“Between stimulus and response, there is a space; within that space lies your power and freedom…”
Here’s the thing; we’re all basically the same- but then again, not. Our reactions (to unexpected events, comments, public scrutiny) can vary, depending on our nature, personality, character and whether or not we’ve had breakfast. While the last part was just to get your attention, I’m committed to understanding what makes YOU “tick” and why you respond the way you do. That, in and of itself may be fascinating, but my true intention is to get you back on track, help you find your footing and become laser-focused & confident, regardless of your circumstances!
A bit about me: A native New Yorker, I acquired my MSW following a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from CCNY. Essentially, I view myself as a scientist and life coach, a motivator who recognizes that we’re ALL unique individuals, but do share many of the same thoughts & feelings. Most of us have struggled with anxiety, uncertainty and self-doubt; yet we’ve also experienced feeling confident, grounded and secure at one time or another. Then something happened and our self-esteem took a hit; there were setbacks.
Bear in mind, our backgrounds and early childhood experiences, our genetic predispositions all serve to shape our personalities and the essence of our being. To that end, as a clinician, I strive to guide individuals to examine their beliefs- in order to gain insight into their potentially self-destructive behavior- or whatever is getting in the way of their progress. Together, we’ll explore what’s influenced your self-concept and self-esteem. The saying that always resonated with me, “If you think you can, or you think you can’t- you’re right…” Life can feel overwhelming & insurmountable, but with the right tools, the sky’s the limit- whatever you’re facing!
My name is Daniel Llerena. I have worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 7 years providing client-centered mental health services. I earned my bachelor's degree at Central Connecticut University New Britain, CT and Master of Social Work from University of Connecticut School of Social Work, Hartford, CT. Throughout my clinical experience, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds who are navigating a wide range of emotional, mental health, and life challenges. My approach is grounded in creating a safe, respectful, and nonjudgemental environment where clients can feel heard, understood, and comfortable exploring the concerns that brought them to therapy. I believe therapy is a collaborative process. Rather than telling you what you should do, I work with you to better understand your experiences, identify your strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and explore meaningful steps toward the changes you would like to make. I incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions while tailoring treatment to each person's individual needs, goals, values, and circumstances.
I am licensed in Connecticut with 10 years of professional experience. I am an Army Veteran and have dedicated my career to helping to support all walks of life on their personal journeys of development and growth. I’m a therapist who supports adults who carry a lot—people who often feel like the steady one for everyone else while quietly feeling overwhelmed or disconnected inside. I show up in therapy with warmth, grounding, and a calm presence, and I want this space to feel like somewhere you can finally slow down, breathe, and be fully yourself.
As a queer therapist, a military spouse, and a former minister, I understand what it’s like to navigate identity, belonging, faith transitions, and the pressure to stay strong during major life changes. I provide culturally sensitive and LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and I’m experienced supporting military service members, veterans, and the loved ones who share the emotional load alongside them.
I’m here to walk with you as you explore who you are, heal old patterns, build healthier boundaries, and create a life and relationships that feel more grounded, honest, and sustainable.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Connecticut with over 25 years of experience supporting adolescents and young adults. Hello! I am a licensed mental health counselor with more than 10 years of experience. I specialize in providing transformative individual therapy for adults and teens. My extensive experience encompasses a wide range of client issues, with key focuses on general anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, life transitions, dating and relationship challenges, and depression.
Embracing a wellness perspective, I am passionate about tapping into your inherent strengths and abilities to pave the way for healing. I highly value your unique individuality, and my treatment methods are adaptable to diverse values and needs. By considering your holistic health, I aim to help you make swift and enduring results in your mental well-being journey.
Do you find yourself constantly worrying or overthinking every possible outcome? Do you feel like you must prepare for the worst just to feel in control? Maybe you struggle with uncertainty, fear making the wrong decision, or feel like everything has to be done perfectly. Anxiety can leave you feeling restless, exhausted, and stuck in patterns that affect your sleep, your relationships, and your peace of mind. Life transitions often bring us into what can feel like “stormy waters.” As Viktor Frankl wrote, “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”
I specialize in helping those suffering from anxiety, including health care professionals and veterans. You don't have to continue suffering. As a seasoned therapist, I can help you feel empowered to stop the cycle of worry and anxiety, find your sense of purpose, and reclaim your life.
The good news is that we've all gone through seasons of our lives when we feel this way. The first step is to reach out to someone for help. My approach is straightforward: together we will identify your goals, establish a problem-solving treatment plan, and go from there. If something is telling you it's time to begin your journey; give me a call.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Doctorate in Social Work and more than 15 years of experience, I strive to create a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where clients feel comfortable being themselves, openly exploring concerns, and working toward meaningful growth and healing at their own pace.
My clinical focus includes supporting individuals experiencing emotional and behavioral concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and a variety of life challenges. Many of the individuals I work with are navigating stress, major life transitions, relationship concerns, or feelings of being overwhelmed, and are seeking greater balance, clarity, and fulfillment in their lives. In addition to traditional therapy, I incorporate elements of life coaching to help clients identify goals, build confidence, and develop practical strategies that promote resilience and growth.
