I’ve long been curious about the human experience—how people adapt, cope, and grow through life’s challenges. This curiosity, along with a deep respect for human resilience, led me to the field of mental health and continues to shape how I approach my work today.
In therapy, I aim to create a thoughtful, collaborative space where clients feel respected, understood, and supported. Many of the people I work with are navigating anxiety, past trauma, parenting stress, or life transitions. They may appear steady on the outside while carrying a great deal internally. Together, we work toward deeper self-understanding, practical coping strategies, and healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
I strive to provide affirming, non-judgmental care where all identities and lived experiences are respected. Whether someone is seeking healing from past experiences, support through a life transition, or simply a steadier way of navigating daily stress, therapy can be a collaborative process that helps people feel more grounded, supported, and connected to themselves.
Hello, Thanks for considering working with me. I have been practicing for 25 plus years and there are few clinical challenges I have not encountered. My time in the field and varied experiences have only made me a more well-rounded, compassionate and intuitive clinical guide. I bring much of myself to the work I do and when appropriate I am not afraid to share my own story, if I think it will help you find your way. I believe we all get lost at times in our lives and we need a fellow traveler on occasion to show us the way.

Hi, I'm Emily and I've been practicing as a therapist for the last seven years. I began my own healing work when the coping strategies I relied on - and the mask I wore to get through life - finally stopped working. Under all the pain was a desire to live more honestly and deeply, and its what eventually led me to become a therapist. This is the kind of space I now intend to hold for others.
*Not currently accepting couples*
My therapeutic style is straightforward, and I invite open communication about clients’ experiences in therapy throughout the process. People would likely describe me as direct and straight to the point. Most often I practice through the lenses of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment theory, and existential theory.
How I help clients reach goals:
I believe clients have the capacity to develop their own solutions and that, through a collaborative therapeutic relationship, meaningful movement toward a desired quality of life is possible. I hope that by working together, we can organize and achieve your goals, whatever they may be. If you're unsure of what direction you want to head, we can work on that together, too.
My journey to becoming a provider:
I am a prior service turned mental health professional. I served in the U.S. Army as a combat medic from 2009 to 2012, with one deployment to Iraq. After my service, I switched over to mental health, starting with working in an inpatient mental health facility. I have since worked at a substance use clinic, a private practice, a team practice, and taught psychoeducational classes alongside DHS. I hold two master’s degrees, in addition to a bachelor’s and an associate's degree. I bring specialized knowledge and clinical focus in trauma, sexual concerns, and disordered eating.
I am human first, and because of that, I can often relate to the challenges others face. I take pride in helping people navigate difficult moments, gain clarity, and build confidence in themselves and their lives. I believe everyone has the capacity to grow, heal, and strive for their best—even during times of uncertainty or transition. My role is to walk alongside you, offer support and perspective, and help you get there at a pace that feels right for you.

Helping people navigate life transitions and new expectations from emerging adulthood, , mid-life changes including sexuality, children, careers, relationship types, and all the chaos of life, to end of life decisions and stresses as parents pass on, retirement choices have to be made, grandchildren raised, disease, and loss of friends and family. For persons who have spent part of their lives in jails and prisons, navigating the world that changed while you were not active in it is often difficult, helping you take those steps to understanding your new normal is my privilege.

