"Life is a journey, travel it well." I believe we're all on our own individual journeys of life that sometimes put us in valleys and sometimes on top of hills. When it comes to the valleys, sometimes it's alright to reach out to someone for a little guidance and help. Hi, my name is Ryan and I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist. One of my favorite parts of my own journey has been navigating the complexities of young adult life stages from college, to work, romance and beyond. But whether or not it's life transitions or just a need for someone to journey along side you during a difficult time, I am here to help.

I identify as queer, fat, femme and have a mixture of indigenous and colonizer DNA. I share this first because the way we identify matters. Many reasons and factors stop us from being ourselves around others and often, when we can't fully live who we are, our mental health suffers. If that's you, I'm here to help. We can work through body image issues, disordered eating, anxiety, depression, trauma, conflict management together if you're willing to do the work of honestly engaging in therapy with me. I grew up on the East Coast to immigrant parents from Colombia and lived in SoCal for 15 years and recently moved back home to be near my parents. I have a rescued pitbull that brings me lots of peace and joy and you might see him napping behind me via telehealth sessions. I enjoy hiking, cooking, reading (fiction for fun), and taking care of my indoor plants. I love learning about indigenous wisdom/practices from all over the world, herbalism, tarot, and other healing practices and beliefs that folks use to find meaning and wellness. Last but not least, I really love my job! And I do it because I believe in it and have witnessed many people shift, grow, break patterns and learn new ones that significantly improve quality of life. If you're curious but unsure if I'd be the right fit for you, email me and we can schedule a 15 minute chat (free of charge) where you can get a better idea and ask a few questions to find out if this would be a good option for you. Please keep your email short and only include your interest in scheduling a 15 minute call and 1 or 2 sentences of what you're looking for. My email is: ericaarizalcsw @ gmail.com

Hi! I'm Nick and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in helping adults who are ready to move beyond just surviving and into a place of genuine connection and wholeness. I understand the profound weight you’ve been carrying for so long, whether it is the shadow of childhood trauma, navigating addiction or recovery, or the deep fatigue of not being fully seen. If you’ve spent years trying to hold it all together, navigating the world as a man, a trauma survivor, someone who is queer, neurodivergent, or in recovery, you may have learned to mask, people please, or stay small simply to survive. I specialize in supporting those who have felt fundamentally “othered” because of their identity, their sensitivity, or their complex struggles. My approach can be direct, relational, and deeply connected. You will not find judgment in our sessions. What you will find is honesty, profound compassion, and the kind of authentic support that allows you to safely let your guard down. I believe the most transformative healing happens in relationship through empathy, attunement, and having the space to be fully yourself, without the need for code-switching, masking, or minimizing any part of your experience. I bring warmth, humor, and realness into our work, meeting you exactly where you are today. Therapy with me is a genuine partnership, focusing on what you need, rather than a rigid prescription. We will collaborate to heal early wounds, develop profound self-compassion, and cultivate a life where you feel a sense of belonging in your own skin. If any of this resonates and if you are ready for a change and a relational experience with someone who understands your journey, I would be honored to connect with you.

Hi! I’m Emily, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in alcohol use disorder, and other addictions, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I earned my Psychology degree from George Mason University and my MSW from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010. I’ve worked in various settings, including schools, hospitals, detox/residential, and intensive outpatient dual diagnosis treatment. Most recently, I provided individual therapy in a group practice from 2019 to 2025. I take a holistic approach to therapy, emphasizing the connection between mind, body, and lifestyle. Together, we’ll explore how your habits and routines influence your mental health while developing a deeper understanding of your history and inner world. Drawing from approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic therapy, Positive Psychology, and EMDR, I tailor my methods to support your unique strengths, challenges, and goals. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I value open communication to ensure our work together evolves to meet your needs. After earning my undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley, I spent a number of years traveling the world and then went on to earn two Master’s degrees, the second in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have been working as a therapist for close to seven years, but have worked as a counselor with children, adolescents, and families for over 15 years. I built my own academic counseling business after my first graduate school, in which I fostered relationships with families and the community. This experience working closely with hundreds of local families gave me great insight into the power of supportive, goal oriented, client centered, positive relationships as catalysts for change in individuals and relational systems. I approach my clients with the belief that they are capable and valuable, and that with my support in identifying their strengths and resources, both internal and external, they can gain skills and achieve goals that can instill a sense of hope which enables them to move forward successfully. I have spent a great deal of time traveling, living, and working in diverse parts of the world, and I believe my own experiences coupled with my genuine positive regard for people has cultivated a broad perspective of understanding that contributes to my success as a therapist.

