New to Grow
Hello I am currently a psychotherapist at a community mental health agencies. We serve diverse clients including those with serious mental illness and substance use disorders. Due to the nature of the setting and experience I have in more acute settings, I can offer versatile services tailored to your needs and goals. I truly enjoy this work and view it as a privilege to support people as they share their stories and navigate change.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Initial sessions can be challenging, especially when we're in a vulnerable place. I prioritize creating a safe space and building our therapeutic relationship, as meaningful work can only be done in that kind of environment. My goals for the first session include getting to know you, understanding your goals, and exploring how I can help you reach them.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I have a direct and supportive therapeutic approach. My clinical background includes both inpatient/residential treatment and outpatient psychotherapy. While my inpatient work focused on crisis management and stabilization, my outpatient work centers on longer-term therapeutic support, skill-building, and solution-focused interventions.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
Clients that I find the most suitable to my practice style include those who are looking to make a change and are open to feedback around what that change make entail.
