Hi, I’m Katya. If you’re considering therapy, you may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward—even if you’ve been trying to handle things on your own. If you’ve wondered whether therapy will actually help you, you’re in the right place. I see therapy as a practical, collaborative space where we focus on real progress, not perfection.
My approach is strengths-based and grounded in tools that help you understand patterns that keep you stuck, manage emotions more effectively, and reconnect with what matters most to you. Therapy isn’t about erasing the past—it’s about building steadiness, clarity, and self-trust so you can move through life with more resilience.
I often think of therapy like a climb: progress isn’t always about pushing harder. Sometimes it means pausing, reassessing, and finding your next steady hold. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, relationship challenges, or ongoing stress, my goal is to help you feel more grounded and supported as you move forward.
I work with individuals and families in a collaborative way, meeting you where you are and creating a process that feels practical, respectful, and empowering.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Georgia. My experience comes from providing direct mental health and behavioral counseling for teens and adults with a variety of presenting issues, including anxiety, relationship and family issues, trauma, community violence, gender identity, and depression. I approach the therapeutic relationship with an acute sensitivity and respect for multi/cross-cultural factors. My clinical experience includes working with a diverse population which includes race, youth, families, and adults given my firsthand experience in navigating generational and cultural differences. My experience is varied and across settings, as I have provided individual and family therapy in community mental health agencies, school settings and day treatment facilities. I believe that we are all products of our closest relationships, our environment, our family systems, and every moment that leads to the present us. I strive to treat the therapeutic relationship, and you, with compassion, respect, and warmth. My therapy style and approach draws influence from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Psychoeducation, and Structural systems. Hi,
I am Kamala, a FL and GA LMHC. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Jacksonville University in 2003 and my master's in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2015. I have worked as a mental health counselor for five years. However, I have been in the field of helping people for 18 years, starting as a case manager at a homeless shelter and later as a special education teacher. What can I can say? People are my niche.
Helping individuals get through life's difficulties is my purpose. The thing about it is, we may not be able to live 100% symptom-free, but we can live productive, fulfilling lives even with some discomfort. That may sound daunting, but I think it's realistic. Do you know why? Because even when we get through one thing, another thing is somewhere on the timeline waiting. I'm here to help you get through your "thing" now and prepare you for your "thing" later.
Hope to meet you soon.
Hello and welcome. I’m Shakis Farmer, and for more than ten years I’ve supported children, adults, and families in both schools and the community. Taking the step toward therapy shows strength, and I’m honored to be part of your journey.
I believe everyone deserves a space where they can feel safe, valued, and truly heard. Life’s challenges can leave us feeling stuck or overwhelmed, but growth becomes possible when we have the right tools and support. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you uncover solutions, restore balance, and reconnect with the strengths you already carry within you.
You don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. Together, we can create a path forward that feels empowering and meaningful.

I serve individuals and couples between the ages of 18-60 who struggle with communication skills, boundary settings, family and relationship challenges among other challenges who are ready and willing to begin their healing journey.
I work with people who feel stuck in their own mind—overthinking, second-guessing, or constantly on edge.
If you’re dealing with anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or OCD patterns, you might already know how exhausting it can be to try to “logic” your way out of it and still feel out of control. That’s where we take a different approach.
I specialize in treating anxiety and OCD using evidence-based approaches like ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention), helping you gradually face fears in a way that actually reduces their power over time.
I also work with high-functioning professionals and military members who are used to pushing through—but are now feeling burnt out, overwhelmed, or disconnected.
My style is direct, supportive, and real. I’m not the kind of therapist who just nods—I’ll help you understand what’s happening and give you tools that actually make a difference.
If you’re ready to feel more in control and less stuck, we can start there.
Hello! I’m so happy to share a little about myself. I am a licensed clinical social worker in Florida, and I care deeply about helping parents, birthing people, and families during important times in their lives. For the past 19 years, I have worked with people who are pregnant, have just had a baby, or are learning to be parents. I also support adults who are feeling anxious, sad, or stressed, or who are going through big changes in their lives. I want everyone I work with to feel seen, supported, and strong. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of Central Florida, and I am certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. This means I have special training to help people through pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenting. It is such an honor to see people grow, heal, and become more confident and connected with themselves and their families.

Welcome! There is no beauty in "settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living." It is time to be courageous and see what might be causing you to settle. In the midst, I will use cognitive behavioral because I know it therapy works in actual clinical practice. While it may require hope, perseverance, and patience, you'll be glad you did!
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Illinois, Colorado, and Florida. I received a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University (NU). I am trained with a systemic view of change, using empirically-based information that the profession and I know works. Additionally, I have a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling, focusing on Marriage and Family from Liberty University, obtaining clinical training in faith-based solutions. The convergence of ideologies from these two schools helps my aspirational core values of acceptance, appreciation, diversity and inclusion.
Do you struggle with people-pleasing, low self-worth, or painful relationships that leave you feeling like you’ve lost yourself? Maybe you grew up in a family that looked “fine” on the outside but left you with invisible scars of trauma. You might find yourself replaying old patterns—turning to food, restriction, or overexercise to cope, feeling guilty when you try to set boundaries, or wondering why you keep choosing partners who don’t treat you well. If you’re exhausted from trying to hold it all together while doubting yourself inside, therapy can help you finally break free.
Welcome to the start of a new chapter in your life; Having the vulnerability to begin this journey is a huge step in the right direction, and I am proud of you!
While working together, my approach will be warm and collaborative. I believe YOU are the expert on your own life, and in our work together, I’ll provide a supportive, non-judgmental space to help you tap into your inner strength and build a toolkit for lasting change.
