also believe that meaningful growth sometimes requires stepping outside of our comfort zones, challenging old patterns, and discovering strengths we may have forgotten we possess. My approach to therapy is person-centered, compassionate, and collaborative, with just the right amount of gentle challenge. I strive to create a comfortable, authentic environment where we can explore life's difficulties while also recognizing opportunities for growth and change. I won't simply sit back and nod along, but I also won't push you before you're ready. I believe in meeting you where you are while helping you move toward where you want to be. One of my greatest professional passions is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I am drawn to EMDR because of its ability to help individuals process painful experiences, work through trauma, and begin to loosen the grip that past experiences can have on their present lives. I believe that our experiences shape us, but they do not have to define us. EMDR offers an opportunity to move beyond simply understanding what has happened to us and toward experiencing meaningful emotional healing. I value humor when appropriate and honest conversations. Therapy can be hard work, but it doesn't always have to feel heavy. **Above all, I want you to know that you don't have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy.** You just have to be willing to start. I'll meet you there, and we'll work together to find a path forward.

Hi, I'm Jacob. I specialize in helping adults heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, and stress. I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where we can work together to understand what you're carrying, build on your strengths, and help you move toward lasting healing. My passion for this work comes from my own life experiences. As a young person, I lived through significant trauma, including abuse and profound loss. Like many people, I searched for ways to cope before I had healthy support. My healing journey began when I started serving others, which eventually led me to become an EMDR therapist. Experiencing EMDR for myself transformed the way I understood healing and inspired me to pursue advanced training and certification. Today, I use EMDR alongside a client-centered approach, always meeting you where you are. I believe healing is possible, even when it doesn't feel that way right now. Together, we'll work at a pace that feels comfortable while helping you process difficult experiences, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful change in your life.

I am a therapist who enjoys building a relationship with my clients by finding how to best understand each other. We may not share a background, but practicing curiosity from a position of genuine interest helps me better understand the people around me and form rapid connections. I believe knowledge and language have power so that the way we think and the information we use to think help us view what we think as changeable and adjust it to be more helpful.

Sometimes life blows up in a way you never saw coming. A relationship ends. Someone lies to you. Trust gets shattered. You lose someone you love. Anxiety starts taking over your brain. Or you wake up one day and realize the life you thought you were building is not the life you actually have. A lot of the people I work with are functioning just fine on the outside while internally thinking, What the hell just happened to my life? They're replaying conversations, second-guessing themselves, trying to make sense of someone else's behavior, wondering whether they missed something, and feeling completely exhausted by their own thoughts. You don't need to show up with a diagnosis or a beautifully organized explanation of what's wrong. You can bring the messy version. I'm not a therapist who is going to sit silently for 50 minutes, nod occasionally, and then ask how that made you feel. I am engaged. I ask questions. I notice patterns. I will tell you what I'm seeing. I will validate what deserves validation, and I will also challenge you when I think you are getting stuck, avoiding something important, or being much harder on yourself than the situation actually calls for. There is room here for grief, anger, confusion, ugly truths, dark humor, bad decisions, overthinking, faith, and the occasional sentence that starts with, "I know this sounds crazy, but..." I work especially well with adults dealing with anxiety, grief, heartbreak, betrayal, complicated relationships, and major life changes. What happened matters. But I do not want the worst thing that happened to you to become the organizing principle for the rest of your life.