Hello, I’m Whitnee Willrich, a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion and clarity. I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are without fear of judgment.
In our work together, I focus on helping clients better understand themselves, develop healthier coping strategies, and build stronger relationships. My approach is collaborative, empowering, and grounded in creating meaningful change so you can move forward with greater confidence and emotional well-being.
Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, navigating a life transition, or simply looking for support and personal growth, I am here to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing.
I am a trauma-informed therapist who believes meaningful change happens when people feel truly seen, understood, and safe enough to be honest. My work is rooted in the understanding that our thoughts, emotions, nervous system, and relationships are deeply connected—and that healing requires addressing all of them, not just one part.
I work with individuals and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, relationship distress, and life transitions. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand, or disconnected from themselves or the people they love. Some are carrying the impact of past experiences that still show up in their present, even when they “should be fine by now.”
In our work together, I provide a structured yet compassionate space where insight turns into action. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, and the Gottman Method, tailoring treatment to each client’s needs and goals. Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and grounded in real-life application—not just insight, but skills and meaningful change.
My goal is to help clients develop emotional regulation, clarity, and confidence—so they can respond rather than react, communicate more effectively, and feel more secure in themselves and their relationships. Over time, clients often report feeling less controlled by anxiety or past experiences, more connected to their values, and better equipped to build the life and relationships they want.
Healing is not about becoming someone new, it’s about reclaiming parts of yourself that were lost, protected, or silenced along the way. I’m here to walk alongside you in that process.
I'm not just a therapist. I'm a coffee enthusiast who starts each day with a pour-over and a quiet moment before the world wakes up. I'm an outdoor lover who believes fresh air and moving my body are non-negotiable whether that's a hike, 4x4ing, hitting the resort/ backcountry, a walk with the family, or just standing in the backyard feeling the sun. And I'm a family man. A partner. A parent. Someone who knows what it's like to be pulled in ten directions and still want to show up fully for the people around me.
That life outside the office isn't separate from my work. It's what keeps me refreshed, grounded, and able to come back to this chair with presence and energy. I don't just talk about balance I live it, imperfectly and intentionally.
The work I've done reflects that same groundedness.
I've been shaped by a wide range of experiences: residential treatment settings where the stakes were high and the progress was hard-won. Outpatient practice where life happens between sessions jobs, kids, marriages, breakdowns and breakthroughs. I've sat with clients across the entire lifespan, from geriatric patients navigating legacy and loss to teens just beginning to ask who they are.
That breadth taught me something: suffering doesn't discriminate by age, and neither does healing. Whether you're sixteen or sixty, whether you're processing trauma or just trying to feel less alone, the fundamentals are the same. You want to be seen. You want to be understood. And you want a way forward that actually fits your life.
That's what I'm here for.
Hi! I am so happy that you have made the decision to take this time for yourself and your needs. I'm Caitlin, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Colorado and Florida. I began my practice career as a crisis clinician in Emergency Services serving populations from children & adolescents to the geriatric community; since then, I have moved on to private practice working with clients in Virginia, Florida, Missouri, and am currently living and practicing in Colorado!
Things that fill my cup: hiking with my family, running, staying strong, my two unofficial therapy dogs (who will often make appearances in session), reading, coloring, and visiting a different playground every weekend trying to please a toddler.
I am passionate and supportive of equality in human rights and resources, diversity, acceptance, and finding and speaking your own individual truth.
I specialize in major life changes (marriage, growing family, divorce, death, career change, illness, caregiver stress, etc.) as well as trauma. All these things can cause you to no longer want to do the things you used to love, things that bring you joy. You feel like you to barely recognize yourself anymore. You may not even be able to put your finger on what happened; all you know is that you are not the same person you used to be, and you don’t like it.
I utilize EMDR along with solution-oriented and cognitive behavioral approaches. I look at all aspects of your life; mind, body, environment, and spirit. What we believe about ourselves and the world around us totally affects our behavior and our feelings. Call me today and let’s talk about how I can help you become the person you were before “stuff” happened.

As a social worker for twenty years, I have seen both the incredible hardships that people face as well as human resilience and adaptability. I became a therapist because I believe that healing happens best when we feel seen, heard, and accepted—just as we are. In therapy sessions, I use humor, warmth, and genuine respect to create a safe and supportive space for that purpose.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with individuals across all stages of life, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.
I specialize in helping others with anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem/self-confidence, imposter syndrome, career exploration, and relationship issues.
Seeking help is a huge first step, and I do my absolute best to make the entire therapeutic process as smooth and easygoing as possible by embracing a positive, eclectic, and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
Before I worked as a counselor I worked as a technical writer and software tester, and then as a caseworker in social services. I have also been a studio engineer with much work in audio and video editing and got to spend a year on the film festival circuit for a documentary I made about being an independent musician. All of those experiences I feel are helpful in working with clients from different backgrounds and perhaps in understanding that most of us want to find something meaningful in this life and often feel that we still don't know what our real calling.