I also have extensive experience working with individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community, with a strong emphasis on providing gender-affirming care for transgender and nonbinary teens and youth. Creating an inclusive, affirming, and culturally responsive space is central to my work, and I am committed to supporting clients as they explore identity, navigate personal and systemic challenges, and build self-acceptance.
I work with individuals across the lifespan and tailor my approach using a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities to ensure treatment is individualized and effective. My goal is to partner with each client to identify strengths, address barriers, and support ongoing emotional well-being and personal empowerment.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Connecticut and have over 30 years experience. Helping clients achieve their goals by identifying barriers and thought patterns that get in the way of these goals is key. Learning coping skills, ways to communicate and manage emotions can be valuable and helpful. My direct but empathetic approach will help you meet your goals.

Hello!
I’m Aida Valerio.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who found my calling 11 years ago having discovered that I wanted to provide people with a therapeutic space to heal, grow, and ultimately transform.
Are you going through a personal challenge or major life transition? Do you need a safe space to have your experiences affirmed and validated? Do you feel overwhelmed by your emotions and in need of support? Have you considered speaking to someone but are unsure of how to begin?
Wherever you are in your journey, I want to congratulate you on exploring possibilities to receive help. Therapy, like anything new or unknown, can feel scary. When Wendy was learning how to fly in Peter Pan, her fear of “what if I fall?” was met with Peter’s response of “oh, darling, what if you fly?” Not only did she fly, but she also transformed.
My therapeutic approach is gentle, warm, and trauma-informed to ensure your comfort every step of the way. I listen attentively and non-judgmentally, welcoming your authentic self. You can express yourself in English and/or Spanish as I am fluent in both languages.

You made it! I’m Amanda, and I’m here to help you figure things out.
I have the privilege of working with people dealing with all kinds of real-life struggles—trauma, ADHD, anxiety, low motivation, oppositional behavior, or just feeling totally over therapy. A lot of this stuff comes from old pain or shame that’s been weighing you down, and my goal is to help lighten that load so you can feel more like yourself again. My style is trauma-informed, calm, and focused on healing the deeper stuff in a way that feels safe and manageable. I also look at the bigger picture—family dynamics, past relationships, and the systems around you—because they all play a part.
******Please be advised that intake appointments require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. If an intake is canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, I will cancel the intake appointment and place you on my waitlist for future availability. I value direct and timely communication and ask that clients be considerate of my time and schedule, just as I strive to be respectful and considerate of yours. Intake appointments are specifically reserved for new clients, and adequate notice allows me the opportunity to offer that time to another individual who may be waiting for services.
You look like you’re holding it together, but inside you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected. I help individuals and couples manage anxiety, burnout, relationship stress, and life transitions so they can feel calmer, more connected, more in control, and more like themselves. Over 130 clients have rated their experience working with me 4.9/5. My approach is supportive, practical, and focused on helping you create real change—not just talk about problems in a way that feels meaningful.
Greetings! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Hypnotherapist practicing in Connecticut. I obtained my Masters Degree from Columbia University. I have approximately 22 years of counseling-related work experience in a variety of settings (hospitals, schools, and community mental health settings). In 2009, I became intrigued with holistic healthcare and began to incorporate different aspects of the mind, body, soul connection into my clinical practice.
Hi, I’m Demetria Agharese, and I help people who are tired of feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or disconnected from themselves find their way forward.
My ideal clients are adults who may look like they have it all together on the outside but are quietly struggling on the inside. You may be the person everyone depends on while privately battling anxiety, intrusive thoughts, OCD, self-doubt, burnout, relationship difficulties, or the pressure to constantly “hold it all together.”
Maybe your mind won’t shut off. You overthink every decision, question your feelings, replay conversations, worry about what might happen, or feel trapped by thoughts you wish you could turn off. Maybe you’re navigating a breakup, divorce, major life transition, low self-esteem, or simply wondering, “How did I lose myself?”
You don’t have to continue living that way.
I offer a warm, genuine, culturally responsive, and judgment-free space where you can put down the weight you’ve been carrying and talk openly about what’s really happening. I don’t believe therapy should feel like sitting across from someone who simply checks boxes on a diagnosis list. I believe you deserve to feel heard, understood, challenged when needed, and supported throughout the process.
Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ERP, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, behavioral strategies, and mindfulness, I help clients break unhelpful cycles, face fears, manage difficult emotions, build confidence, establish healthier boundaries, and become less controlled by anxiety and uncertainty.
Most importantly, therapy with me is collaborative. I’m not here to tell you who you should be. I’m here to help you discover who you are, understand what matters to you, and develop the confidence to live accordingly.
If you’re ready to stop simply surviving and start creating a life that feels more peaceful, authentic, confident, and meaningful, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

It’s tricky being a person. Talk therapy can help.
Life can be complicated. Maybe you're going through a big change, feeling overwhelmed by your thoughts, or wondering why you've been stuck in the same patterns. Whatever brings you here, you don't have to figure it out on your own.
