I am a person-centered therapist providing individual therapy for adults. I have been in private practice since 2018, and my experience includes a variety of settings, including residential inpatient, and outpatient treatment. I offer a supportive and collaborative space where clients can better understand themselves, build coping skills, and create meaningful, sustainable change using an integrative approach that includes CBT, DBT, ACT, or EMDR.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We will we explore what brings you to therapy, your goals and what you are hoping to change. I'll also gather some background information and and begin to understand your needs so we can start building a plan together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I strive to create a safe, trusting therapeutic space where clients feel understood, supported, and gently challenged towards growth. I balance emotional processing with practical skill-building in therapy, helping clients explore and make sense of their experiences while also developing tools they can use in daily life to manage emotions, reduce distress, and create meaningful change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adult clients who are experiencing anxiety, trauma, substance use concerns, stress, or life transitions and are seeking support with emotional regulation, coping skills and self-understanding. I provide a supportive, collaborative space where clients can explore their experiences, increase insight into patterns, and work together toward meaningful change. Together we focus on building practical tools, improving emotional stability, and developing healthier ways of coping in daily life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have many years of experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I use CBT in a collaborative and practical way, helping clients to identify unhelpful thought patterns, change cognitive distortions, and develop more balanced, realistic thinking.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy to help clients manage intense emotions, reduce reactivity, and improve relationships. I use DBT to slow things down in the moment, manage overwhelming emotions and respond instead of react.

EMDR

I use EMDR to help clients process and move through past experiences that still feel present or unresolved. I guide clients through this in a structured, supportive way, so they can reprocess those memories, reduce emotional distress, and feel more grounded and less stuck in their day to day life.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help clients notice and step back from unhelpful thoughts rather than getting stuck in them. We focus on creating space between thoughts and actions, clarifying personal values, and building choices that align with those values so clients can move forward even when difficult thoughts or emotions show up.

Integrative

I use an integrative approach, tailoring treatment to each client by drawing from evidence-based methods such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and EMDR. I focus on what fits the client's needs in the moment, whether that's skill-building, processing past experiences, or increasing emotional awareness and flexibility, so therapy is personalized, practical and effective.
