My name is Christopher Raposo. I’m a trained and licensed clinical social worker. My work experience has been in acute psychiatric hospitalization, outpatient substance abuse, and community behavioral health clinics. I’ve worked with a clientele suffering from a vast array of disorders, backgrounds, and life stressors. The work we do as a team mostly consists of psychoeducation, therapy, and a therapeutic alliance defined by treatment goals and objectives.
As a licensed professional counselor, I assist to identify challenges, process feelings and to create appropriate solutions. I provide services with a non-judgmental, positive and therapeutic relationship in order to make appropriate changes to your improve quality of life. My primary method is a Client Centered Approach to treatment, one that allows for a better perspective to support you with your current challenges.
I am a licensed psychologist with an interest in helping people live the life they want. I will help you gain self-awareness and understanding to help you be better able to manage and control your emotions, and by extension, your life.
I have provided therapeutic services for over 10 years. I employ a multimodal approach to therapy, but would primarily characterize me as a cognitive behavioral therapist, with specific training in family intervention, behavioral modification, and trauma-informed care. I have also received training in a variety of other treatment modalities and believe in providing high quality evidence-based treatment.
I am a strong believer that our well-being is affected by biological, psychological, and social factors. I utilize a biopsychosocial approach that highlights the interdependent nature of the body, mind, and social factors and how they might be contributing to the development or continuation of our problems.
Whether you are dealing with depression, family issues, or anxiety, I can help support you in living the life you want. Starting therapy can be a difficult and courageous decision, you have taken the first steps just by being here. I look forward to working with you!

Hello and welcome! I’m glad you’re here. As a bilingual (Spanish) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Connecticut, I’m passionate about supporting people through life’s challenges. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of Miami, and for the past 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping clients from many different cultural backgrounds. I specialize in guiding adults (18+) who are facing life transitions, anxiety, depression, or stress. I also offer couples counseling, providing a safe, caring space to navigate communication, trust, and intimacy issues together.

We all have fundamental needs: To belong, to feel understood, to give and receive love, to feel financially secure, to be free from pain. My approach to therapy begins with addressing the impetus that led to scheduling that first appointment, to then addressing core basic needs like sleep, nutrition and social connections. We will work to develop an awareness into emotional states and behaviors that arise out of them. Sometimes, it is the actions of others that are the primary source of our own distress. Even then, we can focus on what is in our control to improve our coping and circumstances.
Welcome. My name is Karen Fahey. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience. I enjoy working with individuals and ages 18 and up. In a safe and supportive environment, my approach is compassionate, nonjudgmental, collaborative and holistic.
My goal is to help you navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, self esteem, life transitions and relationships. Together we will strive to define your values and find what gives you meaning and purpose so that you can begin to live a more fulfilling and productive life. I will help you to understand patterns of thinking and behavior and learn to cultivate greater self awareness and self acceptance. Starting therapy can feel uncomfortable and scary but by seeking help you are demonstrating that you have courage, strength and hope. I am here to help you on that journey.
As. Seasoned therapist I have worked with a diverse population ages 5 throughout the life span. I have worked in a variety of therapeutic settings including private practice, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient clinics, emergency departments, community mental health centers and a cancer center.

Hello, my name is Kelley Machado, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Connecticut. You may wonder what does Licensed Clinical Social Worker mean, what does that allow me to do? As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I have the unique opportunity to help people work through various points in their lives. In the years I have been a social worker I have worked with various populations of people from many socioeconomic, cultural, and racial backgrounds as well as people with various presenting concerns. I began my career working in the mental health system, then the criminal justice system, then onto medical social work including various medical issues as well as aging and end of life concerns.
I believe people can experience difficulties with coping whenever faced with a transition in life. These changes can include monumental transitions that are both good or bad, like a new job, new family members, loss, separations, disappointments, traumatic events, etc. These types of experiences can cause psychosocial distress which can have far-reaching impacts on many aspects of our lives. I work with my clients who include children, adults, couples, and families to find healthy coping methods in order to gain a healthier perception of themselves which can help to strengthen their relationships with themselves and others so they can find themselves as comfortable, secure, and whole.
I take time to get to know each of my clients on an individual basis so that I can tailor approaches to care because I have learned that not one approach impacts and helps all clients. I have been trained and adopted many approaches to provide therapeutic support including cognitive-behavioral, attachment theory, developmental theory, trauma theory, and dialectical behavioral theory.
Change is not easy and embarking on change takes a tremendous amount of courage and actions. I congratulate you on your wish, strength, and wisdom for seeking help and taking this first step towards making a change in your life. If you are prepared to move beyond wishes and intentions to action and fulfillment- I am here to empower and support you to achieve your goals. I would love to help you reach your goals, whatever that may be in life so you can move forward
I’ve always been interested in understanding people — how life experiences, relationships, stress, and challenges shape the way we cope and move through the world. Over time, I realized I found a lot of meaning in helping people work through obstacles, gain perspective, and feel less stuck in the things weighing them down. I know it can be hard to ask for support, especially when you’ve been trying to manage everything on your own. I want clients to feel comfortable being honest about what they’re facing while also working together to find practical, concrete solutions that help life feel more manageable and move them toward meaningful, lasting change.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and my Master’s degree in Social Work with a clinical focus from Capella University. Over the past 14 years, I have worked with children, teens, adults, couples, and families across in-home, outpatient, and telehealth settings. I’ve supported people through some of the most difficult periods of their lives, including severe anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, family conflict, crisis situations, and overwhelming life stress. Working in a variety of settings and with diverse client needs has taught me how to meet people where they are, adapt to challenging situations, and help clients find realistic ways to move forward.
I see therapy as a place to be real about what’s not working and figure out what needs to change. Some clients come in feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected in relationships, overwhelmed by responsibilities, or frustrated by patterns they can’t seem to break. My role is to help people make sense of what they’re experiencing, develop practical tools that actually fit their lives, and regain a stronger sense of control, stability, and confidence moving forward.
I enjoy working with individuals looking for help to understand themselves better. Worry regarding life stages and the need for a safe space to process those stages of life is where I as a Therapist comes in. I work with family systems who need help navigating to get to an improved way of functioning. My role as a Therapist is to help clients that have come to the realization of wanting to grow beyond their current circumstances both mentally/emotionally.
I am an LCSW (License Clinical Social Worker) with over 19 years of experience in the field of mental health and I have been licensed since 2010. I have worked in crisis behavioral health hospitals with both adults and adolescents, outpatient community mental health clinics and in hospice. I have also worked at the University of Michigan counseling center with undergraduate and graduate students. I have extensive experience in relationship/communication issues, trauma work, infertility and miscarriage counseling, parenting, grief work, life transitions, depression and anxiety. I studied social work at the University of Michigan and completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Washington.

