My practice centers on supporting women, with specialty care for adolescents. Many of the women I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or major life transitions, and shifts in relationships, home, work, or family can leave them feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected.
I help clients understand what keeps them stuck, build practical coping skills, and move toward healing and resilience. I bring particular depth to trauma, grief, life transitions, and experiences connected to the child welfare system, including foster care and family disruption.
As an Arabic-speaking therapist, I understand how much language and cultural connection matter in the healing process. My approach is warm, person-centered, and tailored to you, creating a space where you feel genuinely seen and heard, free from judgment.
Whether you are carrying unresolved grief, managing anxiety or depression, or facing a major life change, I am here to walk alongside you. If you are ready to take the next step, I invite you to reach out so we can talk about how I can support you.

Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) based in sunny southern California, living with my partner, of many years, John, and our three cats, three dogs, and tortoise, who by the way, is currently hibernating...and don't we all wish we could do that at times? I have many years of experience working with individuals, and with a varied range of issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and relationship challenges. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings with many ethnic populations. My style is down-to-earth, relatable, at times, direct, and always with a touch of humor. I love what I do and consider it an honor to help you resolve whatever it might be that is holding you back. I look forward to working with you! By the way, a former client recently said: "I am so grateful to have worked with you, you are truly gifted, and I have learned so much!"
I received my Bachelors of Arts in Communications and Master’s of Science in Marriage Family Child Therapy from California State University, Fresno. I am also a semester from graduating with my second Master’s of Science degree in Psychology. Throughout college, I was able to represent Fresno State University as a member of the collegiate rodeo team. This was extremely special to me, as the Central Valley has been my home since the day I was born.
I grew up in a small town called Lemoore, California on my family’s 100-acre cattle ranch, which was home to my family, my cousins, uncles, aunts, and grandmother and grandfather. I have been with my college sweetheart for six years now and have been married for a little over a year. With this said, I can relate to the complexity of family dynamics and interpersonal relationships, as well as the effect that they can have on our lives.
My passion lies in supporting individuals because I believe that each individual has their own integral part of the human experience. Each individual is unique, bringing their own set of morals, beliefs, triggers, traumas, and more. In my role as a therapist, my objective is to assist every individual in crafting the best possible life path for themselves.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I bring a compassionate, collaborative approach to my work. My Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles included a specialization in the Psychology of Trauma, which informs my practice. I work with individuals of all ages as they navigate challenges such as substance use and addiction, relationship and family struggles, trauma—both past and present—workplace stress, depression, self-esteem, anxiety, and other difficulties. My aim is to provide a safe, supportive space where your experiences are met with respect and understanding.

Hi, my name is Bjorn! In my practice I focus on helping my clients overcome obstacles to a healthier life by creating a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR) with a warm, curious, and deeply relational approach to psychotherapy.
Growing up across different cultures shaped my understanding of how identity, family, relationships, and belonging influence our lives. Along with my graduate research in cultural humility, these experiences inform how I listen—with genuine curiosity, openness, and respect for your unique perspective, without assumptions or judgment.
I work with individuals across the lifespan, helping clients navigate anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, family conflict, identity, and major life transitions, including medical diagnoses, hereditary cancer risk, survivorship, and previvorship. I also bring over a decade of advocacy within the hereditary cancer community.
My approach integrates attachment theory, multigenerational family systems, trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral strategies, and clinical art therapy. I look beyond symptoms to understand how past experiences, relationships, and cultural influences may shape your present challenges.
I'm collaborative and attuned, but also actively engaged in our work. I ask thoughtful questions, offer honest observations, and gently challenge patterns when helpful. I believe therapy should provide both emotional safety and opportunities for meaningful growth.
My background in fine arts offers additional ways to explore experiences that may be difficult to express verbally. Art is always optional, and no artistic experience is necessary.
**Services and payment:** Individual psychotherapy is available through select insurance plans and private pay. Couples and family therapy are offered exclusively on a private-pay basis. Please inquire about fees and availability before scheduling these services.

I treat your courage with honor and dignity.

Hi! Welcome to my practice! I offer therapy as a calm, supportive space where you can slow down and feel genuinely heard. With over 15 years of experience, I’ve helped individuals move through anxiety, depression, hurt, and major life transitions. My style is warm, collaborative, and practical—focused on helping you feel grounded and capable of meaningful change.

I am here to help you to break through anxiety, symptoms of depression, personal and generational trauma, and other challenges you might be encountering that make it hard to be true to yourself or cause relationship issues.
In therapy, we will work collaboratively to help you reach your goals. Sometimes this can look like developing coping skills to handle stress more easily so you can move forward, learning your limits and setting priorities to maintain strong boundaries, or becoming a great communicator so you can actively practice how to speak, listen, and be heard.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with five years of experience providing individual therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions. I am deeply committed to helping clients heal emotionally, build resilience, and reconnect with their sense of worth and purpose. My passion for this work is rooted in lived experience. Moving to Nigeria at the age of six, losing my father at twelve, and later experiencing the loss of my newborn taught me firsthand about grief, strength, and the importance of compassionate support. These experiences shaped both who I am and how I show up as a therapist—with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a deep respect for each client’s journey. I believe healing happens when people feel safe, understood, and empowered. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in helping clients move from feeling overwhelmed or stuck toward clarity, emotional balance, and meaningful personal growth.

Hello. I am a licensed social worker in California. I began practicing in the mental health/behavioral health field in 2011.
