Hi, my name is Indra, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Masters from the University of Connecticut and have over 5 years of experience in the mental health field. My passion is bringing healing to people who have been through traumatic and stressful events and helping them re-discover their passion and purpose in life. I also love working with couples.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we start with brief introductions and then dive into the specific challenges you are facing which will help me to create a tailored plan for us to work through in future sessions. We will also touch a bit on your history so I can get an idea of all the factors influencing your life and the root cause of some of your challenges.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I’ve worked with many different types of clients over the years and this has helped me to develop a solid approach for helping you identify the root cause of your challenges and use different modalities to create an individualized plan which leads to measurable progress. I am very intuitive and compassionate, but also very goal oriented and have helped thousands worldwide (both as a coach and as a therapist) to create major transformations in their lives and I can help you too.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past three years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life and build your self esteem.

Relational

I've been using a combination of Relational Therapy, CBT and Psychodynamic Therapy in my practice for the past three years. It's helped dozens of clients to identify their limiting beliefs and recurring thought patterns (usually formed in childhood) , promote self awareness and healthy behaviors and use this to improve their daily interactions with others.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I have worked with hundreds of clients who have trauma histories over the years and I've found this approach to loosen the grip that the trauma has on their lives and strengthen a client's coping strategies so they can lead a happier life.