Sometimes the ways we've always coped stop working as well as they once did. Therapy can help you better understand yourself, navigate challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Talk therapy can help by providing a structured space to:
Understand patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behavior.
Work through stress, anxiety, grief, or relationship challenges.
Develop coping strategies and communication skills.
Explore personal goals, values, and identity.
Feel heard by someone trained to listen without judgment.
It's not only for crises or mental health diagnoses. Some people use therapy much like they would coaching, education, or preventative healthcare: as a way to better understand themselves and handle life's complexities.
Hi, I’m Donique.
I’m really glad you stopped by.
If you’re here, life may have been feeling heavier than usual. Maybe you’ve been carrying more than you let people see. Maybe you’ve been showing up for everyone else while quietly struggling yourself. Or maybe you’re just tired of feeling the way you’ve been feeling and you’re ready for something to change.
Whatever brought you here, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who’s had the privilege of supporting people through some of the most difficult seasons of their lives. One thing I’ve learned is that: therapy helps and healing is possible.
I’ll ask questions that make you think, help you recognize patterns you may not have noticed, and remind you of strengths you may have forgotten you had. My goal isn’t to tell you how to live your life. It’s to help you understand yourself well enough to make decisions that feel right for you.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief, burnout, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, I am happy to help you become happier, wiser, and more equipped to handle hard things. I’m here whenever you are ready.
Hello! My name is Dr. Steven Robinson. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Texas. I received my Masters from the University of Southern California and my Doctorate from Walden University. I have been practicing for 7 years. I help adolescents, young adults and LGBTQ+ populations struggling with depression, anxiety and self esteem issues by providing a judgment free environment where they can navigate the challenges of modern society.
What if your story does not end here?
You might feel stuck—replaying old patterns, carrying everyone else’s burdens, dimming your own light just to keep the peace. Maybe you are the one everyone leans on, but inside you are exhausted—carrying anxiety, grief, or wounds you have never had space to heal.
Many of the women I work with have experienced church hurt that has shaken their faith, childhood trauma that still echoes in their relationships, the pressure to hold everything together, or the quiet loneliness of motherhood and major life transitions. They are strong, capable, faith-filled women who have simply carried more than anyone should carry alone.
In our sessions, we will explore your story, identify patterns keeping you stuck, build healthy boundaries, and use practical tools to help you move toward peace and purpose. I integrate evidence-based therapies—including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and solution-focused strategies—with faith-honoring principles for clients who desire spiritual integration. Together, we will create a safe space for your emotions and your faith to coexist as we work toward healing.
I do not offer quick fixes or clichés. Instead, we will explore how your past shapes your present, challenge limiting beliefs, and strengthen your emotional and spiritual resilience. I believe boundaries are sacred, healing is possible, and your story still has power.
I have worked in universities, church ministries, and schools, and I have walked alongside women from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. For the past 15 years, I have trained and supervised future counselors as a counselor educator, and I bring both professional expertise and personal faith to this sacred work. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC).
Welcome, my name is Adam McReynolds. My ideal clients are individuals and families navigating trauma, identity, and major life transitions—whether due to military service, complex relationships, or adolescence. Many people feel overwhelmed by the weight of their past or unsure of how to move forward. We want to feel empowered, emotionally safe, and in control of our lives.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a combat Veteran certified in EMDR, I specialize in trauma recovery, relationship dynamics, and Sex Therapy. I offer a supportive, direct, and culturally responsive space to explore healing and growth. My work blends evidence-based approaches with deep compassion and practical tools.
Whether you're working through the lasting impacts of trauma, a teen trying to make sense of your world, or someone in a blended family seeking peace, you're not alone. I've walked alongside many on similar journeys, and I’m here to support yours. Let’s take the next step together. I'm not shy to say it like it is.
There are lots of ups and downs in life… twists… and turns. Some people choose to navigate difficulties alone. However, you are likely reading this because you are tired of doing it all by yourself. You’re thinking about a little help and support. Reaching for help is a wise thing. It is a sign of health that I value deeply.
I am Jim Hughes. I have over 30 years of experience as a Specialty Clinician. I'm a former faculty member of the UMASS STRESS REDUCTION CLINIC that was featured on Bill Moyers' Healing and the Mind. I got my start working with Children at a crisis shelter, Casa De los Ninos, and in the trenches at The Arizona Children’s Home in Tucson Arizona. Moved by the profound transformations I witnessed, I moved east and attended graduate school as I worked at Wellspring, a long-term therapeutic community in Bethlehem Connecticut with mentor Richard Beauvais. Upon graduation, I worked for the renowned UMASS STRESS REDUCTION CLINIC with Jon Kabat-Zinn teaching meditation and stress reduction in the hospital.
In all my endeavors, mindfulness-based stress reduction is the key ingredient to help heal through difficult emotional and medical issues, challenging adult relationships, intimacy issues, anxiety, depression, and internet and pornography addiction.
In addition, I am particularly interested in helping people with chronic stress and anxiety and medical problems such as panic attacks, stress, anxiety, heart disease, hypertension, A1C issues, diabetes, chronic pain, cancer and other medical issues.
