My approach is compassionate and collaborative, focused on helping clients feel understood, empowered, and capable of navigating life’s challenges. After graduating university, I taught English in Japan and Vietnam for five years. I developed an empathetic patience and ability to work with people from different backgrounds than myself by living in foreign countries where I had no connection. Whether its anxiety, depression, grief or otherwise unknown, I provide a virtual safe space to explore all of the emotions you may be experiencing and help guide you in finding healthier ways to cope. You'll get the opportunity to better understand the root of your emotional experiences while feeling more empowered to help yourself each step of the way.
Do you overthink, replay conversations, revisit past decisions, predict problems, spiral, or get stuck in patterns that create conflict or keep you avoiding what needs to be addressed?
You are thoughtful, observant, and more capable than you may currently feel. But the same mind that notices details, thinks ahead, and considers different possibilities can go into overdrive. You may feel on edge much of the time, dwell on the past, get irritated by small things, feel flat, or disconnect from things you once enjoyed. You may be going through this on your own or in a relationship with someone dealing with some of the same things.
You may avoid difficult conversations, put off issues, or end up in the same conflict. Shame, fear of rejection, or trouble communicating can make it difficult to say what you really think or need. We can work on skills to communicate better, explore the expectations you bring to relationships, and recognize roles and patterns you keep replaying. Those roles may have served you long ago, but they may need revision now.

I understand how difficult it can be to trust someone, especially if you struggle to ask for help. Getting started may be the hardest part. I am eager to learn about what is bothering you.

Life is a continual process of establishing and reestablishing various identities for ourselves, and sometimes that gets messy or confusing. Sometimes the ways we think and behave become incongruent with what we want and value. Sometimes we have a hard time knowing what we want and value. Sometimes external events or unforeseen challenges disrupt what we envisioned for ourselves and the future. It can feel tricky to navigate issues of identity development, change, grief, loss, anxiety, decision-making, relationship stress, disillusionment, and life transitions alone. But that's what therapy is for.
Therapy with me is an opportunity for you to get to know and understand yourself on a level that you may not have experienced before. In a safe therapeutic relationship, we can begin to understand how historic and present experiences and relationships have shaped your sense of self and patterns of operating in the world. This insight empowers mindful change.
Life can be complicated, and sometimes we find ourselves in places we never expected to be. Maybe you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or frustrated with patterns in your life or relationships. Maybe you have a pretty good idea of what's not working, but figuring out what to do differently is another story. Or maybe you're not quite sure what's going on, you just know something needs to change.
Whatever brings you to therapy, you don't have to have it all figured out before you start.
I offer online therapy for adults throughout California. We all need and deserve to feel seen, heard, understood, and accepted for who we are. Having a place where you can talk openly, sort through your thoughts and feelings, and explore parts of yourself you may not have had room for before can be incredibly powerful.
Finding the right therapist is personal. Sometimes you just get a feeling that someone is a good fit, and I encourage you to trust that. Whether that's with me or someone else, you deserve to find a connection where you feel comfortable being yourself.

I believe healing happens through authentic human connection, so I bring warmth, humor, curiosity, and compassion into every session. I frequently use metaphors, storytelling, and practical examples to help make difficult concepts easier to understand and create meaningful change.
My experience has taught me that every person's story is unique. I don't simply treat symptoms—I work to understand the whole person, including how childhood experiences, relationships, trauma, and the nervous system continue to shape life today. I have extensive experience treating PTSD, complex trauma, and traumatic brain injury (TBI), and I also bring personal insight into the recovery process from TBI. Additionally, I am both personally and professionally familiar with the challenges faced by Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACOA) and individuals raised in dysfunctional families. I believe therapy should be both supportive and transformative. I will meet you with compassion, but I will also encourage you to do the work that creates lasting change. My clients often describe me as part therapist, part coach, and part cheerleader—I celebrate your successes, help you navigate setbacks, and gently challenge you when old patterns keep you stuck.