When counseling, I look at the whole person not just the current situation. I take time to get to know you and understand your situation and/or concerns. I treat all my clients with the utmost respect and compassion. I use motivational skills to help my patients see their strengths and help them create achievable goals. I believe in breaking the big goal into smaller goals that lead to meeting that larger goal. I believe this creates positive reinforcement for my clients and improves their emotional health, during what could be a difficult time in their life. I look forward to helping you improve your mental health, one step at a time.
I have 8 years of experience working with ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar, substance abuse and co-occurring.

It's busy and comes with sacrifices and challenges but fun and filled with opportunities to connect that many of us cannot slow down our lives to cue in on.

Some of my patients go through IVF, or are pregnant but feeling off and want to monitor their mental health and prepare a birthing plan. I mostly work closely with women trying to work through things like, breast feeding struggles, NICU trauma, OCD w/ intrusive scary thoughts, mood swings yup-even postpartum rage, traumatic birth experiences and even negative experiences with medical teams causing peri-partum onset of symptoms typically based in anxiety. Just meeting with me is a support, safe space and outlet for you to regain momentum, feel more energized and often I see patients begin to know and experience HOPE.
Hi, I’m Demetria Agharese, and I help people who are tired of feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or disconnected from themselves find their way forward.
My ideal clients are adults who may look like they have it all together on the outside but are quietly struggling on the inside. You may be the person everyone depends on while privately battling anxiety, intrusive thoughts, OCD, self-doubt, burnout, relationship difficulties, or the pressure to constantly “hold it all together.”
Maybe your mind won’t shut off. You overthink every decision, question your feelings, replay conversations, worry about what might happen, or feel trapped by thoughts you wish you could turn off. Maybe you’re navigating a breakup, divorce, major life transition, low self-esteem, or simply wondering, “How did I lose myself?”
You don’t have to continue living that way.
I offer a warm, genuine, culturally responsive, and judgment-free space where you can put down the weight you’ve been carrying and talk openly about what’s really happening. I don’t believe therapy should feel like sitting across from someone who simply checks boxes on a diagnosis list. I believe you deserve to feel heard, understood, challenged when needed, and supported throughout the process.
Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ERP, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, behavioral strategies, and mindfulness, I help clients break unhelpful cycles, face fears, manage difficult emotions, build confidence, establish healthier boundaries, and become less controlled by anxiety and uncertainty.
Most importantly, therapy with me is collaborative. I’m not here to tell you who you should be. I’m here to help you discover who you are, understand what matters to you, and develop the confidence to live accordingly.
If you’re ready to stop simply surviving and start creating a life that feels more peaceful, authentic, confident, and meaningful, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

With a client-centered approach, I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, trauma, or life transitions, I integrate evidence-based techniques tailored to your unique needs. My goal is to empower you with the tools and insights to create lasting change and live a more fulfilling life.
I believe that every person has inherent worth and the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change. My goal is to provide a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life challenges.
For clients who desire it, I offer Christian counseling, thoughtfully integrated biblical principles, prayer, and faith into the counseling process.
My primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, helping clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and develop practical skills that lead to healthier emotions and behaviors. I also incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which helps clients develop psychological flexibility, accept difficult emotions without being controlled by them, and move toward a life that aligns with their deepest values.
I work collaboratively with clients to build resilience, strengthen emotional regulation, improve communication, establish healthy boundaries, and develop effective coping strategies. I work with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, ADHD and low self esteem.

I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and transitions with greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion. My approach is collaborative, grounded, and deeply empathetic — I believe therapy should be a safe space where you can show up as your full self without judgment.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply seeking personal growth, I’m here to walk alongside you with curiosity, support, and practical tools for meaningful change. You are not your diagnosis, and therapy is not about "fixing" anything. Therapy is about accepting and embracing challenges rather than trying to avoid or escape them.
While past trauma may come up, we will focus on the here and now, and what will help you live a more productive, fulfilling, and peaceful life.