Hello there, I'm Susie. I'm a bilingual therapist who speaks English and Spanish. I have specialized training in Art Therapy and EMDR. In my work with individuals and groups, I am compassionate, collaborative, culturally sensitive and creative. I believe one of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story. As humans, we create patterns and behaviors that may no longer be helpful for us when navigating relationships in our life. This can feel stressful, helpless, and anxiety provoking. Having space to acknowledge and talk about what is happening in your life can help relieve the intensity of those feelings and can help create new patterns and behaviors.

I am passionate about the impact of spirituality in mental health therapy. As an attachment informed humanist LPCC, I consider the bio-psycho-social-spiritual/existential condition of the folks with whom I work. Healing is a matter of integrating the disparate and fragmented parts of life. Empathy, acceptance, positive regard, and genuineness are crucial elements for effective therapy and these are the characteristics I seek to cultivate in my practice. As far as a specific toolkit, CBT and Motivational Interviewing are the primary evidence based methodologies I employ to be with people in their self-paced, goal oriented healing efforts. Those who want to examine the angst, anxiety, disquiet, and friction in their lives will find a fellow traveler in me.

Have you been struggling with anxiety and/or lack of direction? Are you critical of yourself and feeling negative and sad? Do you have issues in your past you feel are impacting your present? Are you challenged by a life transition? Change is hard and not always smooth. Sometimes we get in our own way toward the life we want to live. I can help gain perspective and look at whether your thoughts and behaviors are helping you along your path or hindering your way. We can look at how patterns, thoughts and behaviors that might have been adaptive from a less than perfect past might be getting in your way now. My approach is client-centered and collaborative, rooted in the belief that healing begins by recognizing and building on each person’s unique strengths. Through hope-inducing relationships, goal-oriented work, and compassionate support, I help individuals identify problem areas that may be trauma or may be something they did not know they could change. We give it a felt sense, validate it, understand it and how it fits or doesn't fit in their life and brainstorm methods to help. We can discuss boundaries, self-awareness building skills, and work slowly. We can also gently discuss things that have been traumatic and process moments in small segments that will help build more inner strenghts and resources, beyond trauma, and toward empowered, meaningful change. My strengths are with sensitive, empathic, individuals struggling to find their voice. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I specialize in trauma-informed care, drawing from EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), somatic techniques and strength-based approaches to support lasting healing and growth. I am EMDRIA-trained. I also hold certificates in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy utilizing Internal Family Systems Parts Works (inner ecosystem perspectives), and Somatic EMDR Therapy, which allow me to help clients reconnect with their bodies, identify stored trauma, and restore a sense of presence and safety.

My name is Jacqueline Aguilar, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Southern California with over 10 years of experience in both mental health and healthcare settings. As a therapist, I am especially passionate about helping individuals overcome their fear of travel—whether that involves flying, visiting a new country, or taking a first cruise. In addition to this focus, I support clients in managing anxiety disorders, depression, and OCD. I have found it deeply rewarding to help individuals build self-esteem, navigate life transitions such as divorce or breakups, and process grief related to the loss of a loved one or cherished pet. Ultimately, my goal is to support each person in reaching meaningful, lasting change. I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) through the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies and have received training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) from the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety at the University of Pennsylvania. I also draw from other approaches, including Motivational Interviewing, and remain committed to ongoing learning and growth in my practice. My approach is grounded in empathy, understanding, and genuine support. Together, we can work toward creating the version of yourself you aspire to be. I look forward to meeting you.

My journey to becoming a therapist started 29 years ago on a personal recovery journey, recovering from personal trauma and addiction in the entire system growing up including family, and coming from a low SES background, therapy became a way to reconcile the change I was going through in my life. Working with and helping others has always been a calling of mine, and becoming a psychologist was a natural extension of that ongoing work on both myself and in my work with others. Beginning with a humanistic approach means meeting the client where they are at, and then conceptualizing the approach with a combination of humanistic and positive psychology, systems theory, and recovery-oriented systems of care.

Hello, I’m Corrine. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and that’s completely understandable. It can also be the beginning of meaningful growth and change. In our work together, I aim to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood. Side by side, we’ll explore the patterns and beliefs that influence how you relate to others and how you show up in your life. By connecting your past experiences with what’s happening now, our goal will be to uncover what’s no longer serving you and begin healing the roots of anxiety, depression, or trauma. My hope is to help you develop healthy ways to cope, build stronger relationships, and feel more confident and grounded as you move forward—so you can live with greater clarity, ease, self-trust and a sense of agency over your life.
